So I was there to follow up on that. The provider looked and said I was low previously, which I was never told about even though i had mentioned i had a history of anemia, and he then did more blood work to check recent numbers. We spoke at length about how i had to have a transfusion in the past because i cant tolerate supplements. After a few days, i didn't get any results so i called to see if they had them in yet. The person who answered the phone looked and said i was low again, and told me the provider said to take the things i told him i couldnt take. I told this person that and i ended up getting put on hold and another person came on the line who was very rude and i told her the same thing. She said they would give a message to the doctor. So this is multiple times they ran bloodwork and they dont even tell you about the results or problems. They refuse to send it to other doctors. They disregard their incompetence and they are dismissive and rude when called. It has been weeks of no answers or help. I am just going to find another primary care physician since i can not trust or rely upon this office whatsoever. ​

This is weight loss meds that should be administered weekly. We already missed one week 2) They will tell you to come back every 3 months or less for "follow up" checks. And of course, to maximize profit. 3) Bloodwork is done in their clinic which is convenient, but would charge additional for what is supposed to be 100% covered by insurance. 4) Will charge $30 for no-show, but will not send a single reminder either via text or email or call. And you can't dispute these charges. I wish I could also charge them for all the 'no-updates' and 'no-callbacks'. Already looking for a new Primary Doctor. Sigh.

We showed the details of our insurance plan to the receptionist when they tried to overcharge us. She told us she would call the insurance company to find out, but clearly didn't because she cane back 1 minute later and made us pay $1,200 in order for them to perform the procedure for our 1 year old daughter. It was very stressful and we did not want to delay our daughter's procedure so we paid the amount they requested. After the procedure, we called our insurance company and they confirmed we were overcharged. The rep from the insurance company called the office and the office then issued us a refund. The receptionist we dealt with acted disgruntled about issuing the refund and at the end of the call said "I'm glad we were able to help you out", even though they overcharged us in the first place. For over two weeks, I have been going back and forth between the pharmacy, my health insurance company, and the office simply trying to obtain my glucose test strips. Unfortunately, this is not a one-time issue -- this happens every time I need refills. I have made countless calls to the office, my insurance company, and the pharmacy. My pharmacist has also contacted the office directly and expressed frustration with the ongoing delays and lack of resolution. Multiple insurance representatives have contacted the office while I was on hold and repeatedly explained that a prior authorization was required. Each time, I was told the authorization would be submitted. One representative from the office, Kathleen, specifically informed me that the prior authorization had already been submitted and that the office was simply waiting for a response from the insurance company. However, after speaking again with my insurance company the following day, I was informed that no prior authorization had actually been submitted. This was extremely frustrating and concerning, especially after being told otherwise. Today, the same process happened again. A representative from my insurance company contacted the office while I was on hold and spoke with someone named Jackie, who was faxed the prior authorization form again because the office stated they did not have the forms that had previously been sent by several other insurance representatives. Unfortunately, this is the same thing I have been hearing since last week, yet the issue still remains unresolved. Unfortunately, this was my first negative experience with the care I received following a procedure Dr.Patel and the anesthesiologist were both excellent. They were professional, attentive, and made me feel comfortable throughout the procedure. Dr. Patel was also informed of the negative encounter I experienced afterward and was very supportive and responsive to my concerns, which I greatly appreciated While I was in the PACU recovering from my procedure, Nurse Jean attempted to assist me with getting up. I informed her that my arm was hurting and that I was unable to move my left arm\. Despite expressing my pain and concerns, I felt that my concerns were disregarded, and she continued insisting that I sit up in a manner that I experienced as aggressive and rude. I directly informed Nurse Jean that I felt she was being aggressive and rude and requested assistance from another nurse. Given that I had just undergone a procedure and was experiencing pain and difficulty moving my arm, I expected my concerns to be acknowledged and handled with greater patience, care, and compassion. Following this encounter, Nurse Jen, who assisted me in the Rejuvenation/Recovery area of the PACU, and Jan, the Director of Nursing, provided assistance. Both were very professional, attentive, compassionate, and respectful. I sincerely appreciate the care and professionalism they demonstrated following such an upsetting experience. Having received care at the Endo Center since 2012 without a negative experience like this, I was particularly disappointed by this encounter. I want to emphasize that the remainder of the staff, including the front desk staff, Dr. Patel, the anesthesiologist, Nurse Jen, and Jan, the Director of Nursing, provided excellent and professional care. I hope my concerns regarding my interaction with Nurse Jean are taken seriously and appropriately reviewed so that patients recovering from procedures are listened to and treated with patience, respect, and compassion, particularly when they communicate that they are experiencing pain or difficulty moving.
