They have surprisingly good range of parts and brands in stock even for older models and same day access to almost anything else from the warehouse. Manager usually works the phones and counter and is very forthcoming providing all the brand and price options.They carry many of the off-brand lines you see in online parts catalogues (Standard, Spectra, Crown, OES Genuine) at prices very pretty to online stores but with added convenience of same day pickup and dealing locally for things like claims or core returns. I've installed a couple of Spectra Ignition coils from them for a great price, a Moog Control Arm-Ball Joint unit and they had in stock a specific NGK Laser Platimum plug which was a special order in all other stores. All have held up well over time removing any suspicion about the authenticity & fitness of the products. While I still consider 747 Auto Parts to be the gold standard in direct-to-consumer parts (given the near demise of NAPA as a retailer) Best Way is also a really good option for consumers who get their own parts in the north-east quarter of the GTA.

I had my car checked with them Nov. 22 to get my car checked because of rumbling noise. They said…read moresince I need to replace front wheel bearings, might as well change the whole assembly.After all said and done, I got my car keys after 2.3 hours of labor(5 hours waiting total) I started my car. to my surprise all dash lights are on. they took it back in and admitted that they broke the ABS sensors so it was also replaced by them. ABS light is on again now and they said it was not their fault. I tried to ask, if there is something they can do since Nov. 22 I just paid 800$. and for them to say that I have to pay another possible-2-hours-diagnostics 95$ / hour is just a little too much. Quite frankly, I do understand that it is still a business. However, if business provides customer satisfaction which leads to further referrals and I believe that I cannot say that for Japan Auto parts / Transmission Depot. I tried to ask if I can speak to the owner (Bruce) and ask if he can help out. But he was either not present or the staff does not want me to speak to him. Summary : paid 800$ for whole hub assembly that could have been avoided just by replacing the wheel bearings alone. They broke (and admit) that they broke my ABS sensor which they replaced (improperly). Which made them bring my car back in all in the same day. in less than a month my car have ABS problem again (code 1142), and for them to say it is not their fault and it not being related to what they fixed may be true. But at the same time with the track record they provided it is just hard to trust them.

Oberoi (Manager/Owner) says "in purchasing parts from Partsmart the job only needs to be done…read moreonce." Not exactly a true statement. I had a very frustrating ordeal with Mr.Hunar Oberoi. I purchased brake rotors and pads from this shop, which resulted in being defective. Mr.Hunar Oberoi had a difficult time honouring the warranty, and took a firm stance on blaming the mechanic shop, although his staff member Marlin had previously accepted full responsibility for the parts which he had sold me! The shop will be very happy to service you as a buying customer, but be warned if you have to go through their warranty system, as they will use every excuse in the book NOT to honour warranty claims. At the end, the shop owner made me pay extra for the parts that were still under warranty, and made false claims to justify his actions. Hopefully this review will make consumers more cautious when it comes to dealing with this shop.
