March 9, 2018 There was a massive hail storm in our area in February 2017 and our entire area was affected. It was devastating and we had so much damage. This is never something any homeowner wants to deal with. We would walk around our neighborhood and see all the houses with signs in their yards for the companies they chose to do the work on their homes. We overwhelmingly saw a lot of Cardinal Catastrophe signs which led us to call them. We were so impressed with Angela and her willingness to help. She came right out and met with us and was not pushy at all and we appreciated that. She went above and beyond trying to get us the most out of this horrible experience. She walked around with us and assessed everything and caught much more than our initial insurance adjuster had and that was huge for us. Cardinal Catastrophe replaced our roof, gutters, and much of our siding. There was a small section of siding that was damaged prior to the storm, and they replaced that for us as well. They repainted our deck also and it looks amazing! Angela was able to work directly with our insurance company to get the additional costs covered, not making us worry about it. I can't tell you what a relief that was. We even had these hand painted/decorated, one of a kind Adirondack chairs that were damaged and she found someone to re do them and we were beyond excited! Cardinal Catastrophe was the perfect company to take care of the damage to our house following a bad hail storm. We had zero experience with filing this type of insurance claim and Cardinal helped us navigate the process every step of the way. A representative drove to our house and met with us soon after we called and took care of all the necessary paperwork and contact with the insurance company. Our project manager was incredibly knowledgeable, respectful and quick to respond. She kept us updated as the materials were ordered, delivery times and workers on the premises since I work mid shifts with many different groups working on the roof, siding, gutters, downspouts and garage door. Cardinal provided amazing service from start to finish after a hail storm. I was impressed with their ability to triage and multitask given that I had called them for help at a frenzied time when a large area was getting roof replacements due to the storm. Everyone at the office I spoke with was helpful, courteous, and responsive. They were generally able to handle my inquiry same-day but would give accurate time-lines if not. The process included a whole-house inspection, Cardinal meeting with our insurance adjuster and advocating for our claim, a meeting with Cardinal to go over what work would and wouldn't be done, and the work itself in varying stages. Cardinal coordinated the insurance claim process entirely so we didn't have to worry about that aspect at all. They completed all work from the roof to garage, gutters, window flashing, lights, and other areas damaged by the hail. Our project manager was available by text and was lightning fast at responding. I contacted Cardinal Catastrophe Services last week to schedule an appointment for them to give me a bid on my roof. We sustained tremendous hail damage, and saw their sign in some ones yard, and called. The lady that answered the phone said she would pass my information on to the project manager, and he would call me to make arrangements. Did not hear from them for 5 days, and one morning I was on my way out the door to go to work, and what did I see? Their truck in my driveway, and someone on my roof! On my property and roof without notification. I asked them to schedule an appointment, for I prefer to be home when people are coming in. I called that afternoon to discuss this with the manager, and no one answered the phone. I left a message, and that took 2 days to be returned. Actually, I received a voicemail on my cell phone without it actually ringing. The message stated that they don't give bids...........only willing to match and accept insurance numbers. Not sure if they do good work, but I will say their approach is rather disturbing and unorthodox. read more

Back in November, 2017, we had a very bad hail storm hit our area. We had damage to our roof, gutters, screens, deck and siding. We had to choose a company to help us with our damaged house. Had a really bad experience with a big time used car sales type roofer that rhymes with John Squeal in the past for my mom in laws roofing job. Really low rent tacktics. This time we used Cardinal to install our roof and handle the State Farm claim. Free timberline upgrade and this cool water proof felt or under gaurd. They know their stuff. All A++. As we learned more about the way they handle construction and the claim, it was kinda cool standing back and letting them do it all. I will absolutely be calling Cardinal Catastrophe Services again when needed. With the recent storms, I came home from work only to find leaks coming through my ceiling. Within 30 minutes of calling Cardinal Catastrophe Services, Ed and Aaron were knocking on my door and climbing on the roof to assess and contain the situation. They then provided me with photos and video of an incorrect setup and flashing that had been previously installed.
