Needed a coffee pick me up and stumbled upon this cafe. On the smaller side but very warm and inviting. We ordered at the counter - Rex Latte with the caramelo casero and a cold brew. This was the best latte I've had so far in my trip. I am dreaming of stopping in tomorrow for another latte. Perfectly sweetened and with the option of oat milk which I loved. My partner loved his cold brew and almond croissant. We ordered at the counter to go and service was quick. They have some tables and free WiFi so could be a great coworking space. We even saw a group learning Spanish which was very cool. read more

Cardinal is one of those consistent, safe bets in Mexico City. In a city where there's a constant influx of cafes and coffee shops, it's nice to have a spot you know is going to do coffee consistently well. The shop itself if quaint and cozy so it tends to be full. If you're planning on working from here you may want to plan to take it to go as backup. They do have a couple tables outside. It's conveniently located near some of the bigger parks, so it's the perfect stop to refuel. read more

With its chill and lazy atmosphere and open-aired seating, it also will serve as an ideal hangout spot or relaxing morning before you embark on your day's wanderings. I had an excellent Cortado here one morning and enjoyed it street-side. Very enjoyably robust and rich. I also bought Gesha coffee beans at an excellent price. I have been obsessed with the incredibly strong floral aroma of these beans and am sad the bag is almost gone. I will not hesitate to pick up more on my next visit! read more

Consistently the BEST coffee I've had in Mexico City and maybe even ever. Very, very few places in the States are this good. They're extremely focused on quality. Every espresso puck is measured perfectly. What I mean by Perfect coffee: deliciously strong coffee notes with none of the excessive acidity or bitterness. The cold latte shaken with their HOMEMADE caramel and soy milk tastes like melted coffee ice cream. Also, doesn't hurt that they have some of the fastest and most reliable internet too if you're trying to get any work done. I LOVE this adorable cafe on Córdoba!! It was the very first place we went after we had arrived in DF after dropping our stuff off at the Airbnb down the same street. I had a cold brew that was magnificent. We stopped by a few more times on our next few days. I had a latte another time and a really lovely cup of chemex. The place is tiny, but really cozy and the decor and atmosphere are fantastic. The baristas are lovely. We had 2 of the possibly most attractive hipsters in Roma make our coffees and not only were they easy on the eyes, but very nice (especially when we fumbled our Spanish a little.) If I lived in Roma, I would without doubt be a very regular regular! read more

Enjoyed a delicious hot tea at Cardinal when I visited Mexico City! The menu was easy to follow and the baristas were patient with my lack of Spanish-speaking abilities. There was a moderate amount of seating with multiple 1-3 person tables both inside and outside and one larger circular table inside. The patrons ranged from cool and chatty millennials to quiet elderly couples reading together, and the shop overall felt cool and welcoming. If you're in the area and in need of some caffeine I would definitely give this place a shot! read more

Great coffee shop. I am in grad school so I am constantly on the prowl for great places to hang out with a good vibe and coffee. This place did not disappoint. Great seating inside and out, fast wifi, and a great selection of coffee and snacks. I had a chemax coffee prepared cold and it was delicious. Normally I add a little sugar and cream to my coffee (especially when it is cold) but this had such a great flavor I didn't need to add anything to it. The shops esthetic is very nice and the tables along the sidewalk make for a pleasant place to spend some time. My twin bro told me this was his fav. spot for a cappucino in roma norte, so I decided to go try it out. The interior was a great place to chill, with a bunch of couches and tables, and even 2 tables outside. I started my order in broken spanish "Cappucino, por favor" and got a reply "would you like milk with that". Fortunately for me, the cappucino was better then my spanish accent and I enjoyed chilling inside with the wifi and drinking it. If i come back to roma norte I will sample some of there other coffee drinks, for 38 pesos it was a pretty good deal. read more

Wow this place is wildly good for someone living/working freelance in the city. Some of the best internet and coffee I've had, with friendly service who never make you feel unwelcome for planting for a while and getting stuff done. Have tons of coffee options (tried a ton, all of which are amazing), but I'd recommend the French Press. As for food, only tried the almond croissant but it's also one of the best pastries I've had in the city. read more
