One hour before he was supposed to show up, the electrician calls to tell me that, "due to things", he was not able to complete this simple, straightforward job on time. That is either laziness or contactor-speak for "I'm just not interested". In fact, I'm fairly sure that he entirely forgot about our Saturday meeting and that he had only called by chance.
