The man who runs the storage facility, Bill, was very professional, friendly, personable and was very helpful. I had called a few minutes before their closing time and Bill stayed on the phone and worked with me past their closing time to assist me in completing my order. The price was reasonable, very clean facility, well-lit after hours, clean bathroom for customers, and they had flatbed dollies in the halls for their customers to use. Bill also recommended to me their in-house moving company, Distinctive Moving and Storage, to move my belongings from the storage unit to my home garage. The move from the storage unit to my home garage was flawless. After dealing with a nightmare out of state move for months, it was a welcome change to work with Bill and not experience any issues whatsoever. Great example of top notch customer service. Their customer service line is nearly impossible to reach, they don't have the amenities that Cubesmart offered when they managed the building (free use of moving truck!), and they consistently up the rent without notice or remorse. Since this place transitioned from Cubesmart, the prices have gone up an INSANE amount. My bill for the storage unit I moved in for was $60/month and once Public Storage took over, it went up to about $100. i wanted to get a slightly larger unit (old one is 10x7 new one is 10x12) to house things temporarily while we moved and it was about $150, which I thought was a ~little~ expensive but went for it anyway for convenience since the old one is in the same building. The rent for just the newer unit is $200 dollars now, due to Public Storage steadily increasing rent rates, and I'm trying to get tf out of this place.

Items were covered with mouse droppings and cockroach droppings. We opened everything in the driveway of our new home because they were infested with roaches. We washed/sanitized the things that were washable before bringing them indoors but many items went straight into the builder's dumpster. When I closed my account, I went back to the unit and took photos of the wet floor and all the mouse/roach droppings. Totally disgusting.

And everything that was in that large climate controlled unit are exposed to mold spores. I have to now wipe and clean everything. my unit has lacked climate control many times and after repeated calls, no one returned my call. When the climate control was repaired one of the times, I did get a phone call from someone telling me that the heat was turned on by accident! When I explained to her the issues I was having in my unit with mold and dampness and that boxes were collapsing because of it, she told me that does not happen to cardboard boxes and she told me I was an ungrateful customer and she hung up on me. That lady needs an education! Do not use public storage! Even the local property manager does not call you back. It should be the property manager's job to check and be sure that the AC unit is working every single day for those they are collecting money on climate controlled rentals.

That is a $180 increase in 9 months (December 2024 to September 2025). I just wish my income would follow the same trends. Clearly, they don't want you to stay and will squeeze you until you leave. That is too bad as I am storing mostly books and Models that will not rot or attract any pests. When I move out, I wish them someone who will store nasty and dirty stuff. They truly deserve it.

I use that word very lightly, because he wasn't helpful at all. It took over 30 mins to pick up the truck that I had reserved online. He was completely rude and wasn't in a rush to help at all! Coming here, you better not be in a rush, because he moves at his own pace. Not only was the gas tank empty (contract said it was 3/4 full) but I had to go inside and grab my own dollies that we supposed to be in my rental. Then later that day I called to get some questions answered and he was completely rude on the phone. I will never use this place again. There are way too many other places around, that want your business!
