I was looking at the other reviews on this business and I really did not want to go here to purchase anything. But on my way to dropping my father at the airport, we made a stop to get some Scrubs. The gal who was alerted by my father and I talking was very courteous and answered my first question on if one was allowed to try on the scrubs (hesitant because of the pandemic and I ended up wearing a mask, while putting all the ones I tried on, on). I was able to find shirts that fit and one scrub pant. Apparently, this store can order more of the same pant. One thing I would suggest is to try and sell the uniforms as a set instead of as individuals. If someone orders one or the other part of the uniform, have them at the front and immediately make the transaction and then order more of the same. It is kind of inconvenient to have one part and not the other. I am still awaiting the order for my Scrub pant and this may make some room for error and so I will watch the customer service of this place closely. She did state that I was not going to be charged for the delivery to the store (because she had to order it) and I could either pay today or when it came in. I ended up choosing to pay when I actually see it. It is also a nice touch that they have a card where every purchase one gets closer to a 50% off any type of Scrub (the most expensive). I do not think I will ever have to purchase that many, but it definitely saves money in the long run. read more

I took a few days to review this business because the experience was so negative I wanted to remove myself from the situation before responding. I walked to the counter to purchase a single pair of scrubs. An older lady, I assume a manager or owner based on what follows, was behind the counter. On my approach to checkout, I noticed a pair of UK collegiate scrubs, in black. I wanted to buy a pair in blue for my sister in Florida for her birthday. As I was being checked out, I began to ask the lady about the scrubs, and if they had them in UK blue. Her IPhone rang. She cut me off mid-sentence, walked away and began taking a bulk order from a hospital. Now I understand she was gonna make more money from that order. However I was a pleasant customer that walked in to buy a pair, and to do something nice for my sister. And that's the problem. I was small potatoes. Many of you reading this will empathize. Hospitals aren't run by doctors or administration. They're run by us. And we don't buy scrubs in bulk. I was treated like a nobody. This place won't go out of business based on this review, however maybe you'll buy your single pairs somewhere else. There's a few stores in town, and there's always online. We sacrifice so much as healthcare workers. Odd shifts, holidays, on-call. To be treated like minions by Cardinal Scrubs when using our own hard-earned money to buy scrubs so we can do our unappreciated jobs just adds insult to injury. And to Cardinal Scrubs, this is Wildcat Country. And the big hospitals are staffed with little nobodies like me. read more

I want to first start this review with that I usually do not review businesses. This business has one problem that is personnel related. It is a problem that needs correction and has apparently gone on unabated since reviewed last by a fellow Yelper. Yes, I too experienced the "older lady"...her name is Pat. If you call, if you stop in if you still decide to do business here then avoid this employee. SHE IS NOT THE FACE OF CARDINAL SCRUBS!!! This is the story of how one person failed a business, but those I spoke with afterward made me feel as if it was a family business and not a big corporate machine. I had two interactions with Pat. The first was in returning a pair of scrubs that did not fit. Tags were on the merchandise and they had not been worn or laundered. I told her I wanted to exchange them and she acted if I was a huge inconvenience. When I asked where the Men's section was for a particular employer she waved to and said, "back there." OHHH I'm sorry to ask but do you mean amongst all the scrubs in the freaking store the best customer service you can give me is "back there"???? Another employee saw me looking and asked if I needed help. I told her what I wanted and that another brand that I rely on no longer fits. She helped me get one of each scrub from every brand to try on! Wow now that is customer service! I found a new brand, she told me about the brand and even said her rep from that brand was just there. Next back to Pat at the register to check out. The exchange was so complex I thought I was trying to figure out a problem from Biochemistry using Trigonometry. I needed to have a concise receipt that I could use for tax time. Eventually, I gave up, took my exchange and ordered a second pair. At this time I was told it would arrive within the time specified that I'd need a second set. Over a week later I called back to check on my order. Guess who answered the phone? Yep it was the delightful Pat. She had no idea when my scrubs would be in, had no helpful information and worse...I felt as a customer that I was highly inconveniencing a business for wanting to spend my money in their establishment!!!! If I had not needed these scrubs and had time to buy online I would have canceled my order and came back to pick up a refund. Now we come to the story of redemption. I walked in right after they opened today to pick up my order that came in. Linda Bower assisted me and was so delightful. She was with another customer, asked if she could help and made sure the other customer was taken care of before leaving to attend to my order. What someone is professional, courteous and thankful for business here. She secured my order and listened to some concerns I had and was more than glad to give me her name. She did not know I was going to write a review that said she saved her business a customer and one that touches two major hospitals and a college. Rosemary Gibson was the next person I talked to as I requested to speak with a manager. I told Rosemary that I was thankful for how nice and attentive Linda was...furthermore I told her of Pat...notice I do not have her last name...Rosemary apologized for the employee and said that is not what they want to be as a business. She talked to me in length and assured me she was going to attend to the matter. So together these two ladies saved a lot of word of mouth business. My suggestion...avoid Pat and ask for either Linda or Rosemary. Both will treat you like you are worth their time and will be glad to assist in any fashion. It is rare to find the kind of service they can provide. Sadly it takes only one bad apple to wreck a reputation. I would have given a 4 star rating if it were not for Pat. I never write reviews, but I had such a negative experience with this store, I had to give others fair warning. If you're seeking a uniform store with friendly service, steer clear of Cardinal Uniforms. This place is staffed with the most unfriendly, stuck up, and unprofessional employees. They treated me as though I was a nuisance to their day. They were disrespectful to the fullest extent. I'll never be so foolish as to spend another dollar in this store. I recommend taking your money to Scrub World. The staff at Scrub World have these folks beat by a long shot, and they would be grateful and appreciative of your business. I bought a product from them that turned out to be broken and when I went to exchange it with my receipt in hand they wouldn't accept it even though I've been a loyal customer. I even came up to the counter with a few other items I was about to purchase with my return and they still wouldn't exchange it. I read the reviews before ordering scrubs from here and thought maybe I'd not be unlucky with this uniform store like others were. I special ordered two tops of a certain style that they had just not in a medium and a pair of petite bottoms. When the items came in they were not the correct style tops and size pants. They would not allow for a return without a receipt even though they had proof that I ordered it through them based on the order form. I am of course frustrated due to the incorrect order, but I'm writing a yelp review because of the lack of customer service that I received. I was in Cardinal Uniforms yesterday and have to say I'm quite surprised by the previous reviews for this store. I too was helped by Pat but I had a far different experience. I searched through the scrubs in the front and couldn't quite find any that fit how I wanted. Pat approached me and asked if I needed help. She helped me find a few more pairs to try on and once she found what the problem with the ones I had been trying were she helped me find a style of koi pant that I love! She even showed me the catalogue and offered to order a pair in another color. I only needed the one for today but I fully plan on going back to get another set. (Another pro was that they take 20% off all of their scrubs. That was a nice thing to find out at the register!) I don't write reviews for businesses but I was so taken back by the other reviews on here that I felt I needed to set the record straight! Pat was extremely helpful to be and amongst a busy store she took time to find exactly what I was looking for. Thank you Pat. I highly suggest Cardinal Uniforms from my experience there and I hope you overlook the previous reviews for this business. I was treated with nothing but kind and patient service.
