Daniel has been working on a huge remodel for me. I had a lot of mold and water damage and the amount of remodel work that had to be done was enormous and unexpected. He came in on the job after a few very bad contractors had worked on it. After those contractors, I was very wary and I questioned him about everything to find out if he really knew what he was talking about. He spent a long time talking to me in the beginning to make me feel comfortable about his work and he has worked with me closely throughout the whole process to help me understand what needs to be done and why it needs to be done. He had to fix several unresolved issues from the previous contractors. He found issues I didn't know about that they left behind that would have caused major problems. When he removed subfloor in which the wrong size was put in, he found rotten floor joists. One of them was attached to the boards forming the floor of my shower and it crumbled in my hands. The whole shower would've fallen in if he hadn't found this. His determination to do things the right way has saved me a lot of trouble, time and money. Even when it meant a lot more work for him, he refused to cut corners and he did what needed to be done. The quality of his work and his extensive expertise is amazing and really hard to find around the Ozarks. He has done everything at that house from replacing bad floor joists, installing flooring, building a shower from the ground up with extensive waterproofing, installing a toilet and sinks, installing cabinets, building custom closets, caulking, painting, building built-in shelves and cabinets, extending out my heat and air ducts into another room, lots of plumbing and electrical, installing a bathroom fan, light and ceiling fan installation, venting a stove to the outside, installing and fixing appliances, building a custom bed, installing doors and closet doors, drywall installation, texturing my drywall, installing cabinet knobs, new hinges and door knobs, to fixing little things that are broken, uneven or not working correctly. If there is a problem he can figure out how to fix it. And if he thinks I'm making a mistake on something then he tells me and he lets me know why it may not work like I think it will, like recently when I bought a cabinet knob for my heavy sliding closet door and he let me know that it may not hold up and I may want to look at a different knob. There isn't anything in my house I would not trust him to work on. read more

More than a handyman. Cardinel is an expert in all things related to home repair. I hired him to repair broken bathroom tiles. He did an expert job on that as well as repairing a window and doing some minor plumbing work. Cardinel is a one stop shop. He has general knowledge for all sorts of household repairs. he demonstrated tremendous flexibility to work around my other repair jobs but I was subcontracting out at the time.
