This is a review based on my one year experience with Shawn and Andy at Shawn's archery…read more I started my journey into archery with one of their beginners lesson. It was both informative and fun. You learn the basics on Olympic recurve archery and range safety. This sets you up to be self independent if you decide to shoot at any other range. After taking the lesson I signed up for their weekly lessons to improve my skills. It's a long waiting list due to demand but worth the wait. Their weekly lessons are set up in a different format. They coach each student based on their goals and skill level. The do not separate students based on skills. Archery is a very inclusive sport and they model their class based on this principle. As a coach, both Shawn and Andy have been beyond supportive. If I needed some last min tuning help or equipment check they will make time out of class to help. They even offered me rides to local tournaments when I needed help with transportation. I could not have asked for a better coach.

Parking is the only negative. There are units nearby with signs saying reserved parking etc…read more If only this place had a private parking area. Other than that, it looked a bit small when you walk in the front door, but there is lots of space. Kids and adults had so much fun here! The staff is good with kids. 5stars for experience

Had a blast going here. Event was broken into three things: Archery tag, Nerf gun and dodgeball…read more Archery tag - You're given some practice shooting before going into the arena. I've done archery before so I finished this pretty quickly. If you're tall and/or have longer arms, I suggest getting the long bow (black). When playing, make sure your arm guard is securely attached. When you're running around, the arm guard can get loose and you'll injure yourself when shooting due to the whiplash. I know some people that bruised their arms this way. The matches can give you a rush when you're cornered and loading that last arrow. Nerf gun - This event was so so. Very early on, I realized the guns they had jammed very easily. Bullets don't fly that straight so I found that you had to run very close in order to get this shot. Sometimes when you get hit, you don't even realize since the impact is so soft, so this can be great for kids in terms of safety. Dodgeball - Great for cardio, working out your throwing arm and testing your reflexes. We played a few variations of the game such as having a medic that can revive down players, but once the medic is discovered and hit, the team loses. Make sure you're dressed appropriately and bring your own water!

Booked a day of Archery/Knife Throwing and Gun Shooting…read more Archery: Matteous was our instructor, the 1 he begin with us getting an explanation of the different archery equipment, followed by a lesson in how to perfect the technique. He took him time to explain and assured a lot the way. This was fun, a couple of bruises on the arm as we were still rookies 5/5. Gun shooting: pellets and BB gun. Now this was probably the funnest activity. Matteous was instructor, he explained all the safety features, techniques and let us be. It wasn't as easy as it looks. We spent the time shooting our target with two different guns. Knife throwing: probably my least favourite & probably the hardest activity to master during one session. Aaron was our instructor, did an excellent job as well stayed with us throughout the whole experience providing feedback the activity it self was a 3/5 experience for us. Overall, this facility also sells equipment along with lessons. The place itself could use a bit of tidying up. The room was filled with boxes and random miscellaneous items & a bit dusty. The staff was attentive. Highly recommend coming to check out.

I thought it was amazing that they had the coaching ability to help even those on wheel chairs. I liked how every staff member really enjoyed working there. you can feel the happy vibe. My sister and I organized a joint birthday celebration for 2 children. We were a party of 7 in…read moretotal. We chose the Combat games option which is a 1 hour block. It's $50 per adult and slightly less for children. You pay for one adult in advance to make the reservation, and the remainder the day of the event. You'll also need to sign waivers before you can participate. The facility is easily accessible just off the south side of Sheppard Avenue. There's adequate parking. You should make sure you check what room you're assigned to, because there are separate entrances around the building. You have to be buzzed in just before your slot. We arrived in time and were greeted by a staff who quickly confirmed our party and led us in. It was very efficient. We were asked to remove our shoes, and we were offered use of the foozball and billiard tables before we began. We were led through to our arean and the restrooms were pointed out to us before beginning. When we reached our assigned room, we had lockers (no locks) provided to us to store our belongings. Then we were ready to begin. Anna, our instructor, took over and explained the rules and equipment we'd be playing with. In addition to our bows and soft tip arrows, we were provided with helmets and arm guards. We were booked with another group of 7 or 8 players. You can reserve a private booking if you wish. The staff assisted with fitting our helmets properly, and demonstrated how to wear our arms guards and load and fire our bows. You can wear indoors only shoes if you bring them, but everyone just wore their socks. The sectioned room is the size of a small gym and the floors are similarly marked with zones. There are large, cushion "bunkers" and 2 sniper "towers" where players can take turns off the ground if they wish. We played a series of target games throughout our session. Anna clearly explained the rules for each set. It's moderately aerobic activity as you will be moving across the floor to target your opponents, and pick up arrows to keep using as you play. You also get sweaty from wearing the helmet. It was a great group activity. Kudos to Anna for keeping things organized and running smoothly. You don't need any prior experience, although it helps to know how to use your arm guard properly. Bruises inside my elbow notwithstanding, I'd love to come back for another round.

So. Much. Fun!!! I'm not from the area and we almost specifically came into town because of this…read moreplace. Wasn't sure what we were getting into but it exceeded our expectations! Came for a Bach party and had way too much fun. We had a hour of saber wars and another hour of archery. Playing both, we would play 10mins or so of mini games and challenges. Think games like capture the flag, or aiming for a target. We had a room to ourselves with little plush barriers as a shield. It sounded like other games were going (seems like many other rooms of fun!) Both games had safety gear and a guide who thoroughly explained the rules of how to not get hurt. Obviously if playing, you do need to be careful! My favorite was the archery! The arrows we shot had a marshmallow end so you wouldn't get hurt. So much fun! If you have the time, try it out!

For basic target practise I was looking for cheap arrows. Saw on their website 14.99 for 5. No description to specs. So I asked for that, learned it's for crossbow and not suitable for my compound bow. So I asked cheapest arrows. She pulls a box of 3 for $30. Yikes. I asked cheaper, she has 12 for $50 yikes. Disappointed with selection. But seems this store has some gun varieties at least. Would not recommend buying bows or accessories for archery here. Very limited selection.

DONT FORGET TO USE THE FOREARM BANDS THEY GIVE YOU. IF YOU REFUSE YOU CAN END UP WITH BRUISED FOREARM AS THE STRING SLAPS BACK ON YOUR SKIN. LOL

I've been to other bubble soccer places and this is by far the cleanest one which is definitely a huge positive. They really take the time to clean the bubbles which probably going through a decent amount of people in a week. Our group did nerf wars and bubble soccer which I would highly recommend to anyone looking into booking a slot. The staff were great, fun and super motivating while our group was there. Their attitude and welcoming personalities boosted our experience while we were there. 100% recommend to anyone.
