I was referred to Cardiology Now from my primary care doctor since he saw something in an EKG. The team at Cardiology Now was extremely professional. Dr. Mircea Petrina is an incredible doctor, and I highly recommend him and his staff. I was nervous at the possibility of needing an angioplasty procedure. Received good diagnostic test care. But billing did not follow-up with my 3rd insurance and turned the bill over to collections. I paid collections for the bill and they also received payment from insurance, refuses to pay back the money. Basically coming insurance fraud. I will never use them again. read more

Cardiology Now used to be great! I have been going there twice a year for echocardiograms for many years. Everything has changed. New (inferior) location, new (inferior) rules, new (inferior techs) and a new (inferior and rude) manager. I was called back in after my echo yesterday because the tech failed to get a couple of photos that the cardiologist needed (but they didn't tell me that was why at first, letting me stress and panic that something was wrong). The tech "Nicki" did promise that results would be available right away once I got this done. I went back, again I was promised by Nicki that the results would show up at the very latest by the end of the day. They didn't! I called and someone named Ireland finally told me that the tech (Nicki) made the error and that there was nothing wrong with me. Nicki made another error by telling me that I would get results today. I have to wait til tomorrow. In addition, Michelle (who I think is the manger) is so incredibly rude, and called me a liar--stating that I was told I wouldn't get results until tomorrow. Never going back! Oh, in addition, they now want you to put a credit card on file with them--I have no deductible or co-pay, no way was I going to do that, but at least the front desk woman was nice about it. read more

If I could give a 0 star I would! I went to this place after going to the emergency room three times, having heart palpitations, PVC's, fluttering and all kinds. I have been up all night numerous times and honeslty at this point I'm literally afraid to get into a deep sleep. Cardiology Now is a testing clinic, they are not legitimate physicians, they are a go-between but due to my situation this is where I had to start. They did an echo and some monitoring and when I finally came back in to talk about results and options after having continuous episodes. the "cardiologist" literally sat there and told me that from what she can see I'm perfectly healthy and that if these were her results she'd be happy. On my first visit I told her that I had been gaslighted by the hospital the first two times I went and finally spoke to someone who was giving me legit information and that's why I was there. Then she did the same thing. Honesty, if you're having REAL issues and you want to get to the bottom of it, I'd skip this place and go to either a real doctor or a liegitimate holistic practitioner, honestly a shaman might even be better than this place. They may reply and say I got upset and honestly dam right I did! I could have handled it better, but Im SO SICK of the medical community either gaslighting people, not digging in to find out root causes, randomly writing perscriptions like they're throwing things at the wall to see what sticks.. Im over it! The pharma-medical industry in this country needs a complete overhaul! Then i tried to call back and express the gaslighting and perhaps not gaslighting people would be better and I'm still the bad guy - that's okay.. I'll be the bad guy if it helps someone else not get gaslighted.. if it helps someone else sit in that chair and instead of hearing . . looks like you're in perfect health to me, if I had these results I'd be happy - they hear something like - okay, these results aren't giving us insight into what's going on with you, lets discuss deeper dive options, if you are having issues, we need to get to the bottom of it Hope that helps someone somewhere.. it sounds like a rant, but Im just tired of the doctors telling us random things then we have to go home and try to figure it out ourselves while making payment arrangements for nothing. My primary doc sent me here to get an EKG. I'd never had one before and was a little apprehensive. Check in was easy as I completed the paperwork via the internet previous to the appointment. A beautiful, chatty and friendly woman named Berlin did my test. She made it all very easy going, fast and easy. Thank you, Berlin, for making a stressful situation pleasant. read more

0 stars. I spent several hours at this location and often felt forgotten in corners for hours. The practice ran many unnecessary tests, and when the insurance provider didn't cover them, I was stuck with the cost. The worst part was they didn't provide a readout or any evaluation of my heart health. Several months later I received about $1,000 in billing from this practice and a 3rd party I never heard. When I called to address that I didn't receive results from the testing, and wasn't comfortable with the amount of tests that were done, the practice manager (Michelle K.) called me to schedule a follow up call with a Dr. I took an hour off of work to take the call, but never received a call. I would avoid this practice due to poor practice management, provisioning unneeded services at patient expense, and a disregard for customer service. read more

They did a great job setting up and reminding about appt. I was surprised that despite this being a medical facility, the lobby was filthy. Floors were filthy, no way these had been washed recently. NO STARS - WORST HEALTHCARE PEOPLE I'VE EVER MET. I went in for an echocardiogram. Was rudely told I had to give a credit card. I told her my out-of-pocket was met so no copay is needed and I was concerned about credit card fraud. She snapped that I need to give the card or leave. I asked for the number of the person whose policy this is. Another person behind the desk snapped that it is her policy. After the same back and forth, and being told repeatedly to not argue with her, with her I presented my credit card, with protest, and was told I wouldn't be seen and to leave. I left with some choice words for their treatment of me. read more

I think they are adequate for EKG's but not sure about Stress Cardiograms. I used them for my stress test because they could get me in much sooner then my cardiologist, but it came back inconclusive. I question the tech's adequacy but don't know for sure. He maybe was having a bad day. Staff was friendly and wait times were minimal. I would definitely recommend them for an EKG. read more

Timeline: Sunday, I go to your urgent care feeling heart murmurs. They take my vitals and perform 2 EKG tests. They refer me to your cardiologist. No one asks or makes any mention of covid in any form or manner. Monday I call cardio office and they don't have the referral. I call the urgent care and it goes to busy signal I fax the referral myself from the copy I was given on Sunday I call back after several hours and make an appointment for 1 week. I express how lousy I feel. Still no mention of covid Tuesday cardio calls and says there was a cancellation and I can come in Wednesday The word covid is never mentioned. Wednesday I Uber to the office and after they call me in the woman asks if I've had a covid test or else I cant talk to the cardiologist. Here is my point, make sure you ask about covid before you waste your time going there. I would think they would state to every patient to get a covid test before arriving. Its as if I was their first patient in a year. read more

This place is horrible. I came in to get tests for surgical clearance. They wanted me to do tests that I knew I didn't need and I told them this. They said everything was on file and would not listen. Two weeks later, I had to go back for the tests I really needed. I know they pressured me to get these tests for the money. I tried many times to discuss what happened and the insane amount they want me to pay, but I can't get a hold of them. Recently I received a letter from them in the mail threatening to send collectors after me if I don't pay up. The letter was dated for the 3rd and said I had 10 days to take action after receiving it. Before I even got this letter, on the 6th. They drained my bank account. What they've done has to be illegal but it would take time and cost just as much money to go to court. Their value for money over human life as an established health company disgusts me. read more

I started my rehab and only got 5 sessions in before Covina shut everything down. They called me when things were opening and asked if I wanted to continue. I said absolutely! The office staff is wonderful and know me by name and Chris is wonderful in our sessions!! read more

In a word, Outstanding! I had a surgery scheduled rather quickly which means I needed to get a pre-operative clearance done ASAP. The scheduler, Eric got everything set up for me and sent me the forms to fill out to save time in the office so I could bring the completed forms with me. The owner, Michele, got involved and personally followed up with me to let me know all the details were handled. I honestly felt like I was receiving the VIP treatment! The got me scheduled the next day, coordinated with my primary care physician and my neurosurgeon, got the insurance pre-authorized...basically got things done in lightning speed. I showed up for my visit in pain due to a cyst in my backbone. I showed up two hours early and they still managed to work me in and get me out pretty fast. They were very kind, understanding, thorough and professional. The cardiologist, Dr. Husain, was top notch, reviewed my medical history, examined me, and made sure I was safe to have the surgery. He ordered an ECHO, which was performed onsite. Victor, was very accommodating and assisted me in getting through the procedure with the least back pain possible. The final report and medical clearance were sent to my neurosurgeon that evening. These people treated me like I was family. Why do I mention their names? That's the impression they made on me.
