The incredibly rude nurse came out, when we asked if they can do stitches there, to look at his foot and told us he would "need to hold still" for them to do stitches. #1. Have they NEVER treated children?! #2 I sternly let her know that he needed to be given SOME SORT of pain management, and she gave terrible attitude saying they wouldn't sedate him. We are at an urgent care. I'm not simple enough to believe they would hook him up to an IV for stitches. I was talking about lidocaine. Like anyone with half a brain cell would. #3 They would NOT treat a 4 YEAR OLD CHILD WITHOUT A $249 PAYMENT FIRST. We tried paying multiple times with cards that had at least 10x the needed balance each and *SOMEHOW* they got rejected every time. Absolutely disgusting. The provider claimed that they could not verify my insurance because THEIR system is down so they would REQUIRE me to keep a card on file. Oh, HELL NO! I never leave a card on file. Ever. We have always had great care here. A couple of months ago, I went in with some concerning BP and headache symptoms. The NP came in and told me that they couldn't treat me there and I needed to go to the ER. She said they would give me back my copay since they weren't able to see me. They did, credited back my debit. Now for almost 3 months I am getting a bill from them. I have called both the local office and the corporate offices multiple times, given them all of the info I have and they see the debit returned. But no one will get back to me with any resolution on the bill. I'm running out of ideas. This is the first review I have ever left anywhere and it's really just with hope they will reach out to make this right. Normally I would give them 5 stars but right now I just can't. They looked at my shoulder and gave me a sling. I got 2 separate bills, one for the urgent care and one for the sling The sling (identical to one I could get at Walgreens for $30) was billed as $121.70. I called OnPoint billing -- they said the company that provided the sling (I got the sling at OnPoint) was a totally separate company. I called DJO (sling provider) and asked why it cost $121.70 for a $30 sling. They said that they charge "What Medicare says we should charge". I stated that I wasn't on Medicare. They stated that they are a Medicare provider and charge what "Medicare says we should charge". If I would've known, I could've just walked in yesterday. What an absolute waste of time. I should've read reviews before making an appointment with this place. What a great experience, and yes at an urgent care!!! This is without a doubt in the top two of all urgent cares that I have visited as both a patient and patient support. One person in front of me. Waited 2 hours to get through a process that took all of 5 minutes of actual engagement. Front reception was rude to the man in front of me, myself, and the woman behind me. The woman behind me called her on it, waited an hour and left. Gentleman in front of me made it all the way back to the exam room, and then left and asked for a refund. All the while the "staff" in the back giggles and carried on conversations as if they had nothing going on. I went to this urgent care last week and was diagnosed with Covid. I went back today because I've had a cough and shortness of breath upon walking. I get there and check in with the receptionist who was nice, then asked to wait in the car as their usual protocol. I then get a call from a Jose or Joseph (I can't remember his name, a Hispanic dude with tattoo all over his arms), he is one of the assistants and he states he has to ask me some questions. He asks what I need to be seen for so I tell him about the shortness of breath. He asks how long and I told him the last couple days. He then begins to belittle me and shame me for waiting for 2 days and proceeds to ask me why am I there and why didn't I go see my primary care doctor instead. As if I was an inconvenience to him. He then tells me to come in to room 2. As I walk in, he is opening the door and I confront him about how rude and unprofessional he was to me. He not only raises his voice at me but also gets defensive and Continues to talk to me disrespectfully and is dang near yelling at me in the hallway because I called him out on his poor treatment towards me. I could not believe the way he was treating me. He is definitely working in the wrong field. The other male nurse (guy with glasses) is sweet as pie, kind, compassionate, professional and takes his time to explain everything to you. I've dealt with this 2nd nurse in particular, a few times and he always been so wonderful. This other male nurse, he needs to be let go. Who shames patients and talks to them so disrespectfully? The service that we received at this urgent care was great. They were able to see us just before closing and diagnosed my son with an ear infection. Leah was great - she even helped me find a 24 hour pharmacy so we could start my son on an antibiotic immediately. This review is for the billing team only. My husband received a bill and paid it on 12/31 directly from our bank account. However, the team is unable to locate this payment despite the fact that I sent a receipt of payment, with an authorization code. I spoke with Brandon, Tanya, and the manager Cassandra. None of these individuals showed any interest to find my payment that just said "we are looking and we can't find it". I called and spoke with my bank and the money was in fact withdrawn and not rejected or sent back. I've done everything I can to help to find this payment and the staff has be unresponsive and unhelpful. read more

Apparently, i had previously left a great review of this place but that was 6 years ago. After my son's experience there yesterday, I wish I could retract that because it was definitely not the same standard of care that we received as in the past. We waited in the car for 3 hours and when I called after an hour and 1/2, we were told they couldn't reach my son on his phone for some reason. It wasn't taking calls but texts were fine. Couldn't they have used that mode of communication? When he finally got seen for his (extremely)sore throat, they did a rapid strep and COVID test, and basically said go home and drink water. No prescription for pain (OTC meds were not touching this pain) & when he walked back in to inquire if the dr was going to give him one, the receptionist rudely said something to the effect of, "you can't keep coming in here and infecting everything." I am seven months pregnant and fully vaccinated but came into contact with someone who tested positive for Covid. I went to the urgent care to get a test to ensure I hadn't contracted it, especially given how far along I am in my pregnancy. I told the doctor that I was notified an unvaccinated coworker tested positive and that's why I was being tested. The doctor proceeded to continuously speak down to me for assuming just because someone isn't vaccinated doesn't mean they're necessarily a bigger risk. And that people are relying too much on the media for their information. Basically shaming me for mentioning this person's lack of vaccination status. First off - did I mention I'm 7 months pregnant and I'm feeling overly cautious?? Not the time to try and school me on making mention of this. And I obviously know the vaccine isn't bulletproof or I wouldn't be here getting tested. Additionally, I don't get my facts or beliefs from the news - I happen to have medical professionals in my family and immediate friend group, I read, and I listen to the advice of my own doctors. I did NOT appreciate this doctor's assumption of my knowledge or beliefs surrounding Covid or the vaccine based on one comment I believed to potentially be helpful in tracking who is getting and spreading the virus. I feel it was highly inappropriate and after thinking on it for 24 hours decided to post this. I was there to get tested. Nothing more. Third time visiting this Urgent Care, this time (unfortunately) without insurance. I fainted and hit my head pretty badly, leaving a huge gash on my forehead. Tried to let it close up on its own, but soon realized I needed it professionally closed. I walked in and it is typically never too busy, the receptionist let someone know right away and I was taken back immediately. I received 6 staples to the head, and it didn't even hurt. The doctor did a fantastic job, was personable, and made me feel at ease. Same thing with the tech and nurse. Without insurance everything was only $250. Changed a potentially scary situation into a "we got this, don't worry" - without making you feel like a burden. Will definitely be returning for urgent care matters if needed. read more

My family has used this particular OnPoint Urgent Care on a number of occasions. (How is it that we always need a doctor on weekends or after hours?! :) ) We usually see Dr. Emilie Rogg, who is super knowledgeable, efficient, compassionate and has a great sense of humor. She even set my mom's hand bones after she had broken it and was great in giving advice for the most economic sling options. We've taken our son there since he was 2 and got nursemaid's elbow from slipping on ice in daycare, they set it up in a jiffy and he left smiling, holding a balloon! Just last weekend they saw my son (now 6.5 years old) who was complaining of sore throat and Allison swabbed him and the quick test proved strep positive, they sent us home with antibiotics, he was feeling fine again by the next day. The cost of the visit is not a lot more than a regular doctor visit (I have high deductible with HSA insurance so I have to pay for the visit, rather than a co-pay, as I used to when I had PPO insurance), and they can see you right away. Use the online check-in to save a bit of time and save your spot in line. The reason i decided to leave a review is that today i was positively shocked when Allison called and left a voice message to check on how my son was doing, if his symptoms have lessened and if he was getting better. I've never received this kind of service from his regular pediatrician, let alone from an Urgent Care clinic that we occasionally visit. In August I had injured my knee and was unable to walk without severe pain. It was a Sunday and my PCP was closed, so I went to OnPoint Urgent Care. I was seen by Jessica Brown, who was very professional and thorough. She ordered x-rays, provided me with a knee immobilizer and submitted a referral for an MRI. She also made a note for the results to go to my orthopedist since I would be seeing him once the results from the imaging was available. When OnPoint received the results for my MRI, Jessica called me personally to go over the results in detail, answering any questions I had. This really helped me understand what was going on as well as prepare me for the visit with my orthopedist. I received great care from Jessica, and really appreciated her thoroughness and phone call to explain the results. Thank you! read more

Upon arrival to the Lone Tree Acute Care center I was pleasantly surprised to find a warm and inviting waiting room / lobby. The waiting room had the following key highlights: * Complimentary tea and hot cocoa * Complimentary coffee (individual servings, not cheap stuff) * Complimentary WiFi (I'm using that right now to post my Yelp experience) * Complimentary cable T.V., reading material and toys for children to play with * Complimentary hand sanitizer and protective face masks The staff that greeted me at the front door was extremely helpful and provided free pretzels out of a large container that appeared to have been purchased at a wholesale store such as Costco. This really helped my cousin to feel better while he waited his turn to be seen by the medical staff. The staff must have known that we were visiting from the Bay Area and provided us with a complimentary ESPN "Bay Area" issue. This made us feel much more at home and provided a little taste of the San Francisco Bay right here in Colorado. Overall an extremely positive experience. I have tried to get a COVID test for 2 days now! I made an appointment online at the centennial office as I was unable to complete a place in line with Lonetree after an hour because the website kept glitching! The appointment was at 11:45am yesterday. Finally got a call at 2:45pm and was told since I didn't have symptoms it takes longer. I explained that I do have symptoms but was now unable to come in. I was told by that receptionist that she had placed an appointment in their system with the Lonetree location at 11am today!! It is now 45 minutes past 11 and I have tried to call them unsuccessfully as usual! I am a 52yr old woman with scar tissue in my lungs from a massive embolism and have mild asthma! I have been exposed by 2 different people in the last week and have had a severe headache, achy neck and a raspy throat for a couple of days! It is pretty sad that I cannot get someone to pick up a phone and call me to determine if I should be checked! Guess this virus isn't as serious to them as they say!! I would give them a 0 if this would let me!! Over trying!!!!! *update* was texted a link to an app called spruce. No phone call. Took me a minute to figure out what is for! This urgent care by far was the cleanest one I've ever been to. They also had updated appliances and comfortable seats in the waiting room. It definitely helps to go to a clean and open place when you're feeling miserable. The staff was so friendly, I didn't feel like just another person taking up space. They called me by name, joked with me, and did it all with a smile! I'm used to the typical hour long waiting time in urgent cares, but I was in and out within 30 minutes! Special shout out to Sandra in reception! My insurance website was down so she couldn't see what was going to be covered. Instead of giving me the total bill (and I'd have to work with the insurance company to claim the money back), she sent everything directly to my insurance so they would take care of everything upfront and I wouldn't have to deal with a hassle later! I really can't say enough good things about this office and Dr. Emilie Rogg. She literally saved my life after having my primary car doctor ignore symptoms I'd been having for years, things came to a head and I went to urgent care. Dr. Rogg promised me she would figure out what was wrong with me and she worked diligently to do exactly that. After my first visit here in late December I wanted to give this place a 5 star review. The staff was friendly and they got me in to see a doctor in less than 20 minutes. They told me my illness was viral and to go home and sleep it off but if I didn't get better or spiked a fever to ask them to call in an antibiotic. I went in December 19th and by December 23rd I had indeed spiked a fever and with Christmas coming I didn't want to be sick so I called them back and asked them to call in the antibiotic. They agreed to do so. I went to the pharmacy early the next day on the 24th and it hadn't been called in. Thinking it was Christmas Eve and maybe they were behind I would wait a while. With it being Christmas and me having family in town I didn't get back to the pharmacy until the evening of the 26th at which point still no prescription. I called Onpoint, and they were closed. I called again the 27th and asked why it hadn't been called in. No explanation or reason was given. I let them know I was leaving the country the next day, I was still sick and it was critical that I get meds before I leave for Europe and they assured me it would be called in. I just left the pharmacy where yet again, NO MEDS. I will never use OnPoint urgent care again. read more

Terrible... slow and unorganized. I show up and check-in at 8:05AM behind about three other people and I'm not seen until 9:20AM. Not a terrible wait, but one that wasn't due to a busy waiting room, but rather some inadequacies in the office's check-in/processing system. There was a family that showed up at least 5 minutes after me and they got called into the back before me. They finally call me to the back, but someone at the front desk realizes there's still another patient in the waiting area who was before me. I stand at the door to the back while the staff discusses who should go in back until I finally ask if I should sit down, to which the nurse answers yes. The staff promises to get me in next when I say I don't have time for this, so I decided wait. They get me in back about 3 mins later. A nurse does the standard check in stuff and says it'll be a few minutes because there are two people in front of me. I finally see the PA 45 mins later! Let me say the PA was good and I'd have given them 4-stars if I was just reviewing that aspect. He apologized for the wait and explained a new electronic system was in use. However, not being seen for nearly 1.5 hours after checking in when it's due to things that can be avoided is unacceptable. The front desk could've been more attentive to who was being called back and handled the discrepancies better (instead of waiting until I had one foot through the door to go in back to mention to the nurse that there's someone before me and not realizing another person was called back before me that should have been behind me). read more

Receptionist finally looks up from her typing, points to a clipboard on the other side of the counter and says "oh, can you sign in so we can get you in?". I said "sure, I was waiting because the sign said wait here". She looks at me and says "can you sign in?". I turned around and left. I'm in way too much pain to deal with complacency and basic incompetence. Which sucks, because their providers seem to be more competent than your average urgent care. But I've had enough attitude from their staff in the past. Can't do it. Not today. Is decent care and clear instructions and compassionate staff really too much to ask? Tonight I would have paid just about anything just to be treated like a human being. Tonight I can not bear to be a piece of meat. I hurt. I'm tired. I just want to get better. Made an appointment for a covid test at 12:35pm. It's 3:05, and nothing. No phone call or anything. We've been waiting in the parking lot unsure what to do, as it isn't convenient for us to just go home and wait. Plus, if they knew it would take 2+ hours, why aren't patients contacted about this? I've gone inside 3 times. The receptionist is surprised that we are still waiting. Why is that a surprise? Did someone make an error? My child is symptomatic and has been waiting in my car for 3 hours. This is unacceptable "care." Just don't take anymore appointments if you can't handle the influx of requests. So I am traveling for work and have been here for about a month when this past Sunday, January 22, 2017, I started getting chills, sweats, serious muscle pain, nausea and dizziness. By Tuesday, one of my close friends Kasey who is a doctor treated me by telephone and told me I needed to go to the hospital immediately. I am absolutely terrified of hospitals due to the potential to obtain staff infections so I negotiated with her and agreed to go to an urgent care center the following day. My boss recommended I go to On Point Urgent Care and so I did. When I walked in, the waiting area was clean and free of debris with great lighting. The lighting was very soft. When you are sick, lighting is very important - trust me! I was immediately greeted by one of the front desk receptionist as I walked through the entrance door. She was extremely nice, efficient and knowledgeable (and, she just so happens to be from Oldham County in Kentucky ) There were televisions in the waiting area and the chairs were very comfortable. It took me a little while to fill out the paperwork because I was a little foggy in the head but as soon as I did I was swept to the nurse's station where a nice tempered nurse took all my stats and blood pressure efficiently. Upon completion, I was relocated to an exam room where my wait time for a doctor was minimal - (And there are TVs in the exam room that you can watch while you wait!) I don't even think I waited for more than five minutes! This is where the recap gets amazing! The doctor comes in, after introductions were made, she actually takes the time to get to know me, my body, my past history and takes the time to go over all of my symptoms! She asked me numerous questions so that she could make sure she was getting the answers she needed to make an accurate diagnosis! I don't know how long it's been since I've had a doctor - whether it be my own primary care physician or an immediate care center personnel take the time to get to know me and my personal physical symptoms! After the diagnosis, she took the time to explain to me what I needed to do to assist in getting better! I was extremely pleased with the remarkable service I received from On Point Urgent Care! Lastly, I received a phone call from them on Friday following up just to check on me at the see how I was feeling! What!?! What company calls you two days after you have purchased their services just to check up on you!?! A+. Hopefully I won't get sick again but if I do this will be the only place I go! read more

I took my 2 year old to this location yesterday for a head wound he received. I was trying to determine if he was going to need stitches or not. We had been here with him a couple of times before. This time I did not have the $30 for the copay as money is tight this week. I told the girl at the front desk of this and she told me "we have to take payment at the time of service but I will put your insurance info in and ask my manager." After a while she let me know her manager said they can't treat him without the $30 copay because "it's a contract I have with my insurance company". So, I left without getting my son's wound looked at. (After talking to some of my nurse friends we determined his wound would heal on its own just fine and they let me know what to watch for in case he had a concussion. He's okay.) However, it never ever dawned on me that they would refuse care to a child with a head injury and we would be turned away because of a $30 copay. I understand everything needs to be paid for and business is business but medical care is sometimes just needed regardless. And for a child nonetheless. We won't ever be going back to this location or any OnPoint Urgent Care because of this incident. I'm sure this won't be a big deal to them, but if I'm going to give anyone $30 I'd rather it be a place that is far more understanding and caring than this place. read more

It is unfortunately my third visit here (nobody wants to be at an urgent care - with wait times at Dr. Offices they are however a necessity). This one has a huge advantage over others; the receptionist is actually nice (Sandra)! Most places treat you like cattle, but we were treated like people. She went a step further to show compassion and on the way ensured we understood everything and were taken care of. We found another urgent care that only charged us the office visit price, but we found this one to be worth the extra 30 bucks. It is close to our home and they usually get you back relatively quickly. If you have a need, I recommend this place. Nobody wants to stand in line or someone to be rude when they don't feel good to start with.... right? read more

Sometimes Yelp needs more than five stars... Please seriously ready this like its a 7 Star Review. On vacation, fresh from a mountain family reunion, I came in thinking I had a cold... I would drop some cash, get some meds and be done. Little did I know I was suffering from a case of High Altitude Pulmonary Edema (HAPE)! Without too many details just let me say that the entire office; from Sandra, the receptionist who made me feel like family, to Lori and Ryan who went WAY beyond beyond to make us feel smart and safe (and hydrated), to Dr. Rogg, who fought to make sure I was treated correctly, even Michelle the xray tech who laughed at my jokes betwixt gasping breaths, the ENTIRE office kept this man (and the missus) calm - cuz we had NO idea how serious this was... Three days later, I was/am a new man with a clean bill of health.... This place treated my family with respect, humor, and gravitas. I had the unfortunate pleasure of being seen at this Urgent Care 2 times in 3 days- not due to their making any mistakes or misdiagnosis but rather my body deciding to evolve my symptoms as the week progressed. Both times I arrived I was promptly greeted by the wonderful woman behind the desk. She was kind and her warm smile and underlying sense of humor went a long way at making the whole process more tolerable. (Seriously, someone give that woman a raise!) Additionally, I never waited more than 10-15 minutes to be called back for blood pressure, etc and consultation with nurse once I was checked in. Once escorted to an exam room, I waited no more than 15 minutes for the doctor or PA to see me. I was always asked good questions, they seemed genuine in listening to my ailments, and committed to offering me a prescription to best address my needs. Both visits, I was in and out in under an hour! The facility is clean and has a welcoming waiting room with coffee maker, TVs, and decent chairs. Staff were all nice and genuine. 3 hours and counting for a Covid test. I scheduled time online at 8am for 8:45. I called as I pulled up to let them know I was present and ask instructions. Was told to wait in car and they would call. After 2 hours of nothing and watching others come and go I went inside to ask if there was a problem. I was told to return to car and they would look up my file. THEN I got a message about the app that I needed to download! After 30 more minutes I got through to person on phone and was told they had called me 6 times and tried to reach me through the app (that I was never told to download). Turns out they had my number as 304 not 303. This is Colorado. I think some simple deduction could have been made. I realize that there a lot of people, but if it's going to take this long there needs to be a better way to queue people so we aren't just sitting in the parking lot like sheep in a pen On a positive note...the gal that did the swabbing was fantastic!! I had to write a review due to the fact that OnPoint Urgent Care really did take care of me and accommodate my urgent care need. I was able to schedule to get in within 2 days and I was attended to rather quickly. The blond receptionist, forget her name, was really nice and she even told her background of being a trained EMT. She even looked at my injured knee to give her welcomed opinion. Of course she said she is not a doctor and don't take her advice but I said it was okay because I wanted to hear what she said since she had previous knee surgery. It took a little while to see Dr. Sharon (forgot her last name) which made me almost give it a 4 star review. However, once I got in the x-ray tech attended to me, he was a nice guy who really personable and made me feel comfortable with everything. He was from Texas too so that made us have a common bond. I then waited for Dr. Sharon and finally saw her. I then understood why it took so long, since she took her time explaining everything and making sure I understood everything and consoled me which was great. The Dr gave me a copy of my x-rays so that it would save me money once I went to an orthopedic doctor which was great advice to save me a little money. I left with the receptionist holding the door for me and a couple of days later there was someone else who called me to check up on me which was a great courtesy call. I just left urgent care with my son. Dr Steve was amazing. My son broke his foot and in between our appointment Dr Steve had 2 emergencies but still made sure we were ok. Bobbi was fantastic and so caring and made my son feel calm. Janet was also great and all so caring! Nothing was too difficult for them. Great place when you are not feeling good! read more
