I actually bought a Magic Tree House book because it was bilingual and they had Traditional Chinese characters with bopomofo (alphabet) alongside the characters. I have never seen a bilingual book like this before! They have some cute stickers and cards here too. I also saw a small selection of snacks and condiments like chili crisp. The cashier (who was probably the owner) was very nice! She spoke English and Mandarin.

The staff were beyond friendly, able to tell me about the new products I was interested in, and discuss the tea knowledgeably. The boutique was so cute we took our time checking every corner of the shop, and walked away with some lovely new pens for journaling. I'll be sure to come back any time I'm near here! And the surrounding complex had a surprising array of food, a lovely indoor/outdoor eating area, and stores full of international goods of many kinds. Maybe next time calls for a visit to Dim Sum next door followed by some tea from their shop!

The prices were ridiculous. I don't mind paying for quality but there was nothing unique here. Very generic. Nothing you couldn't just order off the internet for much cheaper. A small candle that would probably cost $10-$15 in any other boutique store was $50 here. I mean, there was nothing inspiring in this store whatsoever. Just lazy merchandising and boring, overpriced products you could buy anywhere else. That's my honest review before what happened next. The owner called the police because she claimed another customer caught my wife shoplifting. We were detained in a humiliating fashion by several police officers in the front of her store for 45 minutes while they watched security footage over and over trying to find damning evidence of something that didn't happen. When nothing was found, the spineless owner had us criminally trespassed instead of apologizing. I noticed in another review that a minority received terrible service here as well. Not surprised at all to see that the trash who owns this store is racist, too. If you order cookies from Crumbl, make sure to order well enough in advance that you won't be tempted to visit this little piece of retail hell. Boring, generic, rude, overpriced. Completely garbage ownership.

Swoozie's was very inviting, as were the employees who greeted me and asked if I needed help looking for anything. The store was neat, clean and well organized. This store stocks lots of items that will help you celebrate special occasions. Gifts, cards, stationery, invitations, and decorations are among so many different quality items that they sell. Most of these items are organized into specific sections of the store. For example, just about all of the cards are in the card section, and the invitations are in the invitation section. However, gifts are spread throughout the store, so customers have to walk through the entire store to get a good idea of what they stock. The three of us looked through the whole store for a birthday gift for our ex-manager, but nothing jumped out at us. While we all agreed that they have high quality merchandise in Swoozie's, we all thought that the prices were generally expensive - more expensive than what we want to pay, unless they were on clearance.

I am so glad that I decided to drive around the plaza to see what new stores were in place. Sure enough, found this AMAZING bookstore. I was so blown away by the variety of genre there was. It had all kinds of gadgets, 3D puzzles, and really cool Japanese trinket and supply things. They have a vast selection of Pop Mart stuff animals, Manga gallery, and anime. Its like a anime fan's dream. Was going to suggest a coffee and ramen shop, but they both exists when you walk out and just a couple steps away from the bookstore. I would have took a lot more pictures but I didnt want to be rude. I am definitely bringing my kids with me next time.

I decided Halloween morning that I wanted to throw a witches brew with a couple of my friend girls and early during the month I'd see some Lolita witch wine glasses at the Hallmark in Cumberland Mall, so I decided I needed six of those glasses to make my lil last minute party a success. One snag, Hallmark had marked down their Halloween merchandise down 50% a week before Halloween, so when I went into Cumberland, the glass was gone. I left the store with a list of other stores and my quest to hunt down as many of these glasses as I could. When I called this store, the lady that answered the phone didn't even know she was about to be tested by a customer service professional, but she caught on fast. I explained to her what I wanted and she politely asked me if I would call back as she was doing a gift wrap and the store was busy. Of course, I replied, that NO I wouldn't be calling back, that she needed to just have someone else look or I would hold. She placed me on hold and shortly came back not only with the information regarding the glass, but she was holding said glass in her hand and gave me a detailed description of what the glass looked like and took my name and place it on hold for me to pick up. When I got to the store, which is a 45 minute drive from my house, the glass was on hold as agreed and I asked the lady ringing me up if she was the person I spoke to on the phone and another lady that was behind me, stated that she was the person that I spoke with. I tried to apologize to her for being so short/rude/impatient/snobbish on the phone and she just laughed me off and said, just don't do it again to someone else. She agreed that I had been all those things, but admitted that when you work in retail, you are bound to have to deal with someone who wants everything to stop for them right that moment, regardless of what the store staff may be dealing with at the moment. She was so cordial, didn't even phase her how much of a bytch I had been on the phone earlier. The next thing I know, I'm standing there waiting for the cashier to hand me the glass and she says, oh, I thought you wanted it gift wrapped. I told here I didn't and we both ran to the gift wrap station to stop the lady that was now wrapping the glass. Such class and charm were all the ladies at this location, if it wasn't so far from my house, it could easily be my favorite Hallmark store. BTW, I was only able to find two of the Lolita witch glasses.

This is an artist dream. They have probably whatever you need for whichever medium your craft is. My gentleman friend took me on Valentine's Day and I found a fluorescent pink 7mm mechanical pencil. I never knew I needed a pencil so badly. They carry the Ferris Wheel Press inks and a few others but I can't remember the name. Most of the inks cost the same as they would online but you don't have to pay shipping and you can view the swatches to get a good idea of the color you're buying. So happy businesses like this still thrive in Atlanta
