Great alternative to going to the Post office on the Island. The staff is helpful, I see all the complaints here and I haven't encountered rude service at all, maybe that is because I greet them with a smile and hello first!!! So much better than driving to downtown post office. They actually scan your package, not just throw it in a bin like the ups by publix.

These owner / people are nasty. I asked for help with an undelivered package but they would not assist. I had a receipt but no help. I will never return. they certainly don't represent usps an and should have it revoked. read more

This place gets a bad rap because people in Venice love to complain. It's a locally-owned card shop and post office, not a hospital or restaurant. I do a lot of business here shipping packages because I own an online shop. The owners have always been polite and accommodating. Never had a single problem. read more

This place is poorly run. They're supposed to open at 9:00 am, but recently, I got there shortly after 9, only to find a sign on the door that said, "We will be opening at 10:30 today". I'm a busy person with a lot on my plate, and when I don't have time to drive to the "real post office" on the island, it would be nice if I could depend upon Cardware to operate during their posted business hours, instead of changing the hours to suit the owners' schedule. It would be great if they answered their phone, too, instead of it being a fax number, so when I call to ask if they're open before I inconvenience myself by driving there, I would know if I have to drive to the island instead. They close up during the summer for "vacation", which is another huge inconvenience. They should hire people to cover for them when they're away, instead of closing. read more

Great prices on cute note cards, thank yous etc. Plus get stamps, mail something, without the line because they are a us post office annex. Very friendly, helpful staff too! read more

Best neighborhood post office! Well stocked with cards and thoughtful treats for all care packages. Counter personnel willing to spend time for customer satisfaction. Makes errands pleasant to do. Owners deserve the coffee and muffins routinely dropped off for them! read more
