Outstanding boat charter and tour service. Captain Karie is the man! I live in Florida, but I took my sister's family (from Chicago) on this charter. Loved it. You can custom tailor the trip to what you want to do - especially great for teenagers and kids who change their minds at last minute like we all know. Even with red tide ruining the sandbar swimming fun for the day, the boat captain got us tubing right away in clear areas for Plan B. My sister and brother-in-law loved the scenic views of the intracoastal waterway (ICW) and pointing out the celebrity homes on both Casey Key and in the Sarasota Bay. The big highlight was the dolphin watching. The charter captain was very adept at finding dolphins in the ICW and making sure we got some wonderful up-close sightings! Took a 2-hour Dolphin tour with Captain Karie Daniel on his 23' Tidewater Center Console with its beautiful, custom Bimini providing shade over the entire forward seating area. My wife and I and our four kids, ranging in age from 9-16, had such an amazing afternoon with Captain Karie on Sunday, April 14th. We were delighted to see a number of Ospreys, Spoonbills, Pelicans ... and of course Dolphins! The dolphins put on quite a show for us, riding the wake from the boat and playing directly in front of us for plenty of photo opps!!! Couldn't have asked for a better afternoon on the water, and a better guide than Captain Karie. He was so knowledgeable and offered plenty of local dining and recreation advice as well. Such a gem on the west coast! We booked a 2-hour "dolphin cruise" with Captain Karie and he did not disappoint. We quickly found a small pod of dolphins before venturing further into the inland waterways. While trolling along in one bay we spotted a manatee and Karie stopped the boat so it could come in for a visit. later on we spotted more dolphins and Karie convinced them to come chase our wake for a time. What a great experience! The boat is basically new and very comfortable. Captain Karie is a super-knowledgeable local guide who offered up tons of information on local landmarks and animal species. We would definitely go back for another tour, maybe a sunset tour to one of the local restaurants for dinner. Highly recommended. read more

I called suncoast the night before valentine's day desperately trying to find a sunset tour for my girlfriend and I on valentine's day. Thankfully suncoast made that happen. The captain was so accommodating, he even went as far as to help me hide it from my girlfriend. The whole ride he was super friendly and did anything he possibly could to make our experience perfect. He did an awesome job at getting the dolphins to jump right behind the boat. He also got us the most breathtaking view of the sunset. After getting more comfortable on the local waterways and taking the Coast Guard boater safety training I wanted to get some professional one on one guidance from a certified captain. Captain Karie Daniel proved to be a great choice. He walked through all aspects of safety, equipment and navigation. We spent a great deal of time on cast off and docking in the marina before heading out. We reviewed signage, channel markers, anchoring and more. We closed the session with more docking until I was comfortable with several scenarios. He was conscientious and a patient teacher. our dolphin cruise yesterday was amazing! Captain Karie is definitely a dolphin whisperer. My grandkids were in awe of how he could get them to perform in his wake. He also knew where to go to see the rosiatted spoonbills, along with all the other water foul. Karie was knowledgeable and easy to talk to, answering our questions with his friendly smile. We even went to Selby gardens to get a great view of the flowering trees from the water! Captain Karie definitely accommodated our interests during the tour! The sunset cruise was an amazing experience. It was if the captain could get dolphins to show up just by whistling. The tour was extraordinary with a real depth of knowledge of the area, as well as his ability to anticipate other boaters (very safety conscious). We would without any hesitation use Suncoast again. This was a great tour we were not on the water 15 minutes and came across a pod of dolphins cruising up the intercostal waterway. We watched them for a bit then headed to a sand bar. The sandbar is at the mouth of the inlet to Sarasota and it was so cool. We anchored in shallow water and walked to the sandbar there we found Sea shells, conch shells, some with conch still in them, sand dollars and had several pods of dolphins swim by.
