It's been almost a year since we joined, and I wanted to take moment to share our experience with anyone who may be on the market for a daycare. The staff and teachers at AWNWA make it a truly loving and warm environment, which is why I know that it feels like home for my daughter when she is there. Some things I love about AWNWA are: 1) they post TONS of pics throughout the day to the parent app 2) they do so many fun/educational crafts and activities throughout the day - things I never would think to do at home. 3) They have a small/private outdoor area and use that regularly during the warm months (plus waterplay once a week in summer) 4) they have social events for all families every few months which are a blast and have really helped families to form relationships with one another 5) They value parent input and even have a parent committee to assist with events, policies, etc. 6) It's family owned. The director, Mr. B (and his wife Karan) opened AWNWA when their son was a child over 20 years ago. The center is truly their world and it shows. My daughter has learned SO much since joining AWNWA it blows me away. I feel like every day she is saying or doing something that I didn't know she could do.
