So, when I found this company I was excited. However, that excitement soon changed to disappointment. I did the in home meet with two people from the company and then decided to go ahead and try them out. I was told they need 48-hour minimum notice to provide care. So, on June 30th I emailed them about starting care for my mom 13 days later. I was told that they would get back with me after the weekend on Tuesday since it was a holiday weekend and I never heard back, on Wednesday I sent a follow-up email, by Friday I had still not received a response, so I called. I was advised the person I needed to talk with was in a meeting and proceeded to ask whoever answered the phone about the care I needed four days later on Tuesday. I was told they still hadn't found a caregiver and I asked if I needed to go with a new company since I needed care the following week. I was told yeah good luck finding one at this point, but if you can go ahead and use them. I was very disappointed with this response and was told that she'd talk with the director and get back with me....it's now Tuesday and I still have not heard back from anyone at this office. This is fine at this point as I won't be using this company. If I give you almost two weeks' notice to establish care, I don't have faith in this company providing services in 48 hours or at all. The customer service I received was appalling. This company may be fine to work with for those that have set schedules, but in my case not for respite care.
