She put the stethoscope to my lungs and said I had an upper respiratory infection. I go pick up the one prescription she wrote for me, I go back home and I started feeling even worse the next day-until Monday where I really felt like I was about to pass out . I went to the hospitals emergency room told the the same thing I had pain in my chest while coughing along with other symptoms, after a long wait they told me that I had pneumonia and I did the right thing coming to them....youre taking a chance going to urgent care. I definitely won't be trusting them with my life completely. The doctors don't really take you seriously, but at least the front desk is super nice, the doctors aren't disrespectful (except for the one time I had a rude male dr) but they definitely don't take you seriously or don't seem to know what they're doing AT ALL.

I then drove over and waited in my car until Sue gave me a call and then I walked right into the testing space. Alex carefully took down a list of my symptoms and administered my test in full gear. Then I waited 20 *frantic* minutes for my rapid results. That's when I got dreaded news that I was positive (despite being super cautious snd ALWAYS wearing my mask). PA Daniel Iannello was AMAZING in calming my nerves and telling me everything I should do to keep others safe and take care of myself. If I had gotten this news from anyone else, I would have 100% had a panic attack but he kept me in good spirits and handled the situation with the utmost bedside manner and grace. I left there feeling *positive* in spirit (and with COVID, since I was definitely having a bunch of symptoms), and I can't thank the staff here enough. This was something I had been doing everything to avoid, but everyone at this ProHealth location gave me a sense of normalcy and their best advice. I will also say there were no other patients in the waiting room so they really have their COVID procedures in place in an effort to keep everyone safe. It's been 10+ days since testing positive and I am officially NEGATIVE and so happy this experience is over. Just missing my sense of taste and smell. I am truly so thankful for everyone at ProHealth for providing me with great care on one of the scariest mornings. If you are having symptoms or think you have been exposed, you should absolutely get tested at any available testing center. But if you have a choice of where to get your test, this ProHealth location reigns supreme in my book.

My head hit the edge of the sidewalk and curb which resulted in a gash above my eye and numerous abrasions. As stubborn as I am I wiped the blood off my face, took a few minutes to make sure I was ok, then completed the run. Took a different route to end right by this CityMD in Brighton Beach. The care I received here was terrific, from the front desk, to the nurse who assisted, and the doctor who stitched me up. Ended up with six stiches which has healed up nicely. Clean facility, they got me in quickly, and accepted my health plan provider with just a small co-pay. Very professional and courteous staff during my visit.

The staff here did their best to accommodate everyone--the sidewalk is narrow due to MTA construction and it was VERY cold. The staff distributed hand warmers to people outside and managed the line (there were a lot of old women trying to cut the line). The staff was patient, and I am grateful, as my brain ceased to function after several hours in the wind. Inside, the PA was kind and helpful. The doctor apologized and was also very kind--it's not his fault there's an Omicron spike. I had a rapid test and a PCR, and the doctor swabbed very gently. I was grateful and I'm impressed. It makes me feel better about my own efforts to test at home with the Binax kit, and it puts the other CItyMDs (where they just jam it up your nose with no disregard) to shame. I had my results in less than an hour. I found that there was a lot of signage about wait times in the office, and the entire staff was VERY communicative. It has to be HARD to work at CityMD right now, and I am grateful for their care.

Dr. Steinmetz is just a caring, understanding, well-mannered, humble, and gracious person. I have to say person, because he has to be such a person first to be a doctor with those qualities. Not to be ignored is his staff. His staff is just as courteous and understanding. I read reviews putting them down - but I beg to say, the person writing such a review, doesn't quite have an understanding of what to expect from an office staff in such a delicate yet fast-moving environment, attending to phones, patients, and any requests of the doctor...
