I understand how busy it can get in a staffing agency, I've managed 2 offices in two of the busiest markets in Florida. I understand that sometimes people might slip from being called or emailed. However, if you receive a follow up e-mail from the person who you interviewed, not once, not twice but three times within a span of 3 weeks, and not one single reply. That just means you don't care, I'm just a number to you. A resource to get your numbers up and filled. I am not angry that I didn't get the position, it happens, it won't be the first or last time I get turned down from a position. With that said, I do expect a call or an email stating so. As recruiters we have forgotten the human aspect of HR, and just utilize the resource portion. 'Will this person be a resource to me?' It's truly sad. I made a point that I contacted ALL my temps and prospects, why? Keep my talent pool full and engaged. To this company I was just a number, and I would NEVER recommend them to a friend or family. Start bringing back the Human portion of HR, and maybe I'd recommend you.

Agreed to a job weeks ago. A few days prior to the job I received a text reconfirming the details. Noticed that my hours completely changed. Asked if it was a mistake and it wasn't. All I was told was the hours changed a while ago. Never informed me when they had. An emergency came up that prevented me from being able to take the job. Apologized profusely the moment it came up. Instead, I was blocked. They have no consideration that life happens. Emergencies happen. Please save yourself the hassle and find another staffing agency or other employment. You are worthy of better. They are a horrible company and don't deserve to be in business.

Within a short period of time he landed me several interviews with some highly respected commercial construction company's in San Diego. I've worked with many different recruiters before but the passion Matt has for his job is well above the others. My experience with other recruiters has been to take your info, put you in their system and you never hear from them again. Or if you do it's for an odd ball job that's sort of related to what you were looking for in the first place. I would talk on the phone or text at least once a week with updates from Matt.
