I got a porcelain jug for $2, some jewellry for $4 for 4 pieces, and a ginger pot for $1. Plus books. Staff are completely lovely. This is a great shop that's a bit of a TARDIS--it's bigger on the inside. In fact, there is what one of the lovely ladies called "a treasure room" out the back, so don't think it's just the front part, there's this extra bit out the back with bric-a-brac, shoes, vintage clothes and other things. Then near the change rooms, there's another little hidden room, with cushions, sheets, blankets and baby things. Really great little store and this is another must visit again on my op shop list.

From clothing to bric-a-brac to electronics to cameras to furniture, there's something here for everyone. They have periodic sales, for example, 50% off all furniture for a week, and the prices are incredibly good. The volunteers who manage the store are friendly and helpful, and more than willing to assist you with your needs. I did really well here, managing to grab a leather (!) recliner chair for $30, during the 50% off furniture week this week. With such a wide variety, even with the long distance drive it took for us to get here, I'll definitely be back. I highly recommend it as a good op shop stop if you're out that way.

An absolute gold mine. Everything here is cheap with a capital 'C' and the stock is amazingly good and varied. Last winter, they had a stunning collection of faux fur jackets, absolutely fashionable and just short of a magazine shoot. The leather shoes are plentiful here and at such incredible prices. The shop layout is huge and divided with clothing, bric a brac, bevy of hats and scarves, bling accessories and so much more! For someone who thrives on handbags, I found so many collections here. Some in leather, some canvas and delightful totes. Oh, I could just stare at them for hours! It's definitely worth a trip here, as you'll find many op shops in this area. Meet neighbour Salvos who's just next door, and you'll also find another Salvos branch and Goodwill just down the road in Findon. So know that I've told you about the best op shop in town, you have my permission to visit Hosanna, as long as I'm allowed to tag along! :p

I have to say I'm with Kamini here... a little loathe to share it but since I'm so nice I can't help myself! Hosanna Op Shop is one of the best op shops I have ever been to. They are still run by little old ladies who price things as op shop items should be priced. There was a plethora of brown and black school shoes (should you ever need a thousand pairs of them), great vintage items, loads of hats, scarves and bags and some very good near new clothing and homewares stuff. As well as that there's a great selection of preowned books and I have managed to pick up a few gems there :) I'm finding lately that it's better to find those little church run op shops than go to the big chains, as they tend to have the bargains as well as volunteer staff who are always friendly! You won't regret visiting this humble little shop.

This is an op shop that's more than just an op shop…read more I'm incredibly impressed with the ethic of ADRA Op Shops. This one in particular. There is a wealth of goods to buy from here--electrical, furniture, books, toys, pet things, clothes, bric-a-brac--and they also sell non-alcoholic wines and their own honey. But what really impressed me was that they have food for free for those who are in need. By the front door is a large rack, and in that rack, on the day we visited, were bags and bags of fruits and vegetables--all free. We were told that sometimes there are loaves of bread or boxes of eggs or tins of food, all provided by ADRA's staff for people who really need it. I thought this was just terrific, and really showed how important it is for these organisations to exist, to help those people who are in need and may not know how to access supports or have trouble accessing supports. The range of goods on sale too, was great. I did very well here, grabbing a set of 8 etched glasses made in France, and a couple of paperbacks. My friend bought a few items as well. There's a cafe in the shop too, and a bathroom, which can be essential sometimes, on those long, happy op shop days. The shop is just behind the biggest Bunnings in the north, and the staff are friendly, pleasant and polite. Prices are good, and overall, the atmosphere was terrific. Will definitely visit again.

Bad customer service you can hear the volunteer outside and they're all feral foul mouths. I know…read moresomeone that left because the manager at the time couldn't care less about this person needing to be inside when it is hot weather. From last November-early January this yearthe manager went overseas over Christmas and didnt even bother going in to volunteer they rang up one morning and she basically said she wasn't going to be coming in anymore and the manager was back at the time. She practically told her that she will return the apron when she has the time. 2 weeks after she stopped going after returning her apron and badge after that she hasn't stepped foot in the store since. And every I drive passed there is always junk at the front gate. Not a good look seeing as they are an op shop

If you live near by you can probably afford to shop there and they do often get quality stuff so it's worth checking out.

With a chapel-inspired shaped door, this op shop is fantastic with prices and good stock. Rows of wooden racks displaying women's clothing, men's clothing, kids clothing and vintage tops are aplenty. I spotted some pretty evening dress shoes, most going for under $10. Am sure most ladies can relate to how expensive shoes are nowadays. Expect to find lots of Mummy groups here as they dive into kids international brands, such as Pumpkin Patch, Esprit and Gap, all going for great prices. I spotted plenty of vintage furnitures and stunning bric a brac pieces. This has got to be one of the cheapest op shop in the city. Bring a bag or two to stock up at your next visit. Caution: Highly addictive!
