We had such a wonderful stay here. We arrived late night and check in only took 5 minutes which was great. We were given a welcome package with room, WiFi, resort and nearby area info which was great. Our room was in the first floor in the corner which was awesome because we can be loud and no one can hear us. Entering the home, the pictures does no justice at all! The home is so spacious! Full kitchen with plates, cups and utensils, breakfast bar and a dining table. Living room with sofa bed, a master bedroom with it's own personal bathroom and balcony. The second room had 2 twin sized bed with entrance to the hallway bathroom. Washer, Dryer and the closets are equipped with clean towels for use. Loved the fact that the house had a private screened balcony with a table and chairs which faced the woods so no one was around. It truly makes a difference to have that privacy. The pool area was incredible. The pool has that "infinity" look to it with plenty of chairs and a Jacuzzi. Ironically, I had this tripped plan and injured my foot the week prior so the Jacuzzi actually helped a lot specially with my foot injury. We took advantage and went to the pool/Jacuzzi almost everyday of our stay. The couch does have to be updated. It's old and the sofa bed is uncomfortable and the couch itself is dirty. Booked through AirBnB, once I came in we had an issue with verification. 10 stars out of 5 for the lady working at the front desk she was awesome but the manager I talked to put me on hold for over and hour and definitely needs to be retrained. Other than the service the actual room was very nice, roomy and neat. TV was equipped with everything you need, kitchen had all utensils and etc. everything you would normally expect. The pool and hot tub were nice, though maybe a little chlorine needed and to turn down the hot tub a bit. I would leave a 5 if it wasn't for the poor service at the very beginning. read more

Having the convenience of home away from home is my ideal trip especially when travelling with the whole family. Caribe Cove did just that for us. The resort itself is clean and well-maintained. The staff are friendly and made sure check-in and check-out was a breeze for us. I like that we were able to ship items that we would need while on our trip ahead of time prior to our arrival date. That's really convenient if you don't wish to check-in any luggage on your flight. Their mini mart inside the clubhouse also served us well when my daughter had the hankering for some popcorn late one night. And for our bigger shopping needs, Publix supermarket was only 5 minutes away as well as Walmart which was open 24/7. The parks at WDW are a good 15 minute drive while Universal Studios was about 25 minutes away. No issues with parking inside the facility at all as there's an abundance of it! It's always a thrill when you open the door to your hotel room. I let out a huge sigh of relief after having scoped out the unit because I knew we picked a good place. We got a 2 BR and 2 BA with a full kitchen equipped with everything you could possibly need (except for food, of course). A washer and dryer comes in handy for long stays with kids so I made sure they had this before booking here. It said on their welcome brochure that they provide a starter kit of laundry detergent and liquid dish soap but the laundry detergent was non-existent. Good thing I came prepared. Now, there is no housekeeping for the duration of your stay, therefore towels are not replaced. However, they have enough extra linens in the closets including beach towels if you need to hit the pool in their clubhouse. For other needs such as toiletries, paper towel, toilet paper, you can always stop by the front desk and they'd be happy to give you more if you run out. They also offer free DVD rental which I got excited about but never got the chance to avail. Too pooped after a day at the park! It's nice that their patio is completely covered with screen. Not only is it safe for my toddler but it also protects us from mosquitoes when we leave the sliding door open. If I had to complain about something, it would have to be the dated living room set which is very obvious on the fabric of the couches. I had to cover them with bed linen to protect us from whatever bugs living underneath. Otherwise, loved the spacious rooms/layout of the condo and how we didn't run into any issues during our visit. In fact, it's so safe here that we forgot to close the trunk of our rental car and left our door unlocked for one night without anyone stealing anything or breaking in. read more

My daughter and I have stayed here twice and loved it both times. I have read a few bad reviews, so maybe your experience depends on the unit you have? We've been in building 3 on the 3rd floor both times. 3 bedroom, 2 bath. The unit was very clean and spacious. I really cant believe how big the bedrooms and bathrooms are! Having a kitchen is a great way to save a little money, vs eating all meals at a restaurant or in a theme park. I love the screened deck. Great place for morning coffee! It's only a 20 minute drive to Disney. The pool is beautiful and clean. This is a gated community, with a security guard at the gate. It's right off of highway 192 which has everything you need - grocery stores, Target, Walgreens, restaurants, and all the gaudy gift shops ;) read more

For an incredibly low price, we got a stylish fully-furnished three bedroom apartment that was spotless, with a full kitchen, two full bathrooms, a nice porch with chairs, and no issues. Yes, this place is kind of in nowhere-ville but if you need to be in the area and you want to stay with a lot of friends or family, I'd recommend it. However, they warned us not to make any noise after 9pm but we're having a blast right now at 11pm, and nobody seems to be complaining! read more

My family of five stayed here last week on our five day vacation in Florida. My Aunt booked this resort months in advance. Not sure what website she used but it was $93 a day with a one time $40 cleaning fee. We'll take it! If we stayed at a hotel we would have paid much more for how many guests we had. We would have been in a cramped space regardless. At Caribe Cove, we had a 3 bedroom, 2 full size bathroom rental. It was absolutely perfect. There was the master suite with a king size bed, shower and a large tub. Another room had queen bed and a large bathroom shared with the next bedroom, room with two twin beds. So much space. We all felt like we had our own space to relax. When we first arrived we didn't think we would like the beds because they are on the softer side but we all slept wonderfully and all got a full nights sleep every night. Lots of pillows and blankets in each closet. The full kitchen was nice so we could take advantage and buy groceries rather than eat out at every meal. There's a Publix and Super Target nearby. We had an endless supply of hot water for showers and baths. 55 gallon hot water heater in our room. We had balconies and a nice screened in patio that we loved. TV's in every room although I don't think any of us turned them on. We don't watch TV much at all. The only real issues we had were the wifi was absolutely worst I have ever used. So slow and doesn't work most of the time. Next issue was we were grilling near the picnic area and when we were almost done with our burgers, the sprinklers turned on and got everything all wet and ruined dinner. Sprinklers turned on at 5:50pm, aka Dinner time. We didn't use the pool, hot tub or sauna but we didn't walk in the area and it was very clean. Pool water was warm. Clubhouse has pool table, foosball and a fitness area. We will definitely be returning. We loved our stay. Grab stay for the price! read more

I am revising my review as of 9/23/2013- I stayed here again for work last week. My right shoulder is still throbbing from the more than uncomfortable beds. My husband did ask management last year if the beds would be updated and they informed him they would. I will not be returning here until they do. It is sad because this location has lots to offer but you get lodging to be able to sleep - not on a box spring. I will be traveling back to Orlando in November and December of this year but I WILL NOT be staying here. 07/2012 My husband and I traveled with our 5-month old daughter and stayed here this past week. The positives first: We had a 2-bedroom/2-bath unit with a full kitchen and washer/dryer. They also supplied us a pack and play AND a full highchair (our daughter is still a supported sitter so that was great). The parking was free - which in and around Orlando parking can range from $11-$15 a night. This Yelper is a frequent traveler to Orlando. ;) The kitchen was supplied with 1 roll of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, pots and pans, 1 small packet of dish washing detergent, dishwasher, a full -sized fridge, a blender, toaster, and small coffee pot. There is a Target up the street where we got anything else we needed. They have a small store located in the club house which offers a DVD machine so you can rent new releases and view them on the TV in living room. The DVD rental was complimentary. The grounds were well taken care of. I am putting the following in the positive category only because Caribe Cove's security did a great job. We departed yesterday morning at 4am and 2 people that were obviously not guests were lurking around the parking lot outside our building while we were packing the car. Caribe's security spotted them and got rid of them immediately. And now for the negatives: Along with other Yelpers I found the housekeeping "system" they have there to be annoying. We aren't overly messy people but having fresh towels is always a plus. Yes they have a washer/dryer in the unit but when you leave at 8am and return at 9pm the last thing you want to do is clean. There is a $65 fee to have Caribe clean - I don't know how much resorts in the area add on to their daily fees for housekeeping. Their pool is a little on the small side and when we went there were a lot of kids that wanted to splash around. It didn't leave us a lot of room to move so we left after about 20 minutes. Toilet paper in the store located in the club house is $1.80 per roll. So before you check in I suggest heading to Target or Walmart up the street and get a 6 pack of paper towels and toilet paper. Again, I travel to Orlando a lot and the room and what it had to offer was awesome. There was another Yelper that didn't like where it is located in reference to some theme parks. Take it from me - there are a lot of theme parks in/around Orlando one of them will always be a hike to get to. If you use Google's mapping system (which I do) you can kind of get a feel where everything is before you go. :) Happy travels. read more

Very nice place, I'm currently in the Curaco suite, which is their biggest one and it's fairly nice. Very clean and the only thing i do not like are the fees when you check in. Now if i heard correctly it's a 100$ maid fee and they also take a deposit from a credit card until you leave. Bathrooms are very clean, slight odor but good. On the weird point. Their three bedroom villas can accommodate up to 8 people, and provide the convenience of separate rooms, living area, kitchen and dining table. Friends of ours have stayed here before so we made the reservation knowing in some ways what to expect. The cleanliness is evident from the moment you walk into the reception area at the Club House. The rooms are also impeccable and dust-free, although the furnishings are a little outdated. Although, in my opinion, as long as the bathrooms and kitchen are clean, I'm satisfied. I stayed here during a recent trip to Orlando in January 2013 and after my stay here I am definitely a fan! If I ever return back to the Orlando area this will defiantly be one of the first places I look to for reasonably priced accommodations. 2.) Location: Caribe Cove is located about 20 minutes from the Orlando Airport and 15 minutes (give or take a few depending on traffic) to any of the area attractions. The property is a bit off "the main drag" so what what you get is accommodations in a fairly quiet area. For me it was close enough to "Las Vegas - family style" (what I call the area) but far enough away so that once you arrive at Caribe Cove, you can actually relax. There are also several supermarkets, shopping areas and restaurants nearby to pick up any incidental you might need during your stay. I always felt safe at Caribe Cove because all cars have to enter through a security gate that is staffed during the overnight (and early morning :)) hours. I felt very safe and secure while we were there with a well lit parking lot, stairwells and hallways throughout the complex. 5) Accommodations: My friend and I shared a two bed room rental on the fourth floor of Building 1 and actually for the two of us it was a bit large :). One bedroom had a queen bed and the second had two double beds. A full bathroom was attached to each bedroom. All bedding and towels (bathroom and pool) were provided and there was plenty of space to store our clothing and luggage. The kitchen was spacious and contained your standard appliances (microwave, oven, fridge, and dishwasher). There were also plenty of newish cookware(all matching) and dishware/utensils for about 6-8 people. Our rental also had central air conditioning, full service cable and free Wi-Fi. I slept in the room with the double beds and the comfort level of the mattress and pillows were ok..definately took some getting used to and by the time I did it was time to leave :( There was also a separate room with a washer and dryer which would be great for those spending a week or more in the area. Coming from New England I appreciated the enclosed porch where I spent many hours during my stay. 4.) Service: Not much to speak of as you were responsible for the cleanliness of your accommodations. They do charge a what I thought to be a reasonable cleaning fee to return your rental to its previous state prior to the next occupants arrival. Bins were located by the parking lot for trash disposal. 5) Extras: Caribe Cove has a gym located in the Club House. It is not big but has two good quality treadmills and a Universal (ha!) machine. They also have a outdoor, heated pool and hot tub with plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas. There are also DVDs that are available for rental to watch in your rental AND the movies were mostly recent releases I was also pleasantly surprised to find that they had a mini convenience store with incidentals that were reasonably priced AND....Coffee and hot tea available all day and evening. A plus considering I have to have my caffeine and my roommate does not. 5.) Impressions: I cannot say enough great things about Caribe Cove. As I had never stayed in a rental while on vacation, I had some reservations but after staying here I can say that compared to what you will pay for many of the hotels in the area (many of which do NOT have kitchens included) - this is a great option for those looking to maximize their travel experience while not spending a fortune. read more

Ok, by now I have stayed here 6 times - all because I was in town for business. We like that this place is inexpensive for what you get. Really, a full condo for $80-$100 per night is not bad at all. Now, we always get the 3 bedroom because the second room has a queen bed - the two bedroom condo we had one time had only twin beds in the 2nd room. The condo is fully stocked with plates, glasses, and other items but there is no maid service. So you have to clean up after yourself. The screened in patio is nice. It is also usually pretty quiet and being several blocks away from 192 helps. Between travel sites and their site, you can usually find a decent rate. Plus, every time we booked (expedia or direct) the cleaning fee was included. However, I did have to sign a cleaning charge form every time I checked in (even though it was included in my rate) with only an occasional "it's for incidentals" explanation. It always seemed weird and I didn't like it. Judging by the pictures others have posted, I am convinced that they put you in rooms based on what you paid. Having always seeked out the lowest rate, I have always been in a more dated condo with old bamboo type decorations and furniture and lousy small tv's. Clearly, some of the condos have nicer (and updated) furnishings. Pool area, clubhouse, and resort grounds are pretty nice. Front desk staff is usually average with the occasional crab thrown in. However, they have a security post and they have always been awesome. There is a black guy with longer hair - he was spot on! He began to recognize our company van and as soon as we turned into the complex he would open the gate. Niiiice. Actually, there is a younger guy and a woman that I have seen as well, all have been great. Wifi / internet is terrible. REALLY terrible. Being in town for business makes that a problem and is the reason we will be looking elsewhere for our next upcoming stay. The last two stays we had to use my phone almost exclusively as a hot spot to connect as it was impossible to get anything done using the resort internet. The rooms are nice, if not a bit dated. But for the price, that is fine with me. Most of the stays have been ok with the occasional quirk. Over the years that includes; loose light fixtures, kooky light switch configurations, tiny tv's, missing bulbs, remotes with dead batteries, animals living in the roof, really old fluorescent bulb that takes 5 minutes to get bright in the toilet room so you have to sit in the dark...you know, quirks. They would do well to try catering to business travelers by offering a corporate rate or making sure their stay is nice - since they would be more likely to return every year and sometimes multiple times in a year. And generally with less wear and tear on the rooms. But to do that they would need MUCH better internet. read more

I LOVED staying here! It's such a GREAT deal! We got this spacious THREE bedroom, two bathroom, kitchen and livingroom apartment and it was wonderful! There's a washer/dryer unit in the apartments and a full kitchen (meaning all the plates, utensils, pots, pans, etc, etc are provided!) You can rent DVD's from the reception area and watch it in your apartment. It's absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this place if there is going to be a BIG group of people staying together. Checked in for first night of our stay and it isn't going well. The TV, ice maker, water, and about half of the lights don't work. Worse - there is ONE BLANKET for six guests in four beds - all guests were registered when I made the reservation, so it's not like they didn't know we needed more than one blanket. The front desk says they can't help as housekeeping department is closed and no blankets are available until the morning. I enjoyed this "Time share" hotel. It was mostly made decent by the price and the size of the suite. It is a good 12 miles to Disney, 16-18mi to SeaWorld and 20mi to Universal so you will need to rent a car with a family unless you prefer the shuttle for $15ea each way. I didn't try the shuttle because I found the prices to be too steep. The main lodge has a decent size pool although the website makes it look huge with the help of wide angle lenses. The water seems to be treated with Bromine which was hard to tolerate by a few of our kids but it was nice, warm and the hot tub was great! Our room, as I mentioned was huge! The mattresses were uncomfortable though. We also had an ant problem in our kitchen and being in a tropical climate you have to expect some issues to a degree. They took care of the problem right away. This is a time share and NOT a hotel so the service is reflected. Getting extra towels(we had seven in our family and they had 6 of everything for an 8 person room) was more of a chore then I would have liked, we had to go to the main building to explain why we needed them. They won't replenish your supplies except for toilet paper, Kleenex and a coffee pack and you are expected to clean your own sheets so be prepared to go and buy detergent. I rated this a three star because it was a nice stay, no major issues and a good price. It lost stars because the beds were uncomfortable, the service was O.K., and I didn't like the $85 for a cleaning service that I wouldn't see PLUS a "resort fee" of another $85. All in all, I will try something else next time I go and if a friend says that they booked here I will let them know that they can enjoy their safe stay! read more

This property is clean, and pretty. There are alot of activites to do. The units are huge, with a nice kitchen, screen porch, and walk in closets. I was skeptical reading other reviews about the uncomfortable beds, but my bed was okay. I had some issues about this hotel. First off the location is not as close as stated to Disney and Universal. Also plan on paying a huge fee. If you do not book thru them you will be charged a huge fee over $100.00. For three nights I got charged $111.00!!!! The other issue I had was my towels. I grabbed towels from the bathroom for my shower, and saw a huge wad of hair. The second one also same thing!! Gross. There was also a pubic hair in the shower. The staff was nice. The hotel was huge. The TVs were small :( Its was okay. But I prob will not visit again because of.the.$111.00 fee on top of my $300.00 I paid for my stay. read more

This place is bigger than my town home. It's true that it is very spacious and clean, but the amenities of the resort are not that great. It's very isolated with a small pool and no activities. You have to rent a car to drive 15 to 20 minutes to Disney World. I will give it 4 stars b/c it is fairly new, modern, and huge. But its nowhere close to Downtown Disney or Universal's City Walk, the happening places. My cousin told me at her timeshare, they had daily activities like t shirt tie dying and teddy bear making, which sounds wonderful. Here we pretty much did not use their small pool and just came here to sleep. We spent 3 waking hours here on average. To wind down after tiring ourselves from the parks, and then passing out. read more

Been staying at Caribe Cove for 13 years 2 or 3 times a year. All good except one other time when the bed had bed bugs!! Well I reserved a 2 bedroom condo for 7days, paid up front through Vacasa. Got here to a filthy unit, paint, baseboards, carpet is filthy, beds are horrible, old, furniture old, stained, and I won't be back here. Beware folks, make sure you rent an updated unit, this one is real bad. If I hadn't paid up front and can't get my money back I would have left. read more

Upon arrival, the girl at the desk was less than helpful in explaining why i "had" to sign a charge ($80) for incidentals and room cleaning. Be aware that you are getting a roomy place to stay, but you are required to clean the place before you leave or they'll charge you extra. I had to delay my departure to wash and dry the towels. Same with the dishes. There is no daily room cleaning service. We learned the hard way- wash everything before you use it! I stayed here recently for our first time in Orlando. We stayed 6 nights 7 days in a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo (Building 1 unit 108). This was our first experience in this resort and found it to be in a perfect location and the price was very reasonable. The full kitchen was put to use daily and the only complaint was that our ice machine had a malfunction but maintenance came within the hour to correct this. The living space was very spacious and the rooms were clean. My only complaint was that the mattresses were not very comfortable. The pool was nice and the fitness area was also very convenient. The location is not very far from Disney and Walmart/grocery stores. Will definitely visit again. read more

What I recommend is that you check your rooms carefully. Our stay was cut short due to an infestation of roaches in the kitchen, second bedroom and bathroom. I called the front desk at 1130pm to advise them of the problem, didn't get a sorry or would would you like me to move you to another room. Where do I begin.... 1st things 1st do not I repeat do not stay on the 1st floor!!! Upon arrival everything looked very beautiful the outside grounds were amazing I gave them a rating of 2 because of that as also the pool area ad club was great! As far as the rooms we stayed in a 3 bedroom villa as soon as I walked in there was an awful smell which smelt like mildew or old basement that had water damage the carpet was dirty the curtains was dirty in the master suite ....It doesn't look like they took their time to clean I seen pictures of how nicely the towels were layed out like swans our towels were just thrown on the bed there were a variety of different bugs I seen during our stay I was very displeased with everything about our villa I will not be staying here again! The smell alone made me not want to return! Ohhhh and there is absolutely no service and the wifi sucks!!!! The beds semi uncomfortable!!! read more

Pros: Absolutely loved my stay at Caribe Cove. Booked a 2 bedroom 2 bath Aruba room. Very spacious and clean. Full kitchen, washer & dryer and porch. Nice size pool and friendly staff. Very quiet considering its a little off the main roads but thats ok. Cons: Lack of amenities would be the only downfall for me especially with kids. Just checked in and I'll update more later. The rooms are very spacious and everything seems clean. However, major updates needed! Couch cushions are so worn they look like something you find at a yard sale. Wicker furniture is peeling and tattered. Carpet is very worn and stained. TVs in bedrooms are super small and the one in living area is small and not a flat screen. The $80+ tax cleaning fee is really high considering we're here just 2 nights. Do like the large and small screened terraces and layout. Price was ok but a little high given that they aren't updating the rooms. We first looked here years ago when everything was new. This resort isn't bad but you should stay at Bahama Bay up the street. It is, like this place, owned by Wyndam. It has all the positives, more amenities and the same price. My family and I stayed at Bahama Bay last year and loved it. But we wanted to try something new so we stayed at this place. There were less amenities here with nothing better. When we went to our room, we went down a creepy, dark hallway that's only lit at night. Yeah... Not so inviting. The reason I added a second star is because of the amenities it DID have and the nice rooms (on the inside, anyway.) The third is for how easy it was easy it was to move. Wow 1st time here and the family loved it. Room was huge 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms. Had a screened in porch and all the amenities of home. When here you are a little ways away from most of the main attractions but it's worth it. It was super quiet and laid back. Way better than the more conjested areas closer to Orlando. The 3 bedroom is the best way to go. Spacious and nice. BUT, **attention ladies in particular** my unit (and possibly all of them) did not come with a hair dryer and something simple like... bars of soap. And the pillows are awful AND once you're out of toilet paper, you have to buy your own after. Compared to all my other timeshares, I thought it was odd to not have extra towels, toilet paper, soap, etc. Be prepared to clean your place before you leave as they charge you. read more

I stayed in the 3/2 villa and i had a wonderful time! The villa is absolutely beautiful. It felt like Home away from Home! Check in and Check out was smooth with no hidden fees or problems. The rooms were spacious and clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location is good, it is approximately 30 minutes away from Universal Studios and the Disney parks. Grocery stores and restaurants are approx. 10 mins away from the resort. My only complaint was the beds were a little hard and the TV's are dated. Other than that it was perfect. I HIGHLY recommend this resort. A lot of space for a low price. read more

The check in/out has been the most smooth transaction I've ever experienced with any hotel. The place was a spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom aparment. Clean with everything available for a comfortable stay. Wish the pool would have been open all night but other than that it was clean and spacious . I am reviewing at a 2 for the after effect of the stay. The original stay was great!! Very clean room, newly shampooed carpet the day we arrived. Great amenities and great price! HOWEVER, a week after we left our card was charged $500....when calling to find out why, we were given "You didn't pay for it". Number one, that makes no sense, why you wouldn't say anything when we arrived or checked out and Number two, we paid 3 months in advance. That being said, after going back and forth the money was returned as "Oops our mistake". Ok, cool, we will let it slide. THEN IT HAPPENED AGAIN!! Now, when I call you and state here we go again, our card was charged and you get smart!!!! No not okay. We were charged $500 AGAIN that is ridiculous and now have to cut off the card that we have everything connected to because we can't afford to have this happen a 3rd week in a row. The office is seriously incompetent and we won't be back because of this issue!! read more

Got here late at night- booked vacation months in advance and two person bed was broken! Completely broken and unusable. Went to the front desk and was given no assistance or compensation whatsoever. Very disappointed and a bad start to our family vacation!! read more

Suite was clean and they did their best to have our rooms clean as soon as possible since we checked in earlier than planned. Pleasantly surprised by how nice everything was given my sister in-law (super cheap person) recommends this place. Our room is next to the pond and all I can say is that the wildlife never shuts up. Very close to Disney parks. Worst wifi service ever. Couldn't keep a signal and kept getting kicked off. Aside from that our stay was pleasant enough. read more

SCAM AVOID BEWARE Recently booked online only to find that they ADDED fees at time of check in! ADDED a "room cleaning" fee of $80! When the room with tax online listed for $100 this nearly double the charge. When I complained they said they couldn't give a refund and it happens all the time! Manager could not or would not show up on property to deal with my complaint. Not professional and my opinion clearly not an honest company. This appears to be a condo not a hotel. Yes the rooms are large but if you are budget minded or prefer to deal with honest people avoid them! read more
