So extremely disappointed in our experience here. We waited over 25 minutes for 3 breakfast sandwiches and a muffin. When we finally got our order and jumped back on the interstate, my daughter and I took a bite of our sandwiches only to find they were both FROZEN!! Frustrating and such a waste of $35. read more

Their milk flavored iced water so called "raspberry green tea bubble tea" was very refreshing, but not really worth of 5 dollars. I understand they were out of bubbles, but maybe they should have told me they were out of raspberry flavor, milk and green tea. Anyways, it was still refreshing if you wanted an iced water, and definitely enough ice. read more

Stopped in the AM on 7 Aug to enjoy my favorite coffee (Caribou Coffee) and bagels. Can't beat Einstein's bagels and Caribou Coffee and we were not disappointed! Excellent! When we left Mitchell on our way back to St Louis, we noticed that although we paid for a dozen bagels (bakers dozen =13), we only received 10!!!! Not a big deal, but we were hundreds of miles away before we caught this. Come on, you can do better! Management/franchisee, better wake up before you mess up a very good thing. read more

I was on my way through Mitchell in the midst of a very long family vacation. The server/barista obviously could tell I was frustrated dealing with my two little boys and gave me a dozen bagels and some cream cheese for free. This is the 1620 S Burr location. Love the bagels, coffee and location. Seems that they have a problem finding employees that work well with customers, also the service is unbelievably slow! For a corporate shop I would expect more than the local franchise shops which by the way the County Fair Caribou shop is Amazing! read more

Consistently terrible service. Stand and wait at the counter to be noticed, no apology for the wait. Have had to go back and remind them that I ordered coffee along with my sandwich more than once. Then wait another 3 to 5 minutes for a cup of black coffee. Good food and coffee, eventually though. Service should be better by now. read more

Yikes. I've been going to this location for about a year and I get the same thing every time. They mess up the drink about 50% of the time. Today was no different. When I saw and tasted my drink I knew it wasn't made right. I swung around the drive through again, apologized, and told them my drink didn't taste right. They said they would remake it. A girl was at the window and asked me how I wanted my drink made. I explained the way it SHOULD be made and how I always get it made (and how anyone else that orders that drink too should have it made). She said okay and she took the old drink to make me a new one. A few minutes later, the lady who handed me my drink the first time opened the window, handed me my drink, and said "we just made it with half the espresso because it was probably just too strong for you." Then, before I could say anything, she shut the window and walked away while I sat there with a drink that was made wrong again in my hand. Anyone who drinks and PAYS for coffee, knows that you don't just take away half of someone's espresso and not reimburse them or remedy the fact that you just made their drink wrong AGAIN. I didn't ask for half of the espresso, they just did it without asking and basically stated that they didn't make the drink wrong the first time and it was just too strong for me. I've been spending almost $6.50 for a drink that is usually made wrong and I have to embarrassingly ask them to remake most of the time. I don't like or enjoy asking them to remake it, but when you pay $6.50 for one drink you expect to get what you asked for. I will never go here again. read more

I have been here at least a dozen times. By 10 am they are usually sold out of the cinnamon and sugar bagel which has been repeatedly expressed to me by the staff that it is the most popular. I am perplexed as to why they wouldn't make more of these knowing they sell out so early. It is frustrating to drive through the awful construction only to be told they are sold out. The person who is taking orders in drive up is always upbeat and very friendly which makes you feel a little better since you can't get your favorite bagel! This same person usually takes your money too.... then that person disappears and your are left to receive your bagel that looks like it has been dropped in the floor rolled around with cream cheese stepped on and left with cream cheese all over the outside of the little wrap they put it in. Just what every person wants all over their clothes just before they go to work. Don't drive away either until you ask for a napkin which they never give unless you ask. You will need not one of their itty bitty teeny napkins... but at least a half dozen! The bagel always tastes good but the mess you get isn't worth the hassle! Really wish that great person who takes order and money would be the same person handing me the food I ordered. A little pride in their work would make this place much much better. read more
