I booked the Caricature Artists Group way in advance for my birthday party because I like to be prepared in advanced and have things in order. So I spoke to Marie, the owner of the company, and mailed her my down payment. Then COVID hit, so I had to postpone my party. Marie was sooooo accommodating and patient with me, I just truly appreciate her professionalism and stellar customer service throughout the entire process. Finally! I was able to reschedule my party and the two artists from the company arrived to my party at the scheduled time to set-up. My guests loved them! The line stayed popping the entire time they were there. They were scheduled for 2 hours but I noticed my guests were still in line to get their portraits drawn towards the end of their scheduled time, so my event planner asked if they could stay for another hour. Only one artist was available, but the available artist graciously extended the time for my guests. The work that they presented to my guests was fun, light hearted, and added that bright spot to my party! Very welcomed! I contacted Marie the next day to thank her and mentioned that I didn't get a chance to get my portrait drawn from all the running around I was doing at the party. She graciously told me to send her a selfie and she would make sure she would draw a portrait of me and would mail it to me. Customer Service on 100! I love it! Marie is a portrait type caricature artist so her caricatures are so spot on and real. We have a wall of caricatures at our office. We had Caricature Artists Group join us for a recent celebration event, and they were a fantastic addition! We had two artists for two hours, and they were a huge hit. The drawings looked great, and everyone seemed so please to have a fun & different keepsake from our event. We hired Caricature Artists Group for a resident event and both the caricaturist, Audrey, and balloon artist, Mindy, worked non-stop throughout the event. I asked Audrey at the start of the event if she could do a caricature of my two nephews together from a picture I had. She said she could, but then people started lining up for her, so she never got a chance to do one for me during the event. She stayed after the event to complete the caricature of my nephews. It was so amazing of her to do that for me. I truly appreciate it and I love the picture. Everyone was showing off their caricature to the other people at the event and everyone was very pleased with their pictures. "She's really good" was heard quite a bit. Mindy, the balloon artist was amazing. Most people, including adults, had a balloon headband or balloon corsage. Everyone was very impressed with the level of skill? balloon-ablility? that Mindy exhibited . Everyone I spoke to agreed these were not the balloon animals of our childhood. The ladies from this company did an AMAZING job at my daughters first birthday party. The guests (the little ones ) were very excited, fascinated and absolutely loved the face painting. Mindy's attention to detail, the unique creations and extra "pizzazz" with the jewels and the glitter were beautiful! The kiddos were raving! The guests (the adults) absolutely loved the keepsake of having a frame-able caricature photo. Audrey was very patient, kind, and made the most beautiful unique photos, adding special touches to include color for my daughters 1st birthday and a Frozen-themed caricature photo for another family. Both ladies were very professional, punctual and just overall amazing. We truly appreciate these ladies for making this event SO special. We hired Marie to cut silhouettes for our wedding. She did a fantastic job and all our guests commented on how talented she was, as well as what a fun idea it was to have a silhouette artist at the wedding. There was a line the whole time and we have a wonderful guest book now with silhouettes of our guests and sweet notes. Marie is great and her price is reasonable. If I could do one thing differently I would have hired her for longer so more guests could have had their silhouettes done! read more
