I love…read morerunning, and with the help of various therapists at Dresher PT, I've eventually overcome knee injuries, a turned ankle, hamstring tears, foot surgery, and ITB injuries. (I am not clumsy - I've just been running for a long time.) Last year, Donna guided me through a hamstring tear that helped me recover in time to run my dream Marathon! I've worked with several of their therapists; they are patient, understanding, personable, and explain injury avoidance as well as treatment in a way that isn't patronizing. Okay, I should stretch more, and they're always teasing me about that (deservedly). But every couple of years when I get one injury or another, new or recurring, I know where to turn. I don't hesitate to recommend anyone - whatever their injury - to their care.

She provided me with exercises as well as functional tips to minimize pain when performing daily activities. She listened to my concerns and adapted exercises to my individual lifestyle. No "cookie cutter" approach here! If you are seeking a 5 star experience with knowledgeable and caring staff then schedule your appointment with DPT today. You will be glad you did!

She is a seasoned professional who has done so much for me over the last 6 weeks! I have had foot neuropathy and balance problems for a long time. Recently I had major back surgery at HUP. After recovering, I needed help to learn to walk again. Finally, I made an appointment with Margaret for a very long evaluation along with testing. She recognized my problems, identified a few more, and put together a comprehensive plan to address my many problems together. Every member of her staff is kind, competent, and caring. They work with clients one-on-one. I feel supported, motivated, and cared-for as I learn how to feel better and stronger. I read and often rely upon reviews from others for all sorts of things. I am writing this to recommend highly this PT practice. Check out their website & you tube video for detailed info. about them. I researched an awful lot of PT practices, then even dropped in on a few to get a feel of the place. So glad that I found this one!

My therapist, Dr. Val Davi, was smart, professional, and personable. She made my twice weekly visits a lot of fun, plus I always left with exercises I could do to improve my balance to reduce my risk of falling. I also have occasional vertigo so I'll be going back when and if that re-appears. I highly recommend this facility (and Val!). You can't do any better.

Don't go here if you have a complex condition, like hEDS or another hypermobility condition. At…read morethe time (this was over a year ago) I came in not yet diagnosed as hEDS, but made them aware that I was in the process and the issues I was having. My script was for whole spine PT. The person they gave me really seemed not to know what to do with that, and it seemed clear very quickly that she didn't want to deal with me. She was verbally abusive to me when I said I couldn't do certain exercises (I couldn't) or was having trouble with them. She seemed irritated or something that she couldn't just give me exercises and go. I often was overseen by a tech or another PT, the latter often giving me helpful tips bc they could see I was struggling. She didn't remember I had no at-home exercises (which I thought was weird - that I had none), and when she asked me if I was doing them, I looked at her like - what? It took several sessions before I asked where to get the stretchy bands and she goes "oh, we sell them here." Why would you not say that in the first place? I kept debating whether to just leave, but thought I'd "tough it out." Never again. The last straw was when she put me on a leg press or something and tried to start me at 50lbs. After I was still struggling with the other exercises. I said I could not do 50 lbs., and she berated me. But i did get less than that. After one day doing the press and something else new, I honestly could not move. I spent the day laying on the couch bc my back was rigid. I never went back. I cancelled my next appointment, and then got a call the day I was supposed to go wondering where I was. Wish I'd cancelled sooner.
