We can't say enough wonderful things about Dr mike . He was amazing with the kids Made sure they were not afraid and fixed them right up . Great experience. Top notch Dr . Dr. Cavanaugh and Dr. Steve have wonderful bedside manner. My husband and I have recommended many other families here great doctors wonderful staff.

I would like to warn future patients who are in pain. Me: Approx 6 years back, went to see the P.A. Cavanaugh for back pain after childbirth. I had badly thrown out my back after 6 months of having my first child. He told me to take ibuprofen and do some exercises. Fast forward, I go to see my neurologist and he is able to prescribe me medication that will loosen up muscles and then sends me to physical therapy that got me squared away. Husband: Approx 1 year ago, my husband tolerating back pain for over 1 year until finally he can't get out of bed and needs to see a doctor. I make an appointment at the only place I know and the only available physician is Cavanaugh. He takes X-rays and tells my husband to take ibuprofen and then stretch. I find this ridiculous since he can't move. Coincidentally my husband has his annual appointment with our family doctor who prescribes him a 5-day steroid pack and my husband is finally able to get himself feeling well enough to stretch, and do back exercises that were given to him by our family doctor. He's back to running and being pain-free after over a year. Me: Approx 6 months ago my wrist was giving me a ton of pain. I couldn't even hold my 4 year old's hand while walking because it would give me shooting pains. Couldn't put any weight on it and even wearing a splint didn't help. I go to see the only available physician (Cavanaugh) who took X-rays and told me to take ibuprofen. I then press him and finally he gives me a steroid shot that might have provided a bit of relief but 5 days later, back to it. My sister in law tells me to see a hand specialist. In the first 2 min of that appt, the hand doc has me bend both wrists down and he sees a lump. I had a ganglion cyst that was causing the pain which he drained on the spot and told me to come see him if it returns. Point of the story...I wanted to think that this practice/doctor's misdiagnosis and recommendations were a fluke...but there is a consistent pattern of failure here. Will not return. Esp after the hand specialist asked me where I went and all I got out was "Wissahickon..." and he finished the name for me. I was informed that this practice has a reputation amongst doctors of being terrible. Enough said.

His combination of sports massage and acupuncture prevents me from resorting to prescription pain killers or surgery. And he's a super nice guy, too. A good listener. He asks you what your goals are and works with you. I used to see him in his previous Center city location. Then I moved 20 miles west. I can get to either location in about 45 minutes (without traffic), but the drive to Chestnut Hill is far less stressful, and street parking is free and unlimited south of Germantown Ave. Looking forward to my next session.

So far, so good. I booked an appointment using the site's app, simple, for the 750 S. 15th Street location at Six Fishes. I was able to book 8:30AM on a Saturday. I signed up for the massage sans acupuncture this time but will definitely go for both next time. Chad is an excellent massage therapist, pinpointing and working on several areas that have been plaguing me for months. He also has a very good personal manner, first asking about trouble spots, then getting to work. I'd say this was one of the best massages I've had, it really helped with the pain and was as easy to book and get to as can be. I'll definitely be back.

During my time in therapy, I constantly complained about my inability to keep my balance. Basically the young inexperienced staff ignored me as if I was an actress. When my evaluation was done (on a rainy day), the pt kept telling me I was progressing doing very well. I explained to her that both my legs was hurting and the weather only makes it worst! She then scheduled me to come in the following week. I went to my doctor and he sent me to get X-rays. After my X-rays, I was sent to Einstein Orthopedic where I was given steriods shots in both my knees and a brace to help walk until my surgery. I was referred to Moss Rehab for therapy. The doctor here wrote me a prescription for a cane and work directly with me to strengthen my legs muscles. Unlike Ivy who just leave you on your own and ignore your concerns
