I have been receiving PT from Wallace and Nilan Flourtown on and off for more than ten years (for various problems in Achilles, elbow, shoulder and knee tendons). Drew Wallace and Brittany Kozitzky have been absolutely superb as physical therapists and they are also unfailingly kind and considerate people (as all of the other PTs and staff also are - it is a very congenial and supportive environment). The aides who assist the PTs with the application of heat and oversight of exercises have always been courteous, attentive, responsive and responsible about when to consult Drew or Brittany with a question. My gratitude toward Drew and Brittany and Wallace and Nilan in general runs deep as some of my ailments, especially the Achilles tendonopathy, had resisted treatment over many, many years to the point of recovery feeling like a lost cause. But when one technique or set of exercises doesn't do the trick, they always persevere and are knowledgeable and ingenious about new approaches to try. Thanks to this perseverance and refusal ever to give up, and W&N's extraordinarily skilled and knowledgeable PTs, I am fully recovered (and in the most recent case on the verge of completing recovery) from all of the injuries for which they have treated me - I'm even back to running, which I thought I would never be able to do. Well when I fell in June of 2016 I had a choice in therapy places and Wallace & Nilan was the closest since I couldn't drive far, and it has become a match made in heaven starting with Ali who un froze my leg then Dipti who continued with my leg until I had surgery on my left hip, the labrum and deep tissue groin tear, in May of 2017. In June I met Sean and he has made my transition from a severe limp to now a not so severe limp and has made my core much stronger with his various exercises for stretching and strengthening. He also changes things by adding new exercises and removing others. I still limp after a year of therapy but that is because I have another surgery pending. Sean has been knowledgeable about my injuries and has always steered me in the right direction and always shows concern for my pain and is always trying new ways to reduce my pain. Drew has also showed concern for what I have been going through and I am not his patient. That shows that all the staff has a vested interest in all the patients and definitely make everyone feel comfortable. And I have met so many nice people there, sometimes the social aspect supersedes the actual therapy. I would recommend this place to all my family and friends. Because I happen to be an accident prone individual this is my second time going through physical therapy with Wallace and Nilan PT and I would not choose another place. I have worked with Brittany both when I attended for my broken arm and this time for my ankle injury. I always feel that I can bring up my thoughts/concerns with any of the therapists/aides and they are well received. When I mentioned that I was having trouble with my knee my therapist recommended what I should do about contacting my orthopedic doctor and adjusted some of the exercises to work both areas. Everyone has always been hospitable and friendly. I am greeted with a smile and friendly conversation every visit. Even when the place is hopping with business everyone works to make sure the clients are well taken care of and moving forward with their therapy. If I look as though I am stuck on an exercise or need help or direction the other therapists are quick to jump in an help even though I am not their client. This is the "go to" for top notch PT. By way of background, I am an avid long distance runner. Ironically on a family hike, I broke my ankle which required surgery. Physical Therapy commenced in the middle of March. Right from the outset, Brittany K. identified my goal and tailored a tremendous program/road map to get back in running form. Brittany and the rest of the W&N staff/colleagues are true professionals with a deep and expansive knowledge base. The progress monitoring is founded on precise, individual attention (each person is different). W&N truly have the capacity to care for a wide variety of age groups, fitness levels and injuries. I have been coming to Wallace and Nilan for a couple of years for different injuries and Brittany was my physical therapist. She HEALED me. I was struggling and really wanted to get back to playing my sports and the comforting and welcoming environment of Wallace and Nilan got me back on the field. Every time I walked inside I was greeted with a friendly smile and asked about how I was doing and what was hurting. My family has tried several other PT places, but after coming to Wallace and Nilan, I will never go anywhere else. Brittany always talked to me and asked me about my plans or life or how my family was doing, because she cares, they all care. If you are looking for a physical therapy center with a great atmosphere and experienced trainers then look no further. Every time I have gone for therapy, which has been quite a lot, I am always treated with respect and I feel I am receiving the best care in the area. I did not know if I would be able to recover from my devastating shoulder injury, but because of my trainer and all those who have helped me perform my workouts I am ahead of schedule in the healing process. My only complaint is that one of the trainers (I believe his name is Mike or Mitch) brags about himself a little much. Yet, he is still a very nice gentleman and a true professional. This was my first time receiving physical therapy, which I received for a lower back strain. Sean was my physical therapist, but I also worked with one other therapist and a few of the aides. Sean was excellent - professional, knowledgeable, friendly, effective, and very flexible with scheduling. I was back to normal within a few weeks, and learned some exercises to help prevent the injury from reoccurring. I can't recommend Sean enough. The facility was clean and orderly. Everyone that I interacted with was friendly and helpful. While I hope to never need physical therapy again, if I do, I would not hesitate to come back to Wallace & Nilan Flourtown. read more

As I experienced twice before, Ivy Rehab in Flourtown has excellent therapists, who are attentive constantly to each of their patients, providing hands-on therapy, stretching and strengthening routines, in an absolutely enjoyable atmosphere of music, conversations, laughter and smiles. Justin Manhoff, Flourtown's wonderful vertigo and headache specialist, has helped me tremendously, lessening my headaches in just one month. He just "does his job" as he says. This is my second experience with PT in the last few years (first time for a foot/ankle injury and this time for a hip injury) and I must admit I went into my first session with doubts as my first PT experience was not wonderful. The staff at Wallace & Nilan immediately alleviated all of those doubts. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable and it's truly a family atmosphere. I had bad tendinitis in my Achilles for a few years, and was advised to go to Wallace and Nilan for a while after meeting with doctors. I am glad that I did. Really comfortable atmosphere and a great, welcoming staff. John Vercher had a plan to help me fix my feet and we worked together to reach that goal - that was key. He didn't just tell me to do exercises and leave - he gauged my comfort level after every workout and made tweaks where needed based on how I was recovering. This was a really great PT experience for me. All of the people here are really nice, very professional and extremely kind and patient. I worked with John, and after a few weeks of targeted and varied excercises I ended up pain-free and with a take-home program that I feel is reasonable and will keep me strong and on-track. I have been in physical therapy for 4 months to strengthen my muscles before knee replacement surgery and for 5 months post surgery. I have been seen by Drew Wallace and Eric Choi. They are both superb physical therapists. Not only are they extremely knowledgeable and creative they listened carefully to my many questions and deal with any anxiety I have about progress. Excellent physical therapy for my 11 year old son! Our therapist John explained everything to both of us very clearly. He gave detailed instructions and simple exercises to do at home. He was patient and thorough. He was also very flexible with his schedule and accommodated a working mom's schedule. The facility is beautiful -- very clean. I've been receiving PT for the past 2 months post knee replacement. It has been a very difficult process due to my having a "stiff knee". Sean has been incredibly supportive and accommodating.
