If you are seeking a therapist who you can be comfortable with and trust completely, contact Jill immediately! Like many of you reading this, I, too, was on yelp searching for someone who I could connect to and who would be able to see the essence of who I am through the murky angst I was suffering from. After reading the reviews for Jill's practice, I forced myself to give her a call and was so relieved to get a quick response. I was able to get an appointment and knew immediately that Jill was someone who I would be able to trust and confide in. I started seeing Jill weekly back in January of 2018 (again, she is life changing). Jill helped me to begin to work through so many different issues that I was finding difficulty in overcoming (self identity, parental issues, anxiety, etc.). She allowed me to cry, share my thoughts aloud, let things go, breathe, challenge myself, and so much more. It is because of Jill's understanding and encouragement that I began to heal myself. Jill has so many wonderful traits that I will never be able to put in words for anyone who is reading this review. She allows you to do the work while guiding you through your thoughts and emotions. I felt like an actual human and not a case file during my sessions with her. She is such a grounded, badass woman who has one of the most kind spirited personalities. Jill communicates clearly and in a way that you sure to understand. In short, if you are seeking a therapist, contact Jill Lewis. She is a wonderful human being (seriously an understatement)! If you're willing to do the work, she will meet your commitment tenfold. Contact her now! It will not be a decision that you regret! You deserve to feel whole!

About a year ago, I wrote a review for Jill on here and it was flagged and eventually deleted,…read moreprobably because I hadn't written any other Yelp reviews and wasn't very active on the site.. So here I am, re-posting one, which in itself should help you understand how important this is. Let me try to recall what I had previously written: Having been to many therapists - some when I didn't really want the help and some after I decided I wanted to get healthy. What I've come to realize is that Jill is the absolute best therapist, but ONLY if you are ready to get help. If you don't want to get help and if you plan on lying through your sessions, you won't like her. What I mean by that is she's not dumb and you're not fooling her, even if you think you are. And if you're trying, it's just a waste of money. I'm not saying this from experience. In fact, when I had Jill as an individual therapist as well as group therapist, I was more than ready to be in a better place. I know this because even in my willing mind, it was challenging. I find myself to be pretty well connected to my emotions, how I'm feeling and why, my upbringing, relationships, etc etc..and even still, Jill was able to make so many connections that I hadn't. I felt I knew the ins and outs of how therapy works, and I addressed that with Jill. I questioned what she was thinking about what I was saying and talked about myself as an individual vs myself as a patient. I was able to bring up the topic of therapy as well as all of the issues that brought me there in the first place. Jill's office became a place where no subject was off limits. I know it seems like that is what therapy should be, but very rarely have I felt comfortable enough with a therapist to really open up. As much as I may have made it seem like she's tough, she's also one of the nicest people I've ever met, especially in her industry. I have been in a healthy relationship for 3 years and just got engaged. I have thru-hiked the entire Appalachian Trail last year, and am currently writing this review from the Pacific Crest Trail. I am strong enough to physically, mentally, and emotionally be able to participate in the lifestyle that I love, alongside a person I love - two things I would have never been able to do had it not been for Jill. If you are living in Atlanta or in the surrounding area, know that there is a fantastic therapist that is very missed in New York and who is sure to change lives wherever she goes.. And if you go to her, tell her I say hi :)

I suffer from chronic physical health issues - which this provider says she specializes in - as…read morewell as a number of mental health issues. After a year of visits, I had not made any progress or gotten any better. It was difficult to make appointments with her. If I had to cancel due to an unexpected migraine or other health issue, they did not care and charged me a missed office fee, even though I would let them know as soon as I could that I was not going to make it. The office staff was terrible. They were rude and uncaring. They stopped allowing me to make more than 1 appt at a time, with no explanation. (Again, it was very difficult to get in to see Ms. Smith, so it was important to make as many appointments as far in advance as possible.) I would be put on hold for a long time. When I got the answering service instead of staff, messages were not relayed. Upon reflection after the fact, I realize that I was unable to be honest with Ms. Smith about my needs and feelings. Also, most importantly, as the office staff was throttling my ability to see my therapist, I was in a severe suicidal phase, and Ms. Smith did not notice. The office staff did not care. Thankfully I found another provider who took me seriously and helped me out of that suicidal ideation.

Okay first of all, you must be in alignment with God or atleast desire to be to have somewhat of…read moresuccess at Keystone Counseling Center (KCC) that's my own personal opinion not KCC's. However, I was spiraling out of control with my temper, words that I would use, and things I would say to almost anyone. I knew that wasn't me, but I also knew I wanted to change, who wouldn't? I researched for the best counselor and by George, I got her. Dr. Margaret Weaver is better than a bag of chips. I was on her waiting list for almost 3 months. When the receptionist called I knew it was either now or never. Dr. Weaver is kind, unopinionated, she listens carefully, and she provides great feedback. Her feedback and most of all her prayers has helped me in a major way. I started seeing Dr. Weaver August of 2019 (I believe) at first I was embarrassed and didn't want anyone to see me or know that I was going to a therapist, yeah I got over that real quick. Whatever I am going through God grants Dr. Weaver the right things to say to me. She has helped me with relationships at work, with my sister and I am a better person today because of her. She has a very calming spirit, one that I can appreciate. I take notes with my phone, just in case I forget something and especially during tough situations, I will review my notes from Dr. Weaver and automatically I have a new approach on how to deal with the situation. I appreciate her prayers before and after each session. Again, you have to have some sort of relationship with God to be successful at KCC, but that's my opinion. During my research for a therapist, I read where Dr. Weaver came highly recommended. My desire was to have an experienced, knowledgeable, well credentialed therapist and Dr. Weaver has surpassed all of that. I am a much better person because of her. One down fall and it has absolutely nothing to do with Dr. Weaver, the building design is a little dated, it could use a face lift, if you can get past that which I suggest you do...Dr. Weaver is it!
