It was just great as promised and expected: the Executive Director, Mary Noss, was very thorough and gave us a complete tour of that Real Luxury Assisted Living facility. You cannot expect better. The Office Staff, the Servers respectful friendliness and care. Unfortunately, my wife had a very hard time adjusting , wanting " to go home ". As we are in our very late nineties, I have to keep her happy, and we advised Mary of our reluctant decision to leave. Looking for the finest care for your loved ones? Heritage Waterside is the place to go. My dad has…read morebeen a resident there for almost 2 months. He's 96 and is enjoying his independence, living in such a wonderful environment. He calls it the SS Heritage because it reminds him of being on a cruise ship. Mary Noss the executive director is a GEM! I went to visit the facility on a Sunday afternoon without an appointment. Mary was at home on her day off. One of the sweetest residents was sitting near the front entrance and told the staff member to show me HER apartment after she overheard I was looking to see a one bedroom. I was given a wonderful tour and was told to call Mary before I left. I didn't want to bother her on her day off, but they insisted. I sat for 20 minutes in my car, talking to a true angel. Mary listened to my concerns and assured me THEY would be the best place for my father to thrive. I met with her on Monday and took my dad with me. We had a thorough tour, a DELICIOUS lunch in their dining room with a view of the intracoastal, met some residents who welcomed us with open arms, and were introduced to many of the staff members who my dad would come to love in record time. My dad who had been living on his own and still driving at the age of 96 had his world ripped out from under him after falling in his home. He has worked hard to get his speech, fine motor skills, and ability to walk again restored, which is nothing shy of a miracle. Our second miracle was finding Heritage Waterside where he has been able to go back to his independent living status with the help of his in- house physical therapy and the fantastic care he has received in his new home. BRAVO to Mary and ALL THE STAFF!!!!! Each and every person he is in contact with on a daily basis is helping him live his best life. If I could rate them as a 10, I would still give them an 11.
