This review is about a car we purchased in Montreal, Quebec, Canada! Way up north. 5 stars for convenience 5 stars for the quality of service 4 stars for what they inspected 2 stars for the technician we spoke with on the phone Although I couldn't schedule an inspection for a specific time of day, it was eassy to set up the inspection. We purchased from a used car dealer and told CarInspect who & where they were. We called the dealer to let them know CarInspect was coming. The next day -- and this is the frustrating part -- we got a call from the supposed technician would oversaw the inspection. He couldn't answer any questions and I was given to believe that CarInspect had not done _anything_! I thought this was ridiculous and didn't get over it until they sent me the inspection report by email. Then I saw the report and was quite pleased with the result. My car was inspected by Benoît and I was present during the inspection. Benoit did a thorough inspection even though my is quite recent. He did not skip or miss out on anything. He gave me lots of advise and comments on what was going on and how to take care of my car. He was very patient and answered all of my questions and concern and reassured me on the doubts that I had and he was very open about everything. Benoît went above and beyond and I am extremely pleased and satisfied with the inspection - I couldn't have asked for a better person to do this inspection with me. The person that came out to look at my truck was a named Nick Collins. He was very patient and understanding as I asked several questions while he spend quite a bit of time doing a thorough inspection inside and outside of my vehicle . He took several pictures under the truck under the wheel wells, in the back front and interior, even the top of the roof.. In general, it's a very convenient service that does the same inspection you would get anywhere else. I just started driving the car I got inspected, I will report if I find any issues that they did not point out during the inspection. It is a bit more expensive than your normal Canadian tire inspection but it is far more convenient. read more
