It is mandated if you live in their housing, not optional.

He's got the right to publish it but it is ignorant at best and is the sort of spew that could keep a person from going in when that person really would benefit from treatment here. People go here because they are not able to stop using at home on their own. It's a big deal to be ready to stop using street drugs so shut your yap and quit judging something you know nothing about. Then the one presumably from someone who works at the bar Next door. She complains about car stereos and people puking. I've been coming here 5 years and have never seen a parking lot puker but I'm sure it happens. I bet it happens way more at the bar you work in but we aren't here during bar hours so don't see it. But I guarantee it's worse than ITS. Besides ITS is saving folks from their demons not settling them up with their demons night after night. If I were the Decider, you'd lose this argument. The other 1 star reviews are all the same person I think, complaining about issues within the clinic. Sounds like frustrating crap for sure but this isn't the place to vent. Yes there are rules and sometimes they aren't applied fairly. This is usually the nature of the beast-- they can't give any of us patients the benefit of the doubt because any of us could be lying. Don't take it personally. I had a similar issue years back but staff is so much more professional in my opinion these days ( or maybe I am just growing up as evidenced by my zero tolerance for drama). If you have a personal gripe don't post on Yelp- be cool. You could literally be the only reason that some person out there who read what you wrote and used it to justify not starting treatment today dies from overdose tomorrow. Seriously !! I put up with how awful their policies were because their counselor Deb was amazing, she was the only good thing about that place. Deb has now left & so did many patients & here's why: If you do chose to go here & want to dose anytime in the afternoon. Make sure you've got at LEAST 45 min to an hour to wait in line for the nurse. She's so slow & could care less about your time or schedule. The worst part about ITS (& we left) is their made up policies & terrible administration. If you follow their program to a T & want to get your privileges. (take home doses) they will do anything & everything to make this nearly impossible. Examples of this.... " you didn't have a urinalysis for the month" but the reason why is because the nurses don't do them because they are too lazy. you're required to meet with your counselor at least 1 hour per month. No exceptions. But you only come in 2x a month & your counselors not there those 2 days? Too bad! Or even better now that Deb left there is NO COUNSELOR for you to even see! Wanna make an appointment to see a counselor? Good luck! I called earlier this week to schedule an appointment to see a counselor (since I went in & was told one wasn't even there anymore) when I called I was told "we don't schedule appointments to see counselors, you just gotta come in & wait" I asked what if there are multiple people & have prior obligations that can't be missed? She literally said "too bad. You've gotta just wait" and then HUNG UP ON ME. They don't care if you've got a life. Just sit & wait. If you manage to jump through all those hoops they'll still deny you & make up some b.s reason every single time. I've had them literally change their privilege policies on a whim just so I can be denied. Wanna submit a grievance about all this? Good luck! I submitted a formal grievance & the admin it was given to...well it was her last day. So what did she do with it? She threw it in the TRASH. Didn't even give it to the proper person. So I emailed it to admin from the website. Their response? NOTHING. I was reprimanded for contacting upper management & got not a single response regarding my concerns. Why? You may ask? Why would a provider be so awful & make it impossible to get your hard earned privileges?? MONEY!! It's all about that $$$. See the more you are forced to come in the more they can bill! That's why you are forced to see your counselor 1 hour per month. They bill for each 15 min! I work in insurance (billing specifically) & know their scams. If you have privileges they don't make as much $$$ & that's all that matter to admins. Not your recovery. I hope this saves someone some hassle & frustration. Learn from ours. Cuz I've been through it all....Go to CMS or a private pay clinic. This clinic only cares about your money and could care less about your recovery.

(Intensive Outpatient Program) at ITS Main when I came back in 2018 because of cross-addiction issues. I have seen a few Clinic Mgr.'s come and go that have run IOP. Many of us remember Jeremiah Brewer, whom showed up in January 2018 as Clinic Mgr. at ITS Main. He started what has become the program now, a very thorough maintenance program. He could be a saving grace for a lot of us - prior to him working there, there was NO IOP at ITS Main! The kind-hearted counselor he was, (and the lack of proficient counselors at the time at ITS Main) most of us will never forget him at ITS Main! We also had a great guy named Francis who was manager for almost a year at this clinic. He also brought a healthy approach of counseling at Main. Most recently, in September '20, we received Lutitia aka Tish as our ITS Main Clinic Manager. She has a totally different counseling style from the last two managers, she is an assertive and thorough counselor whom I can see already doing great things for all of her clients we in the future of this clinic! They all had different types of counseling styles and all share good tools for us to use as addicts, to add to our 'tools to live by'. It doesn't matter if you have an addiction to heroin or any different type of opiates, as I did or meth, alcohol, etc. All of the counselors at ITS Main are all thoroughly experienced in their own way, no matter what the drug, etc. or college or training degree.

Patients of all ages come to your facility seeking genuine behavioral and mental health support. These individuals are acknowledging their conditions and actively seeking professional help, which should be met with compassion, dignity, and respect. I have grave concerns regarding the lack of empathy and professionalism displayed by this staff member, as this behavior appears inconsistent with the standard of safe, respectful, and adequate patient care that should be upheld. I respectfully ask that this matter be taken seriously to help preserve a culture of professionalism, compassion, and accountability within your organization. Patients of all ages deserve sincere care, understanding, and support during vulnerable times in their lives. At this time, based on my understanding, no accountability action but a signed form was given regarding the involvement of the employee.
