I asked if they had a mask I could have because I didn't have any I just traveled 35 miles from Danville Illinois. They yell back at me said "we don't have masks for the general public". I said " I don't want to cancel my appointment but what else should I do?" The Rude lady that was later identified as Mary "office manager" said "I will cancel it no problem at all" with a real bad attitude. So I left went out in the parking lot talked to an African female and she said she worked there then a African male came up to my truck and said he was a Doctor and he owned the clinic." He said " come on back in I'll get you a mask. " I said "I was I just denied service by 2 of your receptionists at the front and one of them didn't even have a mask on as she was walking through the clinic and I would not go back into a clinic that I was just treated rudely and disrespected until he got rid of those 2 ladies because obviously they don't care. " I called back the office and spoke to the manager Mary and asked to speak to the attenting Doctor that my appointment was with she said "hes with a patient and will call me back later in the day." I also asked her about the mask policy and she "said that they don't offer any mask to the general public and that she had already talked to the LHI and they did not treat me rude." Then I ask "why is it the doctor Offered to give me a mask if I came back in after I was treated rudely by her, so who is lying her or the doctor? Then she hung up on me. As you see Mary should not be an office manager she may need to work back in the filing where she doesn't work with the general public , she's very rude along with the other receptionist that walked through the clinic with no mask on I believe this clinic needs to be a aware how they treat people. I have still have not received a call back from the treating Doctor.

My father has been a patient at Bayview in Danville, Illinois for several years. He was recently…read morein a short term nursing home for a very serious condition. When he was discharged from the nursing home he became ill and could not get out of the house. I called Bayview because he needed a refill on his life saving medication (insulin). After speaking to a very rude and unhelpful office assistant, she advised me that they would not refill his insulin until he could come in for an appointment. The problem with this, however, is that he was very sick. I thought the reason for having a primary care physician was to be granted certain privileges such as having a common 30 year medication, not some addictive opiate, refilled on the phone? At a minimum they could have said they will give my father his refill on his medication (that he has been taking for 30 years) but he must have an appointment to get any further refills. And by the way, this was not my first incident with Bayview. This incident just solidified my reason to take my father elsewhere. Please, if you care about yourself or your loved ones avoid this place like the plague!!!

While I haven't been a patient of Dr Hsu's for almost two years, now, and ohhhh how deeply I miss…read moreher!, I felt that I needed to come here and write a review for her for the following reasons: 1) She deserves it! And I'm shocked to see that I'm the first person to review her! Good gracious, Dr Hsu is like... she's like the kind of doctor you pray you'll find. Warm, compassionate, understanding. She listens like no other. She spends time with her patients, doesn't rush them, takes thorough notes, thorough histories, and sets comprehensive plans! If you're not seeing Dr. Hsu, the only question you need to ask yourself (besides, "Did I fall on my head?") is, "Why not??!" 2) Having moved to Texas, I am deeply pained by how difficult it is to find an excellent GP. These doctors have more mood swings than all the cast for the entirety of the TV show Dallas! And that's saying... A LOT! What I wouldn't give for a doctor like Dr Hsu. What I wouldn't give for half a doctor like Dr. Hsu! Whether it's the bottom or the top, she's still running circles around these fools. =P 3) I don't know if I expressed it clearly enough, how much I appreciated her as my primary, before we moved away. For months after we left, she continued to prescribe a certain medication for me, a med that was difficult to find the right doctors for. Even though I'm sure it put her in a bit of a spot, she did it without hesitation or complaint. She did it because she wanted me to be okay. Because, as her patient, I came first. It's more than just an oath with Dr Hsu... which isn't to say that that's not enough or important to her, but it's just...she's more giving than she probably should be. That's no weakness, trust me. It's just that she's such an amazing person, it's really hard to put it all into words. If I had two hands full of sparklers, a line of fan dancers, an acoustic amphitheatre filled with rockin' classical, and a blimp overhead with a sign that read, "Dr. Jennie Hsu-Lumetta is the bestest doctor EVER," I still don't think I could do her justice. Sending her all my love from Austin!

Well, I wish I could keep my excellent score for this doctor but since I've come down with Celiac…read moredisease and some other complex health issues, he has seemed to have given up on me. He even told me that some of my issues were probably "psychological." I don't care for doctors who give me the "it's all in your head" lecture. Yes, some of these physical problems have caused some depression. But when doctors just ride it off as all "psychological," how can you not feel like a hypercondriac? However, he is still a very good doctor for many things, just not Celiac Disease. Unfortunately I can't recommend anyone in this town for Celiac Disease...I suggest going to Dr.Cupher in Chicago instead.

Dr. Bartlett is my idea of the ideal primary care physician for someone willing to take…read moreresponsibility for one's own health. First, he listens. Second, he pays attention to the patient's goals and values. For example, I hate waste and despise pharmaceutical profiteering. He prescribes generics for me; we never do a test, no matter how amusing or interesting the result might be, unless that result could lead to some actual action. We agree to keep "doctoring" to a minimum. He stood by me as I tried diet and exercise to reduce arterial blockage and avoid arterial surgery: it worked. I am no longer a candidate for surgery: that avoided $20,000 in expense and a 3% risk of stroke from the surgical procedure itself. Bartlett keeps up on the literature; he knows results from the latest research. He is a true partner who listens, thinks, and then makes candid, useful suggestions. Andrew Bartlett is not your father's doctor, who played the role of the god who can fix whatever mess you got yourself into. Bartlett is a partner who helps you keep yourself out of trouble -- and out of the clutches of the self-appointed-gods-of-medicine (surgeons). Unless, of course, you absolutely need one.

Sad excuse of a healthcare network. The labs (3around town)…read moredon't know what samples they can and cannot take. Often ends in a rat race around town trying to find answers. Christie clinic outsources everything to carle often resulting to paying for a Christie Clinic appointment and then another Carle appointment. Also, lack of follow up from doctors. Christie Clinic has one goal and one goal only: client exploitation. Allow me to take you on a tour…read moreof their billing department. March 2026: I visited my doctor for a 20 minute appointment. Later that month, I received an incorrect bill, as expected from this company. In that bill, Christie Clinic ignored my insurance plan's allowed amount (savings should have been $125.84; see image of my EOB). Instead, Christie Clinic billed me a whopping $174.67 for a 20 minute appointment. I called Christie Clinic, and after a week, they sent me an "updated" bill of $174.67. Yes, you read that correctly. Nothing was changed. The best part? This is not Christie Clinic's first time ignoring my insurance plan's allowed amount. They also did this to me in Fall 2025. The difference this time is that they are refusing to correct it. I know I am not the first patient they have billed incorrectly, and I certainly will not be the last. At this point, this no longer feels like a mistake -- it feels like a business practice. Check your statements carefully, because Christie Clinic is hoping you won't. Or better yet, don't go here at all.
