We just saw an act by Carlos on the Discovery Princess, headed to Mexico. The set was so outdated, full of boomer jokes about women spending money, liking to shop, and emasculating men. There was just so much cringe. I think the worst part was when he talked about going to Lamaze class with his pregnant wife and when the instructor found out he didn't want to be there, decided to embarrass her as he put it "I went alpha on her". These are the same tired jokes men have been making about women. read more

We had the pleasure of seeing him on one of our Princess Cruises a couple of years ago and he was hilarious. Clean and really, really funny with real life situations everyone has been in. I met Carlos on a Princess Cruise where he performed in April of 2018. I thought he was funny and very entertaining. I saw Carlos on the ship and he was kind enough to take a picture with me and my wife. He wasn't all stuck up and was easy to talk to. Very nice guy. I hope to see your act again Carlos. read more

We have seen him twice on Princess cruises. He is funny and topical. He is a New York Puerto Rican married to a California Mexican. I am the same, married to a California Spaniard. His take on some cultural differences, which might not be apparent to non-Hispanics, are hilarious. He has expanded his act to include daily husband, wife and children banter. Most appear to be from his own experiences which are universal family experiences. He sits on a stool without props and captivates the audience. He won the Princess Cruise entertainer of the year by vote of passengers. No profanity or sex, just great family fun. read more

I have seen Carlos Oscar live on multiple occasions in multiple venues in multiple cities. He is consistently very funny and appeals to a wide audience; people from 8 to 80 are fully engaged in his shows. He is a true comic and one of the best out there. read more

I just came back from an Alaskan cruise aboard the Golden Princess. Carlos Oscar performed to a standing room only crowd for two nights. I was at the first show and liked it so much I went to the second one too. I wonder why with talent like his, he isn't a household name yet. Or is he, and I'm just living under a rock?
