Before I could even respond, the dog came blasting out through the door and tried to attack my dog. The owner then hit his dog and grabbed the dogs collar and started dragging the dog towards the door. When they got back to the front door, the guy asked again if I was taking a class. I told him no, I'm just responding to a text, in a public area and your dog almost attacked mine. He responded "shut up, b*tch". Violent and aggressive behavior across the board.

The theater is small, but intimate, and there is parking along the streets! I'd suggest lining up 20-30 before showtime for the best seats. They have a coffee shop by day (opens at 9am) and then they have the stage & sell drinks by night (starting about 6pm). I was happy they had some GOOD craft beers on the menu, as well. I wished the staff was a little more friendly but it was a busy night. The venue itself is great for smaller comedy shows with good sound & lighting quality. They also do mini concerts, drag, theater shows, storytelling - really anything you can think of that needs a stage with 85 seats. But otherwise, show was great. We saw total of three comedians - 2 opening acts and the main one. I was also given the option to be seated right up front where all the action was. Be sure to stay until the end to close out your bill. They automatically tack on a 20% service fee, so no need to worry about tip.

Pathos and bathos and drinking and smoking and sex and coming of age... created as we watched, with wild audience suggestions as prompts. (A boar's head heirloom, really??!). We learned the basics of improv and all its fun acronyms (yes and, CREW, etc.) and applied to to our scenes. Keith did an amazing job at making everyone feel welcomed and not scared to be vulnerable, and was an attentive teacher. I can tell he truly loves what he does because he genuinely laughs at every scene. Through this class, I also learned many life lessons: everyone is faking it till they make it, always ask more questions, embrace the silliness and absurdity of life, never stop playing, and just show up.
