When I reached out and asked him to come back to correct the issue, he refused to take responsibility and instead blamed everyone else. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable--I simply wanted the work evaluated and corrected if necessary. Unfortunately, customer service and accountability were lacking. Inquired on them also pricing of them removing ivy roots from the backyard but they said it would be too expensive and keep using the chemicals that I had been for everything to die. The day he came out to look at everything we spoke on the phone and he gave me a quote which I accepted. We had some days of rain coming so the work did not occur until a week after per my request. He came out and although did a good job of the areas he did do, he skipped a large portion of my backyard underneath the trees. I even questioned it when he sent me pictures as it appeared it wasn't done. He said it was. Sure enough it wasn't and I contacted him the following day asking him why. He told me that I said not to do the areas with the pine straw which is true but that area does not have pine straw. I repeated myself many times and added that if that area has pine straw it was from the trees that have fallen not unlike the leaves. He kept saying he was going to lose money and it would const him more money to go the dump. He then went back out to my house after that call and texted me that it would be an additional $150.00 for the "extra work" and he just wanted to make me happy. I texted him back that I am not happy and I am not planning to pay him more. I even sent him pictures of that area to show him that it never had pine straw as he was claiming but he kept saying that he will lose money. We had numerous texts back and forth and I kept telling him I will not pay extra. He then decided to text me accusing me of not wanting to pay him anything which was never said by me AND I just paid him online 45 minutes prior. I immediately called him within a minute of reaching that text and he chose not to pick up. I texted him that he was already paid and I was offended on his statement. Asked him not to contact me again or show to my property. I now paid him in full for him not doing the entire job. Nobody in their right mind would ask someone to only cleanup half their yard as the first winds would just blow everything around. It is not the customer's fault that you miss quoted your work. It is bad business to take it out on the customer.
