Also, the estimator (whom I believe was the owner's son) was very kind and available to answer all our questions, without any condescension or indifference. After the install, which took about 1-1/2 days, there were a few items I had mentioned that were overlooked, and when I contacted the owner, instead of being met with indignation (as I expected), I was met with compassion and understanding. The items were remedied within a few days. Everything looks great! No more leaking roof. -------------------------------------- On a side note, my neighbor (weeks later) said she saw many nails in her driveway, and when she said something to the workers, they were really rude. She said the next day there were food rappers and more nails in her yard/driveway, and said she ended up with a roof nail in her tire with a flat. I emphatically apologized to her but there wasn't much more I could do. I also later found 2 cigarettes (one smoked and the other whole) in my attic, and have found nails here and there for weeks now. For these last few reasons, I could not offer a 5-star rating, and almost put 3 stars, but 3 would not be indicative of the overall quality, which is more important to me from a roofer than attitude--though if everyone had an attitude similar to the owner's son, 5 stars would be an easy rank. Overall, the experience was good, but not great, though I would recommend them over others. I would only advise that every detail be written down, and that the owners have a little more oversight on their daily crews, just for quality (and attitude) control.

When someone did answer, they gave us a new excuse every time. Apparently our job wasn't worth the money, and instead of canceling on us or keeping their word they just ghosted us. Our roof could've been fixed much sooner with the company we actually went with in the end and it would've prevented further damage. Shame on these guys.

Fortunately, the drive from Riverview to Livonia wasn't a deal breaker because Gregory accepts jobs in the Livonia area. Like our previous roof replacement, the Gregory's crew was on time, professional, and did quality work. We had an electrician coming out two days later to install bathroom exhaust fans and the Gregory's crew was nice enough to cut the exhaust holes in the roof and install the exhaust roof vents at no additional cost! The crew did a great job cleaning up after their work was completed and made sure that everything looked good before they left.
