He helpfully guided us through the process of pre-approval, gathered all the necessary financial paperwork and even called my employer to facilitate the process when he had an issue with my highly confusing pay stubs. He even referred a real estate agent which sadly did not work out but to no fault of his. Anyway, when it came time for the actual loan application, he did all of the leg work leaving only the hours of document reviews and e-signing of documents. He also made sure that everything went smoothly after we had our contract drawn and was working our way to the closing date. Needless to say, things went as planned and we closed on the day we had set on our contract with the least amount of issue as possible. My boyfriend and I recently purchased a house together. In the beginning, we had no idea where to start. I looked up some Zillow reviews of mortgage brokers and picked Alex because he had fantastic reviews and his website seemed organized. On a Friday night, I sent him an email inquiring about a pre-approval. TEN MINUTES LATER, he responded. Not a robot "Thanks for your email; we will call you tomorrow" email...an actual response. Since then, everything went very smoothly. My boyfriend and I are both very busy with work, so meeting in person was not always an option. We literally sat down with Alex one time before our closing, and that was to go over our loan once we were under contract on a house and sign papers. We had some minor hiccups along the way (as with all house purchases). When a clerical error on the real estate agent's part moved up the loan commitment date by almost two weeks, he rolled with the punches and almost pulled it off (luckily, until our real estate agent revised the deadline--whew).
