They delivered to wrong address first, then promised delivery and after insulting us by saying they were busy but promising the flowers THEY NEVER DELIVERED THE ORDER! NEVER APOLOGIZED! 5 out of 5 stars isn't enough! To be honest I would literally give Kimberly, her husband and staff at the shop 10 stars out of 5. They were literally amazing from the beginning till the end. So much so I wouldn't of minded if they pulled up a chair and had dinner at my wedding. The flowers for the wedding and the reception were perfect and even better than we had imagined. Everything from the boutonnieres, corsages, centerpieces, aisle flowers and the altar flowers were amazing. WE LOVED EVERYTHING. Kimberly showed up early on the wedding day, had extra flowers ready to help the baker decorate the cake, had everything ready way ahead of time and came back at the end of the night to help out. If I lived in Florida I would give her ALL my business. I don't care if it was a single rose or a huge party. Our experience felt way more like a friendship than a business relationship. read more

A week ago, I ordered the Winged Beauty Bouquet, after speaking with the owner by telephone. I explained my difficulty in finding a solid florist who can look at the same picture I am looking at online (as a reference to what they are creating) and actually being able to deliver that. She assured me I was in good hands. BTW, I ordered the 'premium' version of the arrangement. I offered to pay more if needed to ensure my arrangement would look like the picture. I asked if she could add some seeded eucalyptus and I would pay for that. She said she would throw it in for free. I will pay for what I want. I am realistic. I will pay for bells and whistles and everything in between when it comes to my Mother. I was charged an extra fee for 'early delivery' ... they were delivered at 230 in the afternoon. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Make your own decision. (The owner never called me back, they just refunded my money). UPDATE: I received an email from the owner saying it appears that the arrangement fell over and became disheveled during delivery. Then the email continued to say I made threats and was abusive over the phone. Neither were true. So now I know they have delivery drivers who will deliver something after it has been destroyed during delivery and they have staff who embellish conversations they had with upset customers to their boss. The email closed with saying that I have been banned from their store and a note was added in their system to never allow me further business. I am just speechless. read more

My wife called to discuss the horrible flowers sent to my mother and all the owner did was keep yelling , yes yelling at her that she was out of flowers and we had to got thru Teleflora for the issue and hung up. I work in the floral industry in Los Angelesand we had a very demanding client that called and wanted flowers delivered within the next half an hour in Clearwater (this was after 6:30 EST). I called Cheryl and she was more than willing to accommodate: she stayed late, came up with some great ideas from the little bit that was left in to cooler at the end of the day, and was going to take them herself to ensure the delivery. She was wonderfully creative and kind even when I had to call her back and tell her our clients had just canceled the order (uck, I felt terrible). She handled even that call with aplomb. Not ever having seen the work, this review can really only be based on creativity and customer service, but that's at least 3/4 of why we go to a florist in the first place. read more

Outstanding service! Called the day before Mother's Day (must be the busiest day of the year) and Cheryl was friendly, unhurried and very helpful. Possible to deliver tomorrow (Sunday, Mother's Day? No problem!). She helped me select a large orchid which my mother absolutely loved. In fact, she loved it so much she called the florist today and asked about care instructions. Again, Cheryl spent a good deal of time explaining how best to care for it including a referral to a website on the care for the specific breed of orchid she had received. At 3:30pm on a Friday I suddenly realized that I had forgotten to send flowers for my sister's birthday. So I called Carlson Wildwood on the basis of their great Yelp reviews. The call was answered rather abruptly by a woman and I asked her it was still possible for a delivery (1.7 miles away). Her response...in a really rude voice, was "where?", I told her, and then: "well that will be a $20 delivery charge for a rush order!" I had no problem with a delivery charge at all but I simply said (while getting out my credit card) "Okay I guess the problem is that it is too far away?" It was just chit chat--everyone charges for delivery, and I needed the flowers. The whole time I was very polite to her, and I figured it would be tough that late in the day. She said "No! The delivery person has gone home and he'll have to come back in!" She was incredibly condescending and irritated--like I was completely clueless. I just wanted to get a nice tropical arrangement and was hoping to spend about $100. I nicely told her that I was sorry to have irritated her and hung up. I called another place a bit further away, talked to a nice lady who took the order, told me they could take care of it, and thanked me for the $117 (that included the delivery charge). I was just amazed... I'll never ever call Carlson Wildwood again--I don't understand how folks are able to stay in business when they treat people this way. They must have great flowers! read more
