I highly recommend you do not conduct business with this gentleman. As other reviewers have previously written, he is a one man "company" who runs the business out of his Doylestown home, has no real employees, hires lowest bid subcontractors to renovate your pool, has changed his company name numerous times, and according to several other pool renovation companies I have reached out to fix this mess maintains an extremely poor reputation in the industry. We paid him an initial deposit in June 2021. Months passed with nothing happening. Out of the blue, he then proceeded to demolish our family's pool last fall with two young men showing up unannounced at our home without the required township permits. The work was rushed, sloppy, and shoddy. Our automatic pool cover track was removed and bent in the process. The mortar was not properly and completely removed so more demolition and prep work will still need to be done to prepare the pool for its next phase of renovation. Gallons of saltwater were dumped onto our grass, plants, and trees. Our pool was left filled with debris. In addition, the sloppy demolition may have damaged the plumbing which will now need to be pressure tested. Bob Whitaker had no supplies when he demolished our pool. He failed to reserve and secure our necessary materials. He gave my husband the run-around via text messages for nine months. And has left our family with our four year old son pool-less for the upcoming summer season. He refuses to answer calls or return my husband's deposit. Even though, his incomplete and sloppy demolition has provided no savings or value now that we need to hire another contractor to renovate our pool. I hope my warning can prevent someone else from making the same mistake our family made retaining Aqua Renovations' services saving unnecessary stress, unpleasantness, inconvenience, frustration, and the wasting of hard earned money.

The day they are scheduled they don't show up. I call, they are behind and will be in the next day. The next day, no show, no call and no answer from my calls Fast forward they show up two days late and close the pool. This bill is higher again. They charge me for plugs that they pulled out while opening in the spring. Talked to the owner and he told me he'd split the charge for the plugs. Why would I even pay half? Already paid for them once. He told me "do what I think is right". Hope this review fits the bill. It's hard to find good work/ quality these days and if you read this far you will know that you have not found that here.

They have given me honest advice on how to attempt inexpensive repairs, even at the sake of losing a sale for an expensive part. They repair motors and are quick in their repairs. For patio furniture, they rent a sling stretcher for free in case you ever need to reinstall slings on your chairs. Just go to desk and ask to use it. One downside is their cost for on site pool repairs. I was informed that their rate was $150/hr plus parts. Another local make pool service company's rate is $95/hr. I cannot support the idea of paying that much more an hour for essentially the same service.

Now,…read morethey insist that they provide the chemicals at ridiculously inflated prices because some customers had been using "inferior chemicals." Sorry, but you can't fool a chemist. Liquid 20% NaClO is the same no matter what brand is on the label; the rest is just water. Perhaps some customers were using less concentrated ordinary laundry bleach instead, but that's no excuse to punish all customers by forcing them to purchase chemicals from them. They just lost this customer.

The finish is uneven, with significant bumps and "waves" across the entire surface. We brought these issues to their attention immediately upon completion. The company explained that this poor finish was caused by the previous plaster layer not being fully removed down to the gunite ( which again one of the layers was because they put the wrong plaster in), a critical detail that was never communicated to us during the planning or execution of the project. As industry professionals, the team should have advised us on the proper preparation needed to achieve a quality finish, and the lack of such communication is a severe oversight. They think feeling waves when sitting is okay. It is so ridiculous that they stand behind that work! I would have easily paid more money if they brought up to me that they need more time to prepare the surface correctly. Furthermore, we were disappointed by the company's proposed resolution: requiring us to pay an additional fee to have the entire job redone again. This is an unacceptable response, as the initial payment was for professional, high-quality work, which was not delivered. We believe the responsibility for this inadequate outcome lies with your company. DO NOT USE!!

Daisy came out to the house and estimated the renovation project which included demo of the old tile and coping, restoring the entire pool deck, replacing the custom stone coping, replacing and replicating the tile to match the spa - which was not to be touched or a part of the project - and finally; re-plastering of our pool with 'Diamond Brite' Super Blue finish. Daisy was very professional, knowledgeable, and guided us through every step of the way. They squeezed us in their very busy schedule to accommodate our needs and helped us as much as they could during these pressing times. From draining our pool and demo work, through the masterful deck rebuild, the coping and tile work, and finally the plastering finish, everyone on every crew was on time, extremely polite, professional, and left the job site clean. Weather related delays caused the project to take a little longer than expected, but with every turn, with every step, and with any concerns and questions we had about the renovation project, Sergio, Daisy and the entire office team were always available to answer our questions and help us with everything we needed to make sure all our needs were met and that the end result was nothing but spectacular. The price was very competitive, and they even threw in the spa to make sure everything was cohesive. We were very surprised and astounded at the generous gift and were furthermore shocked when they gave us new pool light bulbs, pool light gaskets, and repaired a pool light cove leak.... free of charge!!! You don't get that kind of service these days! I have no words to describe how thankful and grateful we are... My entire family is enjoying a beautiful newly renovated pool and our summer was saved thanks to Sergio. Mike estimated almost to the exact dollar what the landscaping and concrete would cost us so we were able to plan for that and not go over budget.
