They do her laundry for her and bring it back, but everything has to have your name on it. They offer bingo a couple times a week, as well as a painting session once a month. We are able to go visit her anytime and are also able to check her out to have dinner or whatever it may be. The staff is friendly and helpful though they definitely have a lot to deal with and keep up with. They are sweet to the patients and the visitors and so far we have been as happy as we can be knowing she is here. There is an outdoor area to sit with your loved ones which is nice to get a breath of fresh air. The driveway is somewhat hidden so you may miss it on the busy New Hartford road.

Then on our second visit 1 week later to ensure he was growing properly before we could be seen by a much much much better Pediatrician's office, Owensboro Pediatrics office had the audacity to publicly shame us for needing to choose delayed scheduling of vaccinations due to my extreme allergies and past adverse reactions to vaccinations to ensure our newborn doesn't pass away to an allergic reaction. This office staff desperately needs education on sexual harassment of a minor, manners, and respecting HIPAA. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM!!!!

So I googled "Urgent Care Spencer County" and one of the first listings was Dr. Sherman's office. I called and the receptionist said that it was a family practice clinic and not an urgent care center and that I should come on in anyway and they'd get me situated. AND BOY DID THEY. The office itself is fine - nice and modern, but the Dr. and his staff are really friendly and helpful! They were a little amused that I was thinking about just turning around and coming back to Chicago for treatment. For such a last-minute visit, they really did it right, too: partial physical, background and history, and the works. It was just a great experience - especially so since it was just right down the road from me. As it turns out, I was so impressed with how friendly and competent the staff were here that I am planning on scheduling my regular doctor's visits 350 miles away from home (I live full-time in Chicago and visit Spencer county regularly) so that this office takes care of my physicals and the sturm und drang that pop up as I career into middle age. Give them a chance if you are near Rockport, IN! Such a great clinic with a super friendly staff and an interesting Doctor!

Overall it's not a terrible place and i realize that because the government runs things differently then a company they have a different mindset.
