Upon peeling the batter off, we found the fish to be grey and had a funky taste. The tartar sauce was also super runny and tasted sour like pickled juice. The burger came sitting in a pool of grease as well but my boyfriend was able to eat it. I try to not write negative reviews because every business has an off day, but $60 for food that we couldn't eat, and also being given wrong items feels very bitter.

Love Carmelita's! They have many vegan options on the menu. My husband and I are stuck in a rut though, and always order the same thing--- the vegan Greek Feast with falafel. Everything on the plate is fantastic. Roasted red bell peppers, hummus, dolmas, artichoke hearts, and if course the falafel patties. Even the dressing and pitas are great. Sometime I'll try something else, but you know what they say---if it ain't broke...... I'm really happy they opened up another restaurant in our neighborhood.
