I went and got my industrial and conch pierced by Ruth. They came out cute, but out of all my (now 18) piercings, these two were the absolute slowest piercings I have ever gotten done. She also pierced my industrial through a pre-existing cartilage piercing that didn't have jewlery in it, so now I lost that piercing. If you're looking for a cheap piercer I would go here, they do a 2/50 deal. But just be aware that she is extremely slow. I won't be returning just for that reason read more

Annoyed. I went here for a cartilage piercing. I get to the place and literally wait an hour (decided not to leave because i had already paid). Then finally it's my turn and I tell the piercer, like I clarify, I want a stud & where I want the piercing. Then she pierces it, and I see my ear... And Im like why is the jewelry green, what is that? And she responds with "well we're out of our basic clear gems so we just rotate between our other 4 standard ones.. " So my thought process is.. okay, so when someone says they want just the standard stud, why wouldn't you show them the options before putting something GREEN in their ear? and so then I ask if she can change it, and she says "not right now, you need to wait the full healing time then you can come back and purchase new jewelry." ???? Placing wise it's fine, but Im debating just taking it out at this point. I don't think it looks AWFUL, but Im just annoyed at the fact that I wasn't made aware that I was being pierced with an unconventional color that I can't change for months and matches none of my clothes. read more

Very great customer service as soon as you walk threw the door you are greeted. Great atmosphere & the piercer (Ruth) is amazing!! She also has great customer service she DID NOT treat me like just another customer. She actually cared & conversated. The prices are great, a lot more affordable than most shops around (she was running a deal 2 piercings for $50)! Very clean atmosphere, including the waiting room. Horrible!!!! Paid $300 for a hand tattoo that healed looking like crap!! The ink did not stick well and the tattoo was unrecognizable. When I asked about their policy on touch ups they told em a hand tattoo was excluded from their policy of one free touch up within the first year, which I would understand after a few months because of the friction on the hands would naturally cause the tattoo to fade but when the tattoo heals like this and you can hardly tell what it is that's unacceptable.!!! read more

All I have to say is Carmelo is a true talent. When I called for the consult, I gave my ideas for the cover-up. I've never been to an artist that I really don't know what the end result will be. I went in for my appointment, the shop is absolutely spotless. The waiting area was super comfortable with a TV & lots of magazines. Had a great time chatting with other customers. Carmelo's office was very well organized & had some amazing artwork hanging. He showed me the stencil & I nearly cried it was gorgeous! This was in Memorial to my father who passed in 2011. This was done a week before the 5 year anniversary. Didn't plan on it & didn't notice until got to talking about what this meant to me. Got started & I have a very high threshold for pain. But I didn't even feel him work at all. I have another piece I'd like him to fix & another cover up I'd like to turn into a half sleeve. Plus more I'd like to add. I got my septum pierced tonight and it was a great experience! The staff was very friendly and gave me really valuable information and insight about some piercings I wanted to get in the future. I was very relieved she used numbing gel because I've heard that not all parlors do, and considering the placement it can be really painful. I would absolutely come back to get other piercings done, and I'm definitely going to be recommending this place to friends. read more

Absolutely unacceptable. Waited an hour and a half to get a piercing with about 15 other people who had been sitting just as long as I was and nobody was getting services done...at all. I have no idea what the employees were doing. Don't do refunds so I had to sit and wait. Not coming back. read more

So me and my sister are going there for our first tattoo on a Monday which is the day Jen doesn't work. She was so understanding that this is the big 18 that she said she'll come in for us. Which we are very grateful for. Knowing that this is our first tattoo she let us change the place of our tattoo many times without having a problem. She also reassured us on what the pain would be. This is not the place you want to go for your next tattoo. The shop is not kept clean, and sanitation practices here leave A LOT to be desired. Throw in a general lack of artistic ability and lots of drama, and youve got yourself the disaster that is this 'shop'. read more

I went in to get my nipples done and what I got in return was anything but great. I was nervous and it didn't help that i waited for an hour. Finally, I sat in the chair and everything was already set up. I wish I had asked about how clean everything was, but I was too nervous that it didn't cross my mind. She marked where the needle would go through but she never asked me to look at them and make sure I liked them. She stuck the needle through and it hurt like hell, but not as bad as the aftermath. She hadn't measured my nipples, so I ended up with a bar that was too short and the ball at the end ended up embedded in my nipple. Thankfully, I went somewhere else and got a longer bar and it feels SO much better. I do NOT recommend. I should have known when I went in a few months before for a piercing and they didn't have the jewelry I asked them about over the phone a few hours before hand. PLUS, the credit card machine was down so I had to pay cash. I feel so stupid for the amount of research I do on a piercing, I should have put more effort into the place doing the piercing. NEVER going there again. read more

Piercer is awful! Went for a simple nose piercing, spoke to piercer about the jewelry he was using and he didn't even care to see if the jewelry would fit me properly saying "if you want this piercing this is what you get." Went to mark it then adjusted it when he asked if I "would ever wear a nose ring." I've had multiple facial piercings (including this particular one) before so it wasn't a new experience, but I was appalled at what happened next. He seemed to be in a rush to get it over with so he could go back to hanging out on the computer in the front so he took no time in stabbing my nose. I've never experienced this much pain or blood with a simple nostril piercing. THEN HE USED THE SWAB HE SANITIZED THE AREA WITH TO WIPE BLOOD FROM THE PIERCING. I can't tell you how fast I ran out the door. About a week after I noticed a bump right next to the piercing. I kept cleaning it as normal hoping it would just go away. Weeks later it was still there so I tried switching out the jewelry. The original one was so snug and difficult to take out it really hurt, when I went to put the new jewelry in I noticed the entire piercing was crooked and the new jewelry punctured the bump which is now gushing blood. I'll never go back here. If you're a teenager looking to throw away your allowance and don't care about mutilating your body I suggest coming here, if you're not and you're looking for good quality, long lasting piercings go elsewhere. I made the mistake of taking a coworkers advice and now I'm just praying this heals properly and doesn't leave any scarring. read more
