So excited to finally come in and try it! Opened a bit later today due to the holidays but they are a mix of Honduran and Mexican! Menu is amazingly crafted and you sit yourself and a waiter will be over to take care of you! Everything is made from scratch so it takes a bit longer! Y'all are sleeping on this! Why didn't anyone tell me how awesome Honduran food was? My husband and I shared the carne asada con tajadas and we were pretty sure we could have fed a third person off our plate. It was stellar too- fried plantains with spicy cabbage, topped with really flavorful steak. They served it with two different kinds of salsa- a really spicy jalapeño based sauce and a milder cream sauce. Both were excellent, although just a little of the jalapeño salsa went a long way. The chips they served in lieu of chips and salsa will be invading my dreams- who knew that queso fresco on a chip covered in salsa could hit the spot that way? Highly highly recommend and will absolutely be back to try more dishes from Honduras. read more

Came to this spot based on other Yelp reviews. It is located in s strip plaza near s huge Dollar Tree . That said what a delightful size and atmosphere for some home Mexican or Honduran food. I chose the tacos Hondureños and my sister had a steak platter fit for a king. We were served a chips and salsa I loved! The service was good and it helps if you know some Spanish but I am sure they can help you if needed. The prives are decent and it was worth the 12 minute drive from Midtown. Muy rico! read more

This place is a good find! I have never tried Honduran food before, I'm glad I did. The food is similar to Mexican but has some different options. The place itself is relatively large, it has a jungle kinda vibe and has plenty of seating. Walk in and seat yourself, a waitress will bring you menus & free chips and salsa that has cheese on top- really good. I can't say I'm an expert in Honduran food by any means but I think that most likely this place is better than most. We tried the tacos, the tostadas & the pupusas. Everything we tried was really good, I like the tacos the best & my wife loved the pupusas. Ultimately, I would come back to this place. The food takes awhile to come out (maybe 15-20 minutes) but it definitely worth going and trying. Check it out! Happy eating. read more

We ordered custom breakfast burritos - bean, bacon, cheese and a egg, bacon, potato, and cheese - and they were both so tasty and better than what you'll get than settling for Taco Star or Renegade's which are ok but pricey and just not worth it. Best Mexican I've ever had. Fajitas were huge and delicious. Homemade tortillas and sauce. Service was also incredible.

Please do not order the pupusas there. They really don't know how to make them - they were just sickening and greasy. A real dissappointment. We stumbled into this restaurant mostly because it is highly rated on Yelp. It is a casual place, but does have table service. You can get traditional Mexican dishes but the purveyors take pride in their Honduran dishes. I was not familiar but was super happy with my papusas- so yummy! And boiled green bananas must be a specialty, as many of the Honduran meals come with the side. They do not taste like bananas, but more like a potato side dish. Not like Plantains either, although plantains are on the menu. I ordered the machetiada and OMG!! It is a homemade flour tortilla, but more like a sopapillla, all puffy and fried, served with maple syrup. SUCH A MARVELOUS TREAT!! read more

We decided to try this new restaurant today. It's Honduras and Mexican food. We were in a hurry so got our food to-go. They have a pretty extensive menu, so we'll be back to try some of the Honduras dishes. We ordered a smothered chicken burrito, a bean tostado, a guacamole tostado, and a slice of flan. I only waited 20 minutes, but everything was very good! Flavorful, filling and very fresh. They do not have a liquor license yet and they do not have a public restroom, but this is a decent size restaurant. Clean inside and out. Good service.
