We had a disappointing lunch here. The view was fabulous and the restaurant nicely arranged. The service was very slow - only two waiters (we were told that one of the regulars was unavailable that day) but then there were not so many tables. The menu looked interesting, with a heavy focus on fiash and tuna in particular, but in the end I felt the dishes were a bit pretentious with more focus on display than taste -- and the servings were SMALL. Tom Yum Goong was presented with the dried noodles heaped on top of the flavorings, they melted down as the soup was poured over. But the not Tom Yum we get in good Thai restaurants in the US, and not at all spicy (which was good for the child who ordered it, but Tom Yum Goong SHOULD be spicy). Sam and I both had beef dishes, he the carrilleras and me the slow-cooked picanha. Flavor was OK. My spouse had sturgeon but found it unimpressive and, again, small portions. The one great dish was Nafisa's -- Spicy Tuna on Wakame and Daikon seaweed I definitely do not recommend this place -- except for the view

    Amazing wine that we bought

Overall, my wife and I enjoyed the experience. We really enjoyed it because of the atmosphere. You get an amazing view of Alhambra and the outdoor patio is relaxing, We strongly recommend to go at sunset. Amazing for date night. Service was good and they were warm. They were just understaffed. So a little wait for service but it's worth the wait to take in the sights. The food was ok for the price point. Flavor was mediocre but nothing was bad. The wine was amazing. It was so good that we bought a bottle. Because of the views, atmosphere and welcoming service, I strongly recommend for a date night if you are staying in Granada.

It is our first night in Granada and all the places overlooking the Alhambra were reserved out already. We stumbled my this place and they were able to seat us (party of 7). The view is spectacular and the food accompanied that. Of course you are paying for the view more than the food. They started off with bread and watermelon ceviche. The ceviche was a nice refreshing touch. I got the duck breast in mint sauce which was cooked perfectly. I did wish they had better steak knife. My wife got the beef skewer with a prawn. That too was very delicate and tasty. My son got the grilled baby lamb chops which he could have eaten more if those lamb chops were much bigger. For dessert, my wife got the flan and son got the brownie. Both came with a scoop of ice cream and I could smell the richness of the brownie where I sat. All in all, great place with a fitting great view.

    Cod wth prawn. Very tasty.

Great views, good food, good service. We dropped by without reservation around 9.30pm and were seated promptly at a table with wonderful views of Alhambra. We ordered the Andalusian garlic soup (okay, nothing memorable), oxtail stew (delicious), cod with peppers (generous portion, very tasty), chocolate brownie with ice cream (okay) and apple pastry (not bad). The food was good but not amazing enough for us to make another trip back. Ps. Ladies, bring a shawl or light jacket as it gets quite chilly as the temperature dips.

Great easy online booking system which made arranging dinner easy. Terrific view and good food. Staff spoke great English and menu available in English too. Had a nice sangria and my partner and I decided to share plates starting with broad beans and ham which was fantastic, a yummy gespatcho (cold tomato soup) and finally oxtail stew. All washed down with a bottle of local red wine. We commented that the food was really good for a place with such a fab view. Certainly a great combination for a fab night out. Best time your meal for around sunset if you want to maximize the view, but still worth it if you have to book early or later!

Dinner was awesome, service was good and the view spectacular. We started with cheese sample, olives and bread. The blue cheese was delicious as well as the goat cheese and other local selections. My partner and I had the beef skewer with a prawn in a Rosemary Date sauce. Our buddy had grilled lamb chops. We sampled each others plates. The beef was tender and prepared medium rare. The prawn was a bit over cook, but seemed to be more of a garnish. Lamb chops were slightly charred and quite tasty. We also had the Ajo (garlic) soup served hot with pine nuts. The prices were a bit more than local restaurants, but the overall experience was worth it.

Colombian Spanish fusion food in Granada…read more What's not to like? * * * Much of the food was simple well executed stuff. A nice salmon on the plancha. A nice salad. Pineapple juice comes out of the bottle. But the bottle is a Spanish bottle, The pineapples are Spanish pineapples, And the Juice is served with ice cubes. On a 110 degree day, Good pineapple juice on the rocks was just what I needed. I drank a lot of the stuff. * * * The dish of distinction was the shrimp coquetel. Mexicans do lots of coquetels. I eat a ton of these back in Texas where I live. This Colombian-Spanish coquetel put my hometown coquetels to shame. It doesn't hurt that Spanish seafood is just better stuff than commercial Gulf of Mexico seafood. Good shrimp are good shrimp. But what made the dish magical is that the coquetel sauce was much more acidic than are comparable versions in the United States. You did not hear me say "lemony" or "citrusy". If you had said "mild vinegar" I might have believed you. The tart bite made the dish incredibly refreshing. Normally on a seafood cocktail, I am there for the shrimp and the sauce is garnish. Here, as good as the shrimp were - and they were good, the shrimp were the back-up band for the sauce. The sauce put life back into my body and hope back into my heart. It may have been 110 degrees outside - But I was ready for five sets of tennis ... Or maybe walking up to the Alhambra on my thumbs while juggling watermelons with my feet. I don't think they put Red Bull in coquetel sauces anywhere. But this was food that was truly reviving. * * * Minor note: Dessert was popsicles. Popsicles in Spain are strictly commercial - although artisanal ones do exist. They are thin rectangles of actual fruit on the stick with juice and flavors in the ice on the outside. We had one green mango popsicle and one tutti-frutti popsicle. I would have never thought I would be happy eating a commercial popsicle Rather than getting a chef-made kitchen-made dessert. But some popsicles are really good.

Located in the pleasant quarterone of Realejo, and close to the Moorish area Albayzin, this place offers a great variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Tapas and whole plates, it's very diverse. We had the mix of grilled vegetables and ravioli stuffed with spinach and ricotta, dressed with pesto-sauce. Lovely! Try the Rioja house-wine, it'll blow you away! Crowd (saturday) is a mix of yound and older locals as well as the same mix of tourists who don't mind a walk away from the Cathedral and the touristic restaurants nearby. The service is kind and relaxed, the furnish a mix of old secondhand stuff. But all in style. Would recommend Papaupu for sure!
