It is without an iota of hyperbole that I write the following statement; Dr. Michelle Gabbai is,…read morewithout a doubt, the most intelligent, compassionate, and skilled physician I have ever been fortunate enough to meet. Thankfully, she also happens to be my and my wife's general practitioner. From the moment my wife and I met Dr. Gabbai, a little over one year ago, she has greatly improved our quality of life, both physiologically and emotionally. In fact, my wife was in the midst of a serious and frightening medical emergency when we first met Dr. Gabbai (from which she has since fully recovered, thankfully), and to say that Dr. Gabbai immediately jumped to her rescue and put her on a path to full recovery would be an understatement. She told us exactly where to go, and exactly what to do, and, frankly, saved us both. Dr. Gabbai is a shining example of the ideal practitioner of the Hippocratic Oath. She has a breadth of knowledge that would shame physicians with twice her experience, a depth of compassion that would make the Mariana Trench look like a pothole, and a demeanor that immediately puts one at ease. Dr. Gabbai asks all the proper questions, listens intently to the answers, and offers the best medical advice available. She is the exact opposite of a pill dispenser, as she would much rather see a patient of hers solve a medical issue through diet and exercise rather than allow the pharmaceuticals do all the work. Sure, if one needs medication, she will happily facilitate, but Dr. Gabbai believes strongly in her patients' capacity to self-improve, and will do all she can to assist. She keeps herself abreast of the latest medical advancements and discoveries, and is constantly filling her formidable intellect with new information. In fact, my wife and I often find ourselves elongating our appointments just to spend more time with Dr. Gabbai. We've not gone so far as to malinger, but you get the idea. Most people tend to dread going to see the doctor. As far as my wife and I are concerned, though, since we are fortunate enough to be patients of the inestimable Dr. Gabbai, we can't get to her office quickly enough. In summation, as if it were not already obvious, I wholeheartedly recommend to any person who seeks superlative medical care to make a beeline for Dr. Gabbai and try to become one of her patients. She is unique, unforgettable, and unable to give anything less than 100% of her attention, care, and expertise to each and every one of her patients. Were I the President of the United States (and let's face it, folks, we need a new one), I would appoint Dr. Gabbai as the Surgeon General, head of the CDC, NIH, and any and every other agency with an acronym for a title. Yes, she is that great. My only hope is that Dr. Gabbai lives a long, healthy life and remains in practice for decades to come, so that she may incalculably improve the quality of life for as many patients as possible, as she has certainly done for my wife and myself. Dr. Gabbai is a treasure, and should be treated as such by anyone who values their health and wellbeing. Do yourself, and those about whom you care, a big favor; find Dr. Gabbai, try to become her patient, treat her with the utmost respect that she deserves, follow her advice, and consider yourself fortunate to have read this radioactive review and acted on its suggestion. You will not be sorry.

And so whether you're only experiencing some symptoms that's related to any kidney illness, or you feel like you'll eventually end up having dialysis three times a week, or will be needing to find a perfect donor match...get yourself checked before it's too late. I had a brother who was only 27 when he was diagnosed with renal failure, end stage. It hurt our family how he had to go through the pain and suffering, not to mention the inevitable need for a huge amount of money to keep him alive. It has caused ceaseless family conflicts as well. He had a kidney transplant from a cadaver donor, but it only lasted for less than 10 months. He was in dialysis 2x to 4x weekly for 10 years. Tons of daily medications, frequent blood transfusions, and regular trips to the ER. We were practically trying to save his life every single day. I wish we had known Dr. Dabel before my brother passed away. But I'm still grateful he was able to give me confidence that I wouldn't have to go through what my brother did.

I'm not mad that he has his "learned" opinion, but as an American, my only real recourse, or power, lies in my wallet. So, I'm no longer a patient of his & will not be allotting any more of my insurance, or out of pocket pay, to help him, or this practice. Disappointed the hell out of me, doctor. Had me straight fooled. Maybe you're the Actor, huh? Thanks for nothing.
