AS one patient describe Dr Parvinchi , once when i first went to the office in Santa Clarita, every time i make an appt i specifically ask to be seen by Dr Not Nurse partitioners!!!!!!! and guess what as usually Nurse Partitioner comes instead the DR i requested, he never bother to come out and see his patient, when i do my yearly lab test the results comes he never bother to call you and discuss any issue i have to call and set up an appt to have him review the finding , and as always he sends nurse partitioner comes to talk to you , i don't recommend him to any one at all. read more

I saw Dr Parvinchi once only on my first visit and could never see him again. He only uses Nurse Practitioners for his work and seems to be more interested in making money for his weight loss side hussle. I complained to his NP about one leg bigger than the other, pain in the ribs and shortness of breath. I had blood drawn and was told to see an endocrinologist and they couldn't help me because my thyroid was off. A few months later, I ended up in the hospital with a saddle pulmonary embolism and and emergency thrombectomy. This could have been avoided with proper care and diagnosis from my PCP. read more

Exceptional care and professionalism. Every time I come into clinic the staff is always welcoming and efficient. The ladies in the front (Eldemira, Elizabeth, & Mayra) are so sweet and helpful. If I could give 5000 stars, I would!!! I've been seeing Dr. Parvinchi for 2 month's. He is now not only my Internist, but my husband's as well. As other reviewers have stated he goes out of his way to make sure all your questions are answered. He works with you to address your health concerns, rather than just telling you what to do. He wants to make sure you and him are on the same page and comfortable. Dr. Parvinchi goes out of his way to care for his patients. I have been suffering with migraines, hormonal issues, and weight gain. Dr. Parvinchi truly cares about his patients feeling well and experiencing optical health. He has even personally texted me to see how I'm feeling, as well as sending me articles to read and videos to watch. I know that I have a physician who cares about me living a healthy life. I was so touched to receive his text message, and they continued weekly! The office staff is by far the friendliest and most professional team I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The worst experience I could have. Dr. Amir Parvinchi is in another office in Canyon Country which I got an appointment a month ago, and emphasized I need an appointment for my mom with him NOT other doctors as he is the only Persian speaker in the clinic. I got there and was visited by an English speaker practitioner which I said I need a Dr. for my mom that can speak Persian as my mom needs to go to him and she can not speak English well. They apologize for the inconvenience and said next 2 weeks Dr. Parvinchi will visit her. I got so many msg for reminding the appointment and was present there at the time of the appointment, but unbelievably I was told Dr. left and he was aware of my situation and my need of his visit, and he didn't care. They apologized and they said he can see my Monday at Sylmar place. They didn't even bother to call me sooner to let me know not to drive to the clinic. There should be a trust Mr Parvinchi between Dr and patience, which is built during the time, unfortunately u ruin it without even try to make it. I'm so sorry for such doctors that their time is more important than others. read more

Just recently starting taking my mother and mother-in-law to Dr. Parvinchis clinic in Sylmar since July of last year, and ive had such a good experience, that i changed myself. Everytime i come into the clinic the front desk staff (Liz and Eli), are always welcoming and i find myself lost in conversation with them about how im doing and the latest gossip between ladies. As for the medical staff, super helpful; if not Dr Parvinchi who i deal with for my family members, it is one of the nurse practitioners, that have always spend the time to make sure i understanding everything we talked about, including what medicaiton i need to give to my mother in a timely manner. Each visit, since ive been going since August of last year, has been a positive experience. There are occasions that the clinic gets busy, but compared to my old clinic, at least i am able to be seen the same day and or worst case, i have to wait 20 min or so, which is nothing. My family is happy, especially my mother who has a lot of medical issues, so frequent visit with her has not been such a hassle. I am also glad that not only has the staff been helpful, but the office manager Mayra, reached out and called us last week when i had to take my mother-in-law to the ER. She was so thoughtful to ask how she was doing and myself. I think little gestures like these is what makes me feel i made the right choice in services. Overall, the staff, the doctor and the nurse practitioners that work at this clinic, really make this place feel like home. read more

I've only been seeing the Nurse Practitioner up until today. I was insistent upon seeing the doctor today because I have had a chronic issue for some time now and expected the Doctor to be more well versed in my condition considering his credentials. I was previously recommended to take an over the counter medication however over time my body had built up an intolerance to it so I was exceeding the recommended amount to get relief. I came in to the office and I thoroughly explained my situation to the Nurse Practitioner before she called the Doctor into my room. I heard her begin to brief the doctor on what was going on with me before he RUDELY interrupted her asking "what room is she in?" He came in and said "you just need to go to the specialist". I told him that I have been waiting for 4 months to go and my appointment isn't until July 11th. He cut me off repeatedly when I desperately asked him "what can I do in the interim? I am suffering" he gave me the same suggestions as he did previously and within 30 seconds left out. I called his front desk requesting a call back when he had more time. He later called back and talked to me like I was the scum of the earth! I tried to explain that I was really concerned about my condition and the dosage and simply asked what was a safe way to taper myself to a lower dosage and he said "YOU HAVE TO READ THE BOX! What are you asking? What are you asking? What are you asking?" In the MIDST of me trying to ask him questions. He was so short with me, extremely rude, condescending and unhelpful. I was desperate to find a physician within my network so I travel 35 minutes to this office however it is NOT WORTH IT AT ALL!!! After reading other reviews and hearing the "I'm sorry you feel that way...I would trust my family with my Nurse Practitioners...I treat my patients like my family...blah blah blah" responses that be gave to 1 star reviews, I realize that those responses are merely to save face however you don't feel like family In this office at all. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

This office is terrible. The girls at the front desk, Mayra and Ivana, are wonderful. Very helpful and very professional. However, the NP, Esmeralda is horrible. Unprofessional, rude, has no bed side manners, and is very very uncaring of her patients. My mom and sister(with an intellectual delay)have medical and thought this would be a good doctors office for both. They have tried to see the doctor but have never met him. On several occasions my mom has attempted to see Esmeralda and she is very rude and does not want to see my mother who has several health issues. My mother has had to pay out of pocket to see another physician. I cannot understand why this office is even legally open if the Physician does not see patients here. This NP, should not be allowed to see any patients until she learns to treat patients with dignity and respect. read more

Dr. Parvinchi is one of the more caring doctors I've encountered. His recommendation came from a colleague at Holy Cross and we are glad we took his advice. He's always generally kind and happy. He listens first then offers his professional opinion and uses the vast specialty doctors at his disposal. And that is how good healthcare should work. We are absolutely happy with Dr. Parvinchi as my father's Primary Care Physician. However, as with many physician offices, the only issue I wish was always on point is the prescription refills. There are times I've had to contact the office to tell them directly that the pharmacy has been trying to reach them about refilling a prescription. And once it took 1 1/2 weeks for them to respond. At that time, because of this I had to ask for 2 emergency refills from the pharmacy, which only gives us about 3 doses. But all in all, He's worth my recommendation to others. read more

let me start by saying we recently moved to beautiful Santa Clarita, i needed to find a new family doctor/PCP and unfortunately i ended up choosing DR Amir Parvinchi. i only visited him one time & that was enough for me to change my DR right away . He is the most unprofessional, lackadaisical and careless Doctor i have ever come across in my life. i waited a while for him to come and see me. once he came in he spent no more then 2 minutes with me, didn't ask me any relevant questions, i felt insulted and belittled by him, he was speaking to me as though i was less of a human then he is, he kept cutting off his nurse who was trying to explain to him the reason for my visit and the symptoms i had explained to the nurse while waiting for Dr Amir. After all of 2 minutes he grabbed his cell phone from his picket and walked out. If you take the time and read his replies to all the negative reviews he's received, he comes across as hypocritical always defending his staff and himself and never sympathizing or empathizing with any of his patients and kind of blaming them for everything. which basically explains the kind of Dr he is but more importantly the kind of person he is. i am glad i changed my Doctor and i will be making a complaint about him to my insurance as well . read more
