**DON'T GO HERE!!**…read more The service is HORRIBLE!! I called and made reservations for a large party of 20 on February 9th and even asked if they could handle a party that size. They assured me they could. February 27th comes, and they only had us seated for 15. I went up and asked about it. They said the reservation was for 20. I said, "Correct, but we don't have enough seats." They eventually gave us more seats. They made us wait over an hour just to order -- despite the entire party being there. We tried to make it easier by saying what food would go on which ticket. The waitress abruptly said she wouldn't be giving the cook that many tickets (it would have been six separate tickets). She said we could just pay separately at the counter -- simple enough. We waited FOREVER for our food. When we asked for refills, we were told we had to wait until the food was ready. Mind you -- we only had WATER. The food came out COLD, and we still didn't even have forks to eat with. When we tried to pay, we were told we couldn't split the bill. The manager was beyond disrespectful and aggressive. Finally, they let us split the bill and be on our way. We got to the restaurant at 5:30 and didn't leave until 8:00 p.m. In a town saturated with Mexican dining options, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! Olè is across the street and MUCH better. **Separate issue:** My newborn's diaper bag was returned after being left there, and the manager is now refusing to give it back. We called, and at first they hung up. Assuming it was an error, we called again, and the woman who answered said, "What do you want?" Absolutely petty and unprofessional. ---

I'm in Scottsbluff, NE on my way to Utah. This was my stopover for tonight…read more I grabbed a room at the Quality Inn and this restaurant was directly behind it . If you follow my reviews, you'll notice that I travel quite extensively in my work and it seems like I always find a Mexican restaurant. I'm also a foodie. I am not picky, but I am particular. I like the way the food looks, I like the ambience of the restaurant and of course it Hass to taste good. I like everything about this restaurant. The surroundings were like the most Midwest Mexican restaurants. I mean the whole Mazatlan motif with the furniture and things like that. When you first sit down, as with most Mexican restaurants, they'll drop some chips and salsa on the table . I was pleasantly surprised to see they dropped. Frijole is on the table as well. I proceeded to order a corona and some queso and guacamole . I'm ready to start eating my chips and relax with a beer. I really don't try to rush in gorge myself and leave, because I travel so much I use this more of a relaxation time. I had the Combo #4. Chile Relleno, Taco, Burrito and Guacamole Tostada with Rice and Beans ($14). Every part of the meal was good. I mean it is what it is for most Mexican restaurants in the Midwest. This one stood out more than the rest. It's closer to a Jalisco Mexican, which you would find in Texas, Arizona or California. I would rate this one higher than most that you will find in the Midwest. I mean it's really damn good. The service was outstanding, and it was a great place to chill and when I'm in Scottsbluff, Nebraska again, I will definitely eat here.

I cannot believe how packed this restaurant was for a Thursday evening. We had a party of seven…read morewith a reservation. When the table was ready "your table is ready but it's really tight. Would you be okay with that"? After flying to Colorado and then driving three hours to get to Nebraska, that didn't seem appealing. Well, everyone was hungry so we took it. The table was awful to sit at. I had to sit on the corner of the table and so did someone else in our party. Bean dip and chips were on the table. That bean dip was so good. The salsas were great as well. If you want more chips and bean dip, they do charge you for it. Just a heads up. I ordered the chicken tacos - not great. No flavor at all. The tacos were a nice size. But I really couldn't eat them unless I added a ton of salsa. My husband ordered the fish tacos and didn't eat his said "these are the plainest fish tacos I have ever eaten. I just can't make them taste good no matter what I do" People seem to love this place. The waitress was GREAT! She was so on top of us, had a great disposition and smile. She was the only blonde working the room. I can't remember her name. It was insanely loud in the back room. If I lived here, this would not be a destination for me.
