I had a major computer failure. I mean that thing just flat out died in my arms. Good bye forever Lenovo. I was on vacation and this was a MAJOR problem. I called Carmichael and rushed my computer over to see if they could give it CPR or put it on life support. No such luck. RIP. Everyone at this company was so helpful and tried everything they could. In the end they amazed me by letting me know that they actually were able to recover almost everything from my hard drive. This was a miracle. I was able to purchase a computer and have it shipped to me and put everything back on the new one. It's like it never happened. Carmichael saved me from disaster. I was traveling through Mammoth when I realized I had forgotten my computer charger and needed one urgently to do some work online. This company was recommended to me to buy the specific charger I needed and they indeed had it. Sarah, who helped me, was very friendly and got the charger right away. Unfortunately, it completely died 6 days after purchasing. I know it was a used charger, but 6 days? I emailed Sarah last week and never received a response. I emailed her again today, and am hoping someone from the company sees this posting or replies to my email requesting a refund. I don't wish to badmouth the business but they should not be selling defunct products. read more

Ten minutes later I'm ready to roll and the guy starts walking away with his dog before I can thank him. I catch him, offer thanks and some money and he says - no need, welcome to Mammoth. Short version: I needed a new laptop charger urgently. A local hotel suggested I try Carmichael Business Technology. I called and they invited me to stop by, which I did within 30 minutes. The staff I met were kind, thoughtful, and not annoyed with my sudden appearance. I highly recommend for people passing through the Mammoth area in need of tech support. Longer Version: I work remotely 100% of the time and tend to be in areas that are more removed from a lot of everyday conveniences. All I need is my laptop and wifi. So my charger exploding was a significant problem. In order to successfully live on the road, I count on finding really great people and businesses. Carmichael Business Technology was one of these gems I stumbled across and they really helped me out when my alternative option was to drive to Carson City. They also have a really sweet dog in the office, so extra points. They handled a difficult laptop migration and conversion to Office 365, resolved years of syncing issues with IPhone, and backups. Everyone there pleasant to work with, Jordan stayed late to accommodate my travel schedule, Tony stepped in to handle my cleanup issues, and whole team extremely knowledgeable.
