It is a husband and wife team, the wife used a hard sales technique on me stating what was wrong with my body and making it seem dire then stating "Are you willing to do the work to get better?" Something to that effect. I study sales, she already knew my insurance was paying and I wanted to get better, it was so slimy and creepy. They charged me $20 for a piece of foam and made me wait while they checked if they could give it to me without collecting payment first (knowing I was on a retainer) When I pointed out errors were made in my traction, the doctor used a photo of him doing it correctly NOT THE DATE I SAID HE DID IT INCORRECTLY to prove me "wrong." The P/T Marilee is nice and detail oriented but is not trained in any way outside of her routine and when I told them I had a new injury they were completely floored I asked them to reconsider their wrote routine and later called that "verbal aggression." Anyone who stands up for their right to autonomy, their body and asks the staff prioritize the patients over their entertainment and antidote to boredom is "aggressive."

I have only been seeing a chiropractor for the last year and a half, but I have received adjustments from approximately 10 to 12 different chiropractors during this time. I have yet to find somebody who gives me an adjustment quite at the level as the first couple that I had from a chiropractor in Aurora who is no longer in business. I also picked up a couple Groupon deals and tried some out. Those adjustments tended to be not that satisfying, and it seemed like it was mostly an opportunity for them to upsell me on an expensive package. Probably my number one complaint about seeing a chiropractor, is that it is not that cheap. Sure it depends a lot on your insurance. And, considering that I was skeptical of the whole procedure for many, many years, it's interesting to even have these kind of opinions, now that I am a regular. What I like about The Joint, is that I consistently get solid B+ quality adjustments. However, the price just cannot be beat. I signed up for the monthly package where I get four adjustments a month at a very reasonable price. I can also do additional ones at a reduced price as well. This place gets me in and out quickly. Beware is all I will say for he truly believes what he does works! I now go to a Chiro that uses a hand-held device and have seen much improvement along my spinal issues!! Never would I have thought I'd see such a dramatic change in my overall life style when I first…read morestarted coming here but I'm happy to say in my first 4 months it's been genuinely altering. I haven't had any chronic or life altering injuries that presently affect my daily routine but I have had habitual neck pain for 10+ years, hard to sleep but even worse waking up with tension headaches that only pain medication could reduce. However now, not only can I fall asleep far easier but I don't instinctively crack my neck all day long for relief. I never thought I'd have that relief. They've also helped relieve my consistent lower back compression and given me excellent tools to help wherever I am. David and Marcus have both done incredible work with me every time I show up. They're both knowledgeable on my needs and problems along with wanting me to be set up for success in my long term goals and body ideals. The office staff is also equally lovely, always flexible with my scheduling needs for work and were very transparent with the whole plan process when starting out. They also kept up email contact when first answering my questions, which I never get anywhere. My only small critique is that I was never able to get the app they use for your chart progress on your phone.
