This is a long list of symptoms and I felt like a hypochondriac because Western Medical Doctors would say to me, in general, that 'I am healthy as a horse. I could afford to lose weight. I took part in the Science Based Nutrition testing Dr J is doing along with Dr. Merkel. I took part in the Foundational Blood Panel, Toxic Element Hair, Urinalysis, Cleveland Heart Panel, and the Female Hormone Panel. My results were somewhat alarming, so Dr J did further urine testing with chelating. Found out my body was not disposing of metals, thus causing me to feel sick with my long list of symptoms. No wonder why my urine tests appeared normal to my Doctor. No wonder why I felt like I had the flu a lot without fever and "out of season" for the flu. The metal toxification was causing an increased risk of heart attack, stroke, or premature death. I am 41 years old and not ready to part this life. I have only been seeing a chiropractor for the last year and a half, but I have received adjustments from approximately 10 to 12 different chiropractors during this time. I have yet to find somebody who gives me an adjustment quite at the level as the first couple that I had from a chiropractor in Aurora who is no longer in business. I also picked up a couple Groupon deals and tried some out. Those adjustments tended to be not that satisfying, and it seemed like it was mostly an opportunity for them to upsell me on an expensive package. Probably my number one complaint about seeing a chiropractor, is that it is not that cheap. Sure it depends a lot on your insurance. And, considering that I was skeptical of the whole procedure for many, many years, it's interesting to even have these kind of opinions, now that I am a regular. What I like about The Joint, is that I consistently get solid B+ quality adjustments. However, the price just cannot be beat. I signed up for the monthly package where I get four adjustments a month at a very reasonable price. I can also do additional ones at a reduced price as well. This place gets me in and out quickly. I haven't had any chronic or life altering injuries that presently affect my daily routine but I have had habitual neck pain for 10+ years, hard to sleep but even worse waking up with tension headaches that only pain medication could reduce. However now, not only can I fall asleep far easier but I don't instinctively crack my neck all day long for relief. I never thought I'd have that relief. They've also helped relieve my consistent lower back compression and given me excellent tools to help wherever I am. David and Marcus have both done incredible work with me every time I show up. They're both knowledgeable on my needs and problems along with wanting me to be set up for success in my long term goals and body ideals. After a thorough examination, she massaged some muscle complex in my hip and pelvic area which brought immediate relief After an additional lower spine adjustment, she showed me some stretching exercises to stabilize my hips and back. I felt about 70% immediate relief and now continue on a good path of recovery to get back to Golf and the things that I enjoy.
