I've been coming here for the past couple months. This is not the only location to which I go, but is the closest one to where I live. Consequently, I tend to come here the most. I have only been seeing a chiropractor for the last year and a half, but I have received adjustments from approximately 10 to 12 different chiropractors during this time. I have yet to find somebody who gives me an adjustment quite at the level as the first couple that I had from a chiropractor in Aurora who is no longer in business. I also picked up a couple Groupon deals and tried some out. Those adjustments tended to be not that satisfying, and it seemed like it was mostly an opportunity for them to upsell me on an expensive package. Probably my number one complaint about seeing a chiropractor, is that it is not that cheap. Sure it depends a lot on your insurance. And, considering that I was skeptical of the whole procedure for many, many years, it's interesting to even have these kind of opinions, now that I am a regular. What I like about The Joint, is that I consistently get solid B+ quality adjustments. However, the price just cannot be beat. I signed up for the monthly package where I get four adjustments a month at a very reasonable price. I can also do additional ones at a reduced price as well. This place gets me in and out quickly. And, best of all, they do not try to upsell me on buying any expensive packages or x-rays. read more

When I first went to The Joint I had a couple of small issues with front-end staff but after complaining to management the issues were explained more fully and fixed. Since then I have been extraordinarily happy with the service and value. If you need x-rays and a comprehensive "plan" there are more appropriate places to go, and you'll pay for that too. At The Joint though, it's focused on affordable and quick adjustments, they do listen carefully and explain treatment and options, and then take notes in their system so if you go to another office they can quickly catch themselves up. I can comfortably afford to go 2+ times a week now -something I've been hard-pressed to actually do in the past- and it's definitely helping! I am glad I found them! read more

Be careful! I live in Arvada and work in Belmar and enjoyed going to both locations. As the pandemic had started, I, like Michael W. writes, tried to cancel the service, but am still being charged. Furthermore, they insist that I have to come in to cancel the membership in person. It's frustrating that they will not accommodate their customers who are mindfully avoiding non-essential travel to avoid getting/spreading the corona virus. It's 2020, they should be able to conduct this type of business without in-person contact. I've called and asked for a manager to call, and days later, I have received no call back. If you're looking to join the JOINT, I'd recommend the Arvada location, there is an EXCELLENT chiropractor there, and the service is better. read more

I love that with my membership I'm saving money on my weekly chiropractic adjustments, but that I can also visit any clinic for treatment. If you are looking for a chiropractor in the Lakewood, Belmar area, I strongly suggest NOT going to The Joint. I was a long-time client of The Joint in Lakewood Colorado. During a recent adjustment, with Dr. Zac Lesniak, I made a comment about his knees due to the pressure he put on my leg. The following week when I arrived for my adjustment, Dr. Zac Lesniak, began yelling at me and jabbing his finger at me, causing me to back up twice to keep from being hit, accused me of body shaming him while refusing to treat me. He did this in front of the receptionist, another doctor and 2 other clients, his extremely childish and unprofessional actions cause a very uncomfortable situation. His comments and actions upset my cousin, who does not handle confrontation well and is very sensitive to body shaming. It took quite a while for her to calm down enough to continue with the day. This is not the first time he has acted like a spoiled little brat, throwing fits about other doctors, the receptionist and upper management, calling them stupid and useless. The extreme level of unprofessionalism by Dr. Zac Lesniak, compelled my cousin and I to terminate our contract with The Joint. read more

I have never walked out of a chiropractor more displeased. I see a chiropractor at the Joint regularly where I live. I was driving through Denver and had slept funny, so on the way to the airport and site seeing, I figured I would stop to help alleviate the pain in my back. The chiropractor was a female with black curly hair. She was not friendly, she did not make me feel safe or like I was in good care. She was snappy, and sassy when I asked questions or made comments. I asked her to try to pop my neck again, because it didn't pop like it typically does. Her reply? "I'm a specific type of chiropractor", to which I said, "oh, what kind is that?", and she responded, "the kind that only adjusts what needs to be adjusted". So, needless to say, I did not feel any better walking out of the Joint, I would never return there, I still could not turn my neck and still had significant pain. I asked her to pop my wrists, as I had driven 5 hours to Denver, and would be driving 5 hours the next morning, she acted as if I asked her to hang the moon. In my opinion, not professional. Several lights were out inside the office, and the office itself was not clean or well kept. read more

Dr. Roberts and Dr. Jason (who I refer to as "My Boys") are wonderful chiropractors. I know my body and these two doctors listen to me as a patient and preform adjustments as needed and even the adjustments I request. Kari, the front desk person, is friendly and when I enter, I feel as though I'm walking into my own home. I went to this place only because my usual chiropractor was closed and I had a severe neck injury. I could not turn my head, I could not sleep, and my shoulder was out of joint. I was miserable and desperate. The doctor I saw was very nice, but I felt so much worse when I came out than when I went in. I went in to see my usual chiropractor when he was back from his vacation, and it took him two weeks to fix me up when it probably only would have taken one week. My husband has thrown away the "frequent buyer card" they give you when you go in and fill out their paperwork. If my chiropractor goes away on vacation again, I will absolutely just wait until he is back in town to be seen, no matter how much pain I am in. Lesson learned! read more

I saw Dr. Jason for 3 years prior to moving out of state. In fact I would often drive out of my way to see him at the Belmar location because his adjustments were so good. I find a lot of joint locations rely heavily on using the table to do adjustments but not Dr. Jason. He will get you in the right position to get an effective adjustment and not just rely on the table. If he doesn't think it's right for you he won't do it. And if you have a stubborn spot that won't go.. he always has a way to try again - but without hurting you. I wish I still lived in CO because I sincerely miss Dr. Jason's neck cracks! I love this place!!!! Super affordable and fast service! I am a restaurant server and my back is constantly needing adjusting. Their monthly plan is wonderfully priced for my needs. $69 a month gives you 4 adjustments and any more that month are only $10 each!!!!! You can't beat it! I caution you about using this THE JOINT for chiropractor services. Not only did it make my back worse but they also screw you on canceling their monthly plans. Worst company in all of COLORADO. Save you money and go to a real chiropractor that actually does x-rays before starting work on you. If I could rate them less than a 1 star that's what they would get. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS. I came into the joint chiropractic Belmar back in October of 2020 to get a basic adjustment for minor back pain. They then told me that it would take around 8 total adjustments to fix the pain. I then was told about a special that was $80 for 11 visits. I signed for the service and went for around the next 6 weeks. That's when I noticed that another $80 had been pulled from my account for the month of November. I called in and asked about the withdrawal. I was then told that it's a monthly subscription and not a special like I was told in October. I asked for the subscription to canceled which they told me they would. Now fast forward to February 2021, I am now calling in for the 4th month in row to cancel the $80 subscription that was suppose to be cancelled in November for a grand total of $320 that has been withdrawn from my account. I don't really if there anything else I can say about this. If I could give 0 stars I would. read more

I've been going to this Joint on and off for a few years now. They often seem to have trouble with their front desk person. However tonight I have to leave a bad review for Kristen they're present front desk lady. I came in and she didn't greet me at all nor did she even use my name in any of our interactions she just asked my phone number. Then she told me I would be put in a queue it would take 20-30 minutes but she didn't know how long that was. And finally when I went back after that 20 some minutes she hadn't put me in the queue at all. I know they're a busy spot and I keep going back because the chiropractors are good. However if I walk in and see Kristen again I will just go to a different location. The joint has always been helpful service for me. Since I work three jobs and have to be on my feet a lot. It just would be nice to be referred to by your name at a place you've been going to for several years.
