The lady that work there is Very rude and unprofessional and service is terrible and too expensive

I downloaded Yelp just to give this place 1 star. If I could give it 0 star I would. I needed about 1/2 inch of my jacket sewn, the lady told me to come back when it wasn't raining. My jacket was inside a shopping bag... I told her it's dry and in this bag. She said okay come back when not raining. At that point I realized there must be a gear missing up top, and left. read more

I went to have something cleaned and the lady that works there just sat there acting like she didn't want to be there before finally asking me what do I want. You ask people "What do they want" when addressing them? I told her that I didn't want anything before walking out of the door. Evidently they must not need any additional business. I'll keep looking for another place to bring my companies uniforms. read more

Today I brought my wedding tux to this dry cleaners which I have gone plenty of times in the past. The women who sits to the left got up to help me. I simply asked her if they press the tux on site since my wedding is only week away. I wanted to ensure it has no chance of getting lost. The women mumbled something and was clearly upset with my question. She then said I have been here 37 years and pointed to the back at something. She then ripped out my pants and jacket from the hanger and threw it across the table. She then began yelling at me as if I asked her something wrong. She then just walked away and left me confused. Another man came up to help and acted as if nothing happened. Not even an apology oh and they wouldn't hang back up the pants and tux they had just ripped down off the hanger. I will never ever ever go back to this cleaners. I can't believe how unbelievably rude they were to me for no reason at all. read more

This place is awful, my clothes reek after picking them up. I will need to get them dry cleaned somewhere else now. They didnt even have my clothes ready on time. Do not bring any clothes here. read more

This business is terrible. Tried to keep my business "local" - bad idea. Did a terrible job - only tacked the pants hem at seams, then tried to tell me that washing the clothes makes the stitches come out. Then why are all my other clothes still together?? read more

The absolute worst customer service. Rude and nasty! I will NEVER patronize this business again. The man was nice. The women was horrible. Their credit card machine was not working and she threw my ticket at me. I hope she realizes how much business she loss! read more

Went there to get a pair of pants hemmed, the woman started pinning the bottom of the pants which was perfect. Asked her if the back could be taken in and she started ripping the pins off the bottom of my pants. When I asked why she was doing that, that was the part that was good she said too much stress too much work and walked away. Was left standing there with no clue what was going on. If I could give zero stars, I would. I brought a rather expensive shirt to be dry cleaned at this business. When I went to pick the shirt up a few days later and put it in my car, I noticed a lot of lint on one of the sleeves. Not a big deal but I figured I'd bring it back in and have the clean it. I took one foot in the door and the female owner very rudely says "Is that wrong shirt?" I said no it's my shirt but the sleeve is covered in lint. She tells me maybe my car is dirty. Forget the fact that my car was actually brand new at the time, I hadn't even placed it in my car yet. Then when she pulls the plastic off to remove the lint from the sleeve, I notice that the buttons on the sleeve looked burnt and cracked, and they actually fell off. The owner again refuses to take responsibility and blames it on me. It's a brand new shirt! I told her that this store is the absolute worst and would never give them my business again. Mistakes happen, and if she simply apologized I would've been fine with that. But to blame me for their mistakes, they just lost a solid customer. I must say I'm surprised with the reviews I've read here. I've been using Carmill cleaners for years and have never had an issue. I'm greeted with a smile, their work is phenomenal and always have my clothing ready when I'm told it will be done at drop off. Any and all alterations I've needed have been completed to perfection including a dress I wore for my birthday that was altered to fit my body like a glove. I recommend them to everyone I know in the area! Loyal customer here! read more

Don't go there ! Dropped off a pair of Michael Kors pants on May 10 . The computers were down so they wrote my name and number in the notebook . When I went back to pick up . First they said they couldn't find .. Then the next day she told me " you never dropped off ". Rude and nasty . She told me to go away . Never had so horrible treatment by anyone ! read more

I had a rip on a pair of pants, so I brought them to Carmill. The seamstress told me it would be $2 to have done. I paid her the $2, but she didn't put it on the receipt. She said she would remember I had already paid the $2 when I came to pick the pants up. When I went to pick it up, she asked me for $3 for the rip. I reminded her that she told me she would remember I had already paid. She screamed at me since I repeatedly told her I paid. Finally, she said to get out of her store. You don't speak to customers like that. She should have written, "already paid $2 for the rip" in the computer, so that she would remember. I will never go here again. read more

Don't go there they are very rude. They refused to do a friend of mines laundry and acted very abusive towards her which is totally wrong for any type of business to treat anyone. There was no reason for the demeaning actions that they did. The woman who owns the store actually went so far as to throw her clothes out onto the sidewalk. And all my friend asked was why all of a sudden they changed the policy requiring payment in advance when they hadn't done that previously. That is unacceptable behavior by anyone. read more

I would certainly think twice before bringing in anything for alterations. I asked to have a dress shortened and when I got it back the hem was totally uneven. When i asked the seamstress to fix it, she blamed ME for the problem and DEMANDED that i pay an additional fee before she would do any further work!! Not the way to do business or keep customers, that's for sure. read more

The lady who does the tailoring is so nasty. When I asked her a question she simply turned her head away and said that I was complaining. MY husband went there previously and told me that she was not at all friendly or nice, but when a white man walked in , she immediately smiled and welcomed him . Not good. I would never recommend her. I am not sure, but I think she is the owner as well. read more
