I paid for a completely new zipper on my jacket ($55.00). They had the jacket for four days. When I went to pick it up they gave me the repaired jacket and didn't say anything. When I got out to my car I noticed that they had only changed the slider and pull tab. I went back in to complain and they gave me $40.00 back. They made it right, but they were going to let me drive away having paid $55.00 for a $15.00 job. In fairness it may have been an honest mistake, but I don't think I will go to this place anymore. I have been going to this cleaners for 5 years and absolutely would not go anywhere else. They have sewn every patch on my sons uniforms and sashes in scouts even extended the sash when they outgrew the one they had. they got out grass dirt even pain off of there uniforms read more

I had a suit dry cleaned at Mega and kept it in the plastic until I dressed for an out of state wedding. To my dismay when I put the suit on for the wedding I discovered that the hem had been removed from one of the pant legs. The thread was completely removed. One of the pant legs had a hem and the other didn't. I went back there to inquire as to why the hem was removed I was told that they were not responsible and that it would cost me $6. She is accurate about one thing, Mega 109 is not a responsible dry cleaner. They would rather lose a customer then fix an obvious mistake. I had been using them for years up to that point. read more

Worst experience ever! I just moved to the area & dropped off a lot of clothes for wash n' fold. Upon trying to pick up my clothing they had placed the wrong receipt on my order & then tried to convince that someone else's clothes were actually mine. (I am a woman and the other person's clothing was very much male.) The man at the register gave me a TON of attitude when I told him he was incorrect & I had to tell him more than once to go in the back and find my clothes. After the finally found my laundry they didn't want to give me back my own personal laundry bag and I had to have another person search for that. Absolutely ridiculous and uncalled for -- it's laundry, not rocket science. NEVER waste your time and money here! read more

fair pricing-- plus $18 of dry cleaning gets all men's shirts $.99, this is extreme cost savings for my pocket due to taking care of my bf dry clean and my own! everyone is courteous, friendly and helpful its clean they are fast and accommodating for next day items needed i would recommend this location for anyone in the babylon area who does $18+ in dry cleaning and needs to save money when doing so (4/29/15) I moved away from babylon in Dec and have been SEARCHING for a dry cleaners with good SVC and fair pricing - and still haven't found -ONE DECENT PLACE. I wanted to see if this place was open now cause I was willing to mk the trip (that desperate). And upon opening their Yelp page - I was shocked! I CANT BELIEVE THE COMMENTS I READ ABOUT MY FAVORITE DRY CLEANERS! Either a lot has changed there or ppl are only concerned with writing bad reviews vs good ones?!? - I will say there alteration prices are on the $$$ higher side of things -The gentlemen (who I knew well when I was regular customer there) that manages the place is a honest professional... Sometimes ppl can come across what we LI folk like to call "Rude!" but in actuality it's simply them being blunt, speaking rough facts and not including a smile to make it seem warmer when it comes out of their mouth lol ... Haven't u seen this before? I've irritated this gentlemen before by coming at 7pm or 7:30 which was the exact time they closed and he already locked up and closed out the register .....so U can imagine ...he wasn't happy with me AT ALL LOL. After apologizing up & down being unaware that they close 10-15mins prior to the actual close time ... I thanked him up n down and showed my appreciation by offered him a tip for letting me p/U my much needed clothes up after he closed out and he softened up immediately then was over it. We are just ppl and just like we are aloud to snap and have a bad day so are the others that might be servicing us at the moment too, right? I try not to judge to much on the staff and more on the job and how much they charge to get it done. This cleaner has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever experienced. I managed to go here TWICE! That's it. They were so rude and nasty, I will never go back. Long story short, they blamed me, the customer, for something they did incorrectly. I was willing to pay to have the mistake corrected but they didn't care. Rather than retaining me as a client they preferred to stare at me like I had asked them to burn the building down. I'll find another place. read more

Been going to this dry cleaner for 8 years now. The asian man at the counter is EXTREMELY RUDE. 2 weeks ago I went to pick up a single suit. I wanted to pay with my mastercard but since it was under $10 he refused to allow me to pay by credit card. He actually became nasty and when I told him I'm a customer of 8 years and don't have the cash but I need this suit ASAP. He refused and started talking loudly how he told me once before and he checked my record and said in 2010 he told me the credit card minimum is $10. What terrible service and how do you talk to a customer like that especially in a full store with other customers. They obviously don't care about retaining customers. This is 100% ILLEGAL!!! I sell merchant services for a living so I submitted to NY State a formal complaint so they'll be stopping by to investigate and likely give them a fine. Horrible place with nasty service. I found a new place a short distance away with very nice staff. Why would I hand over my hard earned money (or plastic) to such horrible people! read more

This was the absolute worst (even frightening) experience I've ever had at any professional establishment. I've brought a few items to be cleaned and although I noted they were a bit expensive, I attempted to bring my gown for my daughter's wedding there to be hemmed. The dress order was late and the bridal shop was very back logged so I thought I would be better served at a place like this. The seamstress spoke NO English and the rest of the staff and owners can barely be understood. She put me on a small, slippery 3 foot high stool in 4 inch heels and when I tried to hold onto something she began screaming "stand straight!" Which is obviously the few words she's learned. I tried to deal with it (not to mention there was no A/C & very hot in there) and was very polite to her and was finally got through it without falling. She nodded when I asked if they could sew cups in the dress but I was then told by someone else that I had to go buy them myself and deliver them to her. I was fine with that also. I then asked the price... mind you, the gown needed a tuck in the spaghetti halter strap as well as the belt and a hem. They proceeded to speak in their language in front of me (so rude) And the younger guy tells me the hem alone is $225! I calmly said that seems very high so he told her. She became enraged, screaming and ran over, crumpled up my mother of the bride gown, threw it at me & said "you go, you go!" I stood there speechless and when I (again calmly) tried to explain my feedings to the guy, he put his hand in my face and shouted "You stop talking now!!" ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? I began wrapping my dress up to leave and told him I would not patronize a business where they treat customers this way. She then screamed in her language & he began YANKING MY DRESS FROM ME!! Apparently, there were 5 straight pins in it that they wanted so they felt it appropriate to play tug of war with my gown! He almost destroyed it. I demanded he let go of my dress - she ran over ripping her pins out & I finally got hold of my $500 gown, threw a dollar bill on their counter and told her she could buy 100 pins with that. I looked at this 20-30 something guy and told him I would be posting this so others wouldn't be treated this way and that I don't know how he was taught, but he should be ashamed of himself. Horrible!!!! Alterations were done incorrectly and I had to go back three times to have it fixed. The tailor was laughing at how upset and angry I got and was clearly annoyed he was asked to fix his mistakes. As a result he ultimately ruined my pants instead of fixing them. The manager along with the woman at counter were no better. The only nice person was the 18 yr old kid working the register. Otherwise the others I dealt with were extremely rude and unprofessional. Would have given zero stars if this would have let me. Will never use them again! read more

Not the best but not the worst. Bring mostly laundered shirts here and they are pressed well but the cleaning isnt the best. Collars are my biggest concern. Shirts are returned with collars looking no different than how they were before being dropped off. Dry Cleaners that are willing to treat collars are hard to come by! If you're not as concerned with the cleaning and more the pressing, this it the place for you. read more

I have just had a horrible experience with this dry cleaner and the owner. My husband dropped of dress pants to be let out and jeans to be shortened. Jeans were too short and dress pants were not even touched. This caused a major issue the morning of a family christening where my husband was the Godfather and unable to wear the suit he purchased specifically for this occasion. It cost me $42 which i think is absurd for two pants. In addition i had to go there twice to get anything done and when I spoke to the owner NOT ONCE DID HE APOLOGIZE for the service not being provided or the inconvenience it caused. He refused to give me my money back for the jeans because my husband wasn't present to prove they were too short. He was condescending, smirking at me and was very insulting. The seamstress was no better telling me she had 34 years of seamstress experience which is all great but guess what MISTAKES happen so own up to it and apologize! It looks like there are some really bad reviews on here and I wish i would have read them before going there. NEVER AGAIN WILL I EVER GO HERE AND I WILL TELL ANYONE I KNOW IN THE AREA TO DO THE SAME!! I will be calling my bank to put a stop on payment to this place as they refused to credit me the full amount. Horrible service and horrible people, they should be shut down! read more
